I really enjoyed my first visit here at the Settlers Ridge First Watch! My mom and I came on a Monday morning, which was perfect. It seems to be very busy on weekends, so it was nice not to have to wait for a table. I ordered an iced coffee, definitely recommend. I noticed after ordering it they also have cold brew. For breakfast, I ordered the lemon ricotta pancakes. These were delicious!!! They were so light and fluffy, yet filling at the same time. The strawberries and lemon curd on top made the dish. My mom ordered the elevated egg sandwich. She really liked it! It also came with a side of potatoes, which you can never go wrong with breakfast potatoes. It's been a while since we have been here. Had a really great skillet with home fries, veggies, cheese, egg, and toast. I like how it came with a little soufflé cup of fruit and side of jam. They serve coffee by pitcher that is kept at your table along with a water pitcher for self serve. I actually love that they have flavored creamers here that are kept at the table. Service was ok. Went for the first time today for an early Mother's Day brunch. Friday at 9:30am and no wait. The host was very warm and welcoming. He greeted us immediately with a huge smile. We ordered the Chickichanga, farmhouse hash, and kids chocolate pancake. Everything was absolutely delicious. My chickiganga was packed with flavor. I can't wait to come back and order it again. I settled on splitting a shareable appetizer and a special for brunch. Check out the pic of this specialty toast - whole wheat thick bread, slathered with a lemon ricotta spread, with fresh strawberries, blueberries, blackberries and granola on top! It was delish and I wish I had more! A LARGE piece of toast cut into 3 pieces was perfect for sharing. I ordered the spare rib Benedict. It came with fresh arugula, Parmesan, and two poached eggs on top of fresh chibata. The eggs were a bit over poached but it was still perfectly delish. I worried about ordering this because I didn't want anything heavy, but it was honestly perfectly portioned and on the lighter side! I will also give a shout out about the hash browns.... I'm personally not a fan of hash browns period.... but these are my favorite! So much seasoning, a bit crispy and perfectly soft in the middle. I would order these again! My hubs ordered the Parma Skillet. It was sausage, crimini mushrooms, tomatoes, eggs to order and cheese over hash-browns. It was pretty large! There was ample seating and friendly staff. Traveling out of town and needing to kill some time before IKEA opened we turned to yelp for a breakfast recommendation and ended up at First Watch I'm not usually a chain restaurant kind of gal but this was pleasantly surprising... crisp clean modern farmhouse vibe, great daily specials on offer made it feel more unique than a chain. The service was outstanding - so attentive and friendly! gave them my number and asked how long the wait would be. she said 5-15 minutes so we waited outside on the bench. about 20 minutes went by and we came inside to check on the wait and she said we had been kicked off the list because i didn't see the texts they sent. not only did i not receive any texts but when i let her know i didn't receive any, she gave me an attitude and ignored me. if there's an issue with the system they should want to know so this doesn't happen to others. and if she typed my number in wrong she could have at least apologized. some sort of acknowledgement would have been appreciated. at least 5-7 tables that walked in after we were placed on the list got seated before us. if you make a mistake it's important to be professional. the location in bridgeville is much better... read more

Disappointed- we have been to other First Watch locations and loved them. This location the furniture is old, worn and needs updating. The food was mediocre and small portions. We had a great experience at First Watch. We signed in online and it was hour wait but when we arrived we were seated immediately. The server was very friendly and efficient. In Pittsburgh on a freezing, grey day and looking for a warm spot with good brunch. I'd been to a First Watch location in another city before, but this one was pretty great. Maybe it's just because I was super cold (definitely not cut out for this weather), but I was instantly charmed by the warmth of the interior - not just in temperature, but the lighting and polished, but homey, feel. It wasn't too busy so I got a booth pretty quickly. My server was super sweet and never made me feel rushed, even though I stayed forever! They have free wifi and I was able to get a fair amount of work done while eating and after. Speaking of eating, I had the farmhouse hash and it was actually amazing. Wasn't really expecting that, but it was delicious. Highly recommend it and this First Watch location in general. While you wait for your table they offer flavored water and coffee. They are set up to handle several groups of up to 7 adults in booths. There is also a self-seating communal table. In nice weather, there are a few tables with umbrellas outside. The friendly staff is very efficient about service. I like the atmosphere with the farmhouse decor. First Watch is serving up a breakfast that will keep you coming back! I originally ventured to Settlers Ridge to meet a friend at Panera, but we ended up wandering over to First Watch instead. Upon arriving there was a line and I was a little discouraged, but I very quickly received a text that our table was ready! Upon being seated our waitress gave us our own pot of coffee and water carafe, which I actually really enjoyed. I loved having coffee refills without trying to flag down the waitress on a busy Sunday morning. Inside we ordered Lemon Ricotta Pancakes and the Healthy Turkey. I don't typically order juice at restaurants, but I also tacked on a Spring Hydrate juice because it sounded enticing with cucumber, pineapple, coconut water, and lemon. It was delightful and very refreshing. The Healthy Turkey was very good, but the Lemon Ricotta took the prize. The inside of the restaurant is a little confusing because it is very plainly decorated and almost looks like a chain, but the menu itself is almost artisan! It's an improvement on Eat n Park. They have some healthy food options, and their service is quite good. There's outdoor seating, and the tables all have umbrellas. I like that there are newspapers you can read and they are kept somewhat organized up front by the register. The tables are clean, and they bring you a glass jar of water so you can refill your own glass when you like. Unlike some other reviewers, I got very quick service, but that may due to the time of day. There seem to be plenty of staff working, and the service was very good. read more

I can never get enough of First Watch and was glad to see they've opened for dining in (and have a few tables outside). Their food is always consistently tasty. I had my two go to's while here on a Saturday afternoon-Eggs Benedict Florentine and a Kale Tonic. They were quick taking my order and my food came pretty fast despite it being filled with guests at almost 50% capacity. The eggs were poached perfectly, avocado just ripe, along with fresh tomatoes, spinach and fresh greens lightly dressed along with a crispy but soft enough ciabatta bread. Delicious! All the employees were very friendly and just were happy to be there. I did have their take out once during COVID-19 and it was also tasty. I rarely come to first watch because it's always jam packed, but over the past week I've visited twice, and both experiences were awesome. They were pretty busy but the wait was not super long, and we were seated relatively fast both times. I ordered the farmhouse hash both times I went this week. It's always been one of my favorite things on the menu, and I was reminded that it still my favorite on the menu! I recommend getting it with over easy eggs on top so everything comes together nicely (I'm getting hungry just thinking about it). The meal comes with a piece of really thick, yummy multigrain bread, strawberry jam, and a teeny tiny cup of fruit. I want to try out more on this menu because everything looks fresh and delicious. I just can't stop ordering the farmhouse hash! Anyways, the service is always nice and personable. Overall my meal was good, but wasn't anything special for how much money it cost. I got the classic eggs Benedict, the flavor was good and I enjoyed the bread it came on. I also tried the pumpkin pancake, it was delicious!! It had great flavor and was a good size and fluffy. One thing that really bothered me was that when we sat down the waitress immediately said she'd get us coffee, which was nice but the way she talked about it and the fact that there was coffee sitting in the waiting area made it seem like the coffee was free. When our bill came we were both charged almost $3 for the coffee. Not a huge deal but we wouldn't have gotten it if we had known it wasn't free. Our waitress was nice though. Beware that the wait time on the weekend is usually 45 min to an hour, so I would highly recommend using the app to get your place in line before standing there for an hour. The service is great and everyone is friendly and helpful. The waiting area is crammed and congested because it's where you pay your bill and also sit while waiting for your seat. Oh boy, this is going to be awkward seeing all the glowing reviews here. My review here is solely based on a Take Out experience so take that at face value. Here we go (Start Rant) - We ordered the following : Smoked Salmon Eggs Benedict, Ham and Gruyere Sandwich, Lemon Ricotta Pancakes and Hard Wood Smoked Bacon. Smoked Salmon Eggs Benedict - This dish came in 3 boxes in a rather Deconstructed way!!. One had the open faced toasted bread with a minuscule quantity of smoked salmon, raw onion slices and tomato. The second box had a pathetic and broken attempt to make a soft boiled egg. The last tiny box had the hollandaise sauce. The barely there salmon was average at best and completely overshadowed by the mammoth slice of tomato and all the bread. The Egg as I mentioned was already devastated so was pretty much useless to use (The yolk was all over the box). The sauce wasn't whisked well and had some lumps of yolks still. Overall a extremely amateur dish and not even worth ordering as a take out (They should learn a thing or two from Central Diner on how to Box an Eggs Benedict!) Ham and Gruyere Sandwich - Warm sandwich (as in slices of bread) with cold meat and cheese. Hmmmm...think I've said enough on how that would've tasted Lemon Ricotta Pancakes - By far some of the worst I've had. You couldn't taste an iota of ricotta or even identify its presence there. The pancakes themselves were almost crumbly and lacked ANY flavor. The saving grace was the Tiny portion of Lemon Curd. Oh I almost forgot, the pieces of Strawberry were as you wold expect. Bacon - Nothing to write home about. Standard walmart kinds. I sincerely hope your experience is better than what we had.
