Tldr: Overall the service was decent and the food was meh. The restaurant was busy, but we were able to get a table in 10 minutes for a party of 2. Our server was nice and quickly poured us some coffee, though the coffee itself was sour. We ordered the Morning Meditation drink, the smoked salmon Benedict with a side of seasoned potatoes, and the Chickichanga. The drink was refreshing and the ginger was not overpowering. The flavors were balanced very well and was not too sweet. We waited about half an hour for our food. We did not get any updates until 15 minutes, when the server said there was some kind of issue about chicken. When the food arrived, it was lukewarm. The eggs on my Benedict were not consistent. One was hard boiled while the other was undercooked and cold, where the egg white was a bit slimy. Flavors on it were meh. There wasn't much flavor, but the pickled onions helped. The bread was nicely toasted and fluffy. The potatoes were a tad undercooked and plain. For seasoned potatoes, I was hoping for a lot more flavor, it just tasted like boiled potatoes. read more

I come here often with my two kids and the service is always great. Today we had Bre and she was so nice and anticipated our needs. We never had to wait for anything. The food was also very good. I LOVE their seasonal cinnamon chip pancakes. I also appreciate that they make substitutes for meat at no charge. Highly recommend this location!! read more

I was reluctant to go after reading the reviews, but I was just out of a medical procedure, breaking a fast, super hungry, and it was close. It wasn't great, but it wasn't bad either. The only thing I regretted was the chicken sausage patty--a bit greasy and not a seasoning I cared for. Prices on par with other similar spots, but should have been more food for the price. More hash browns would at least make the plate more full, and I don't think those would be too costly for them to provide. The service was fine--no complaints there. I saw complaints about the coffee, but I didn't think it was bad. The place was clean and attractive. I wasn't sure whether to give it a three or a four, but to be fair, there aren't any really good traditional breakfast places in the Richmond/Rosenberg area. Been to a few other locations and everything has been pretty good, reasonably priced for brunch. MILLION DOLLAR BREAKFAST Sandwich (seasonal) - over easy egg, gouda, bacon, pork sausage patty, honey, arugula, greens on an english muffin. It was really good and pretty filling. Sausage and bacon were tasty. Egg was cooked just right, not completely well done, just enough ooze to not make a mess. BACADO Omelet - Bacon, avocado and Monterey Jack. Topped with sour cream and served with a side of housemade Pico de Gallo. Boyfriend enjoyed it. Comes w/ toast and chose potatoes (both so good!). Also a fan of their lemon ricotta pancakes!! You can tell this place uses the best ingredients. The atmosphere is kind of country but international. And the service is always A-1. Be careful when you order. The bill can get out of control. BOXED EGGS on this location. This is my second time at this location, I normally go to the one in Sugar Land. I ordered my normal avocado toast but this time, the eggs were funny. First Watch was a great experience for me. Coming to the Aliana area is regular occurrence for me but I had never come to First Watch before. When I walked in, I was immediately surprised by large crowd surrounding the counter. My friend and I stood in the line only to find out that we were in the wrong line, and that there was another one on the right to put our names down for a table. Figuring out the line was quite confusing. However, once we put our names down we waited about 20 minutes for our party of 2 and got seated pretty efficiently. Our waitress was super nice and attentive, especially considering the Saturday morning rush. I ordered an iced coffee (3/5) and the Trifecta with a waffle, over easy eggs, and bacon (4/5). The coffee was good but a little on the sweeter side, whereas I prefer a little darker of an iced coffee. The waffle was so soft, but a little difficult to cut through with the cutlery. The berry jam and the cinnamon butter really topped this dish off well I feel. The eggs were cooked perfectly, with the a perfectly runny yolk and throughly cooked whites. The bacon was crispy and cooked nicely. Our seat was near the door and yet we found that we were necessarily disturbed by the incoming guests, so the seating arrangements were well designed. I did find it weird however that one waitress, when delivering food to a neighboring table went over my head. I almost thought she was going to drop the dish on my head. Overall, the morning rush was definitely present, however, I still found a wonderful experience here. Definitely recommend for breakfasts and lunches! read more

The hubs and I go there each week. Food is always good, coffee is perfect, and the service is always spot on! Our favorite server is Jessica, but all servers have been good. We've been coming for a few years now, my favorite breakfast is the pancakes and bacon and hubs usually has the Traditional. I wanted to like this place. I really did. However, I can't leave a positive review. The food was good, but no better than any other breakfast place. I literally could have (and probably should have) gone to Denny's for the exact same thing with better service. The only non-generic food on the menu was the lemon ricotta pancakes. The lemon curd was refreshing without being too lemony. If I go back, I will order that. That's a pretty big if. The most redeeming part of breakfast was the manager. He was kind and attentive. I'm going to start from the beginning. The waiter, Spencer, was in a rush. He seemed to want to get us in and out as quickly as possible. He has to get tips, right? We ordered bacon and eggs for my son to come out first. I don't think he understood because it came out with mine and my mom's food. He didn't give us much time before he came lurking over to us again for us to order. We ordered cokes which turned out to be Cherry Coke. However, he insisted that, "No they're cokes." Ok, so the cherry flavor is in our imagination? Our food was next. It was brought out by a different waitress. Then, came my son's bacon and eggs; which were cold. When I asked the waitress a clarifying question, she said "I don't know, I didn't take your order. I'll get your server" He came over And said, "I'm not sure, she ran my order before I could." Needless to say, we were frustrated. The whole time, Spencer was short and rude. He basically ignored us once speaking to the manager. We found out that, yes, they coke was actually cherry coke and the misunderstanding of the bacon and eggs was cleared. The manager brought a new receipt and we were good to go. Then, the waiter came to bring us a new one. I asked him to please not and he leaned over me and said, "This will make it cheaper." His tone was condescending and made me feel stupid. It seemed as if he was spread a little too thin and his patience wore thin as well. The table next to us shared a similar experience. If I do go back, I will be asked not to be seated in his section. Update: Finally had to cancel my order here and turns out they had to shut down Uber ordering for the time eventually, I believe - since drivers just kept leaving after getting tired of waiting there. The Sugarland location was able to get the order here in less than an hour even though they are farther away. Please just go there or order from them instead. Guys! This is the location by Aliana and NO, I do not recommend it. We came here before the rush, perks of a toddler who doesn't know what sleeping in is... But somehow our food still took about an hour. We ordered a kid's pancake, a waffle plate, and a quinoa bowl. All simple items. You'd expect perfection at this point but even with the delay, it all came out cold. The bacon that accompanied the pancake tasted stale and oily. The waffle plate did not align to its price point (seriously looked like this should have cost no more than $8) and the quinoa bowl was of course cold and super salty. Upon getting seated we were only given 2 sets of utensils for a table of 3. Even after asking several times for an extra set and more napkins, we were never given these. We had to use our own wipes from our diaper bag. As many establishments, service may have been spread thin but this is where management needs and should fill in to help. Honestly just having management walk and interact with customers would have done magic. The best part of this hostage situation (literally what it felt like) was when our server finally returned only to slide our check on the table and let us know "you just pay up front" - we waited so long for our food only to be rushed out... we finished to eat and gladly got up to pay so we could get out only to, wait for it guys..... face another long wait at the "front." The server failed to mention that the whole establishment was running off of 1 POS system. This meant that after we waited that long for our food, we had to wait in line again to pay. It was one long line consisting of people ordering and paying for take out on top of the people already lined up to pay after finishing their meals. Annoyed and dissatisfied with the situation, I asked for the manager to give him some feedback. And this is the reason why a 2 star rating dropped to 1, if I could give it a negative then I would. The manager did not make eye contact and had this "are you done?" demeanor to him. He even walked away when he thought I was finished speaking. On top of getting the staff situated, get the management some more training as well. Bottom line: Walked in here at 8:09am and walked out at 9:40am after waiting about an hour for food with minimal service, then getting handed our receipt before we were even finished eating only to wait in another long line to pay for our cold food. No, thank you. Hope they get it together for the sake of everyone else but we will not be supporting this establishment until it is under new management with better all around staffing. read more

The coffee creamer was spoiled but since we had a big pot of coffee we just poured another cup and got a new creamer. Problem solved. The usually great coffee was also a bit old but still drinkable.
