Started out with not having my reservation I should've known when I called on Thursday & asked for a table for two for Saturday and she said see you tomorrow. I just assumed she did not mean to say that so I didn't call back no heads up that there was a wedding so we had to sit outside we did not have a choice. Not happy about that. Potatoes do not taste like Greek potatoes. No spices, no lemon. Pork chop was dry. It came with two pork chops so I left the other one on my plate. Excellent food. Decent portion sizes. Takeout is a bit more limited than dine-in; so dine-in first and try something not on the takeout menu. After taking our orders, our waitress didn't provide us with adequate service. Brought us bottle of coffee, which turned out to be water. Tried getting her attention, she just kept talking with someone at the bar, and we were ignored for more than ten minutes. When food was brought out by a male server, it's quite confusing whether which is which..... By the time I got my bill, I was charged with tea and coffee which I only have coffee. Also, she didn't explain to us ( also not mentioned in the menu ) the 2 for me meal if we pick the soup and the salad will be extra charge. Should have let customer know what the extra charge will be. Charging $3.49 for a super tiny cup of worse than can soup??????? Anyway, won't be going back again. We went to First Watch on Sunday at 10:30 a.m on 10/08/23. The wait from ordering to receiving the meal was unacceptable. All meals for the six of us was delivered to the table cold, overcooked or inferior in some way. Not sure why this place has such great reviews. Went at 9:45 this morning, expecting chaos since it was a holiday, but was fairly empty. Even still, no server came to our table. Manager came to get our coffee, still no server came by. About 20 mins into us sitting there, a server (could have just been a host since she seemed timid) came and got our food order. I'm giving this place 2 stars because food was just meh. Nothing seemed to have any seasoning on it, not even salt or pepper. My Bacado omelet had almost no cheese and avocado looked like it was thrown on as an afterthought. Total bill for 2 coffees (just plain brewed coffee, nothing fancy) and an omelet and a frittata was almost $40 which seems excessive for what it was. I have been to this place three times. I gave it a good chance but there will be no more chances. Today was the worst of the three. We came in as a party of five. We were seated sooner than expected so Thought we were ahead of the game since my son had a flight to catch. Thanks to the waitress, that lead has disappeared.. I wish she had a name tag on, so I don't know her name. She has two skinny braids so that's really the only way to describe her. She came up to table and asked if we wanted coffee, poured two of the four and said she'd get another pot. I also asked for more sugar. She passed us up multiple times and nothing. She went to multiple tables and one table actually sat down after us and she took their order already. Meanwhile, no sugar, no coffee and no taking of our order. I'm saying this is like 15 minutes later. I keep looking over at her and noticed one of the bus girls looking at me as if she knew what was happening. She goes over to the waitress and talks to her . Moments later she finally comes over. My husband asks her for more coffee (that we should have gotten long time ago) and I ask her for sugar. I was shocked when she said, " I can get you coffee and sugar or take your order, but I can't do both at once." REALLY??!!!! How unprofessional is that??? She was the one who said she'd be right back with a new pot and never showed up . Now. It's our fault?!!! Then I told her my son has a flight to catch . She gives me a blank stare. She didn't care and yet she was the one making us late. Starts taking our order. When she gets to me I say two eggs over medium well and was surprised she didn't ask if wanted meat, or hashbrowns or fruit etc etc etc. You know how it is normally at restaurants. So I had to say and I'll have the wheat toast with NO butter. I didn't want meat anyway so I thought okay it will come with hashbrowns. They brought over literally just TWO EGGS WITH ONE PIECE OF TOAST AND BUTTER! Which I didn't want butter. Okay so I admit maybe I could have been clearer. But what about her?!?? I have always had waitress clarify, any meat? What kind of toast? You want the meal or Just two eggs. I mean seriously!!!! Worst experience have had in a long time! I will never be back. The second time we were there is was sloooooow too, but thought let's try again. Then this happens. I think you guys need to train your waitresses better . I am in a customer service position and I can tell you if I talked to a Customer like that I wouldn't have a job. What a shame!! Her attitude was terrible and uncalled for since she caused the problems. She is lucky she got any tip at all from us. I truly wanted to leave her zero. The worst part we had to pay a lot of coffee that we only had a full cup of each anyway. Save yourselves the trouble and go someplace else. I will say it is a nice looking restaurant. We come here every weekend because the food is amazing. We usually get the breakfast tacos and the Floridian french toast. The one big thing I am obsessed with is the Blackberry Brumble Sangaria. We usually sit at the bar and we have Jackie as our server. She is always pleasant and she makes us feel welcome. Christine one of the managers is always so nice and says hi when we are in there. Ellen and Jenya (sp?) know us because we come in a decent amount and they even come over and say hi to us. We never have felt more welcome. I would recommend this place to anyone. read more
