First visit to this location. We went in on a Saturday morning, and were seated immediately. The restaurant was clean, and the noise level was perfect. Not to sound boring, but I ordered the same thing that I always order: The Teifecta. The eggs were cooked over-medium as ordered. The Belgium waffle was light and fluffy. My husband ordered the same thing and his breakfast was the same. Our only complaint was our bacon was cooked a bit too much and was too crispy. However, we ate it all. I really had a good experience. The only reason 8 am not rating 5 stars is because our table was too small. It was two of us so rightfully we were seat in a two person table. Signed my name up for a table. Said the wait would be 30 mins. They sent me a text confirming my name on the list. After 40 mins, and the app showing I should be seated already, I went in to talk to them about my table. They said I had only been there 10 mins out of a 30 mins wait. I showed them the text stating the time I had put my name on the list. They said I would still have to wait. After another 15 mins I went back in and guess what my name was no where on the list. Had to demand a table outside since they obviously gave MY table away to someone else without verifying who that person was. Hostess was rude and cold, food took forever to come out, had to wait an additional 10 mins just to have the waitress greet us. I will not be returning to this location ever again. First watch is really good. They have classic breakfast items to please those who like to stick to what they know, and they have some modern versions of the classics for those who like to try new things. They also have a lot of healthy options. The atmosphere is pretty cool. read more

We have ate breakfast here a couple times, service was always ok, food was always good, but this visit really sucked,, we were seated in a well lit area,, but watched as 4 more tables came in,, all got drinks and coffee, orange juice ect,, one was even ordering there food, we must have been invisable,, and we will stay that way from now on. read more

Waited 1 hour to seat which is not terrible for a brunch place on a Sunday. After seating waited 30 minutes for someone to come ask us if we even wanted drinks. Another hour for our food (just avocado toast). Ok, serve wasn't good. We waited for 10 mins for the waitress to come and ask us what we wanted to drink. She came to the table asking us did we want coffee and did not have any water. We asked her for water and she took forever to come back to were we had to ask another waitress for water. And of course the order was messed up. Very disappointing. read more

My family and i flew in from out of town and decided to walk over from one of the surrounding hotels. The hostess informed us that there was a wait which we expected and said was fine but then she also said we weren't allowed to stay and wait inside. We explained that we didn't have a car to wait in and instead of trying to find a solution said we'll I can't allow you to stay in here and it's going to be like a 20 min wait and then preceded to just stare at us. So, we left. We walk down to a cute little coffee shop name Picassos down the road less than a 5 minute walk down the street and by the time we walk in I get a text saying our table is ready. I don't care for the decor at this location, being used to the Miamisburg, Ohio location, which is "bright and sunny". This one is rather gray. But! The food is still fantastic. Dining in is much better than carry out. I've ordered twice now from first watch and both were subpar. Most annoying is that I specifically said I want "real", preserves for my toast. Despite that request they still included the little packets that have a shelf life of one hundred years..... how hard is it to take the same jam you provided for dine in customers and place it in a carry out container? I went with a friend on a Saturday, we used the app for the waitlist. When we arrived there, we got our table in 10 mins (which is perfect!). On the other side.. the service was really bad. The server was nice when she took our order. But while we were waiting 45 mins (which is ridiculous) for our food, she didn't check on us... not even once! We tried calling her.. but she kept ignoring us. Finally after waiting long enough, we decided to get up and ask someone what was going on. After the food came, our server kept checking on us and tried to be nice. But she should have been nice while we waited. Anyways.. food was good, as always. Was here a little more than a week ago with a big family group,... about 16 people, lots of kids. We asked to be seated outside and got seated right away no wait. The service, despite being split across two servers, was excellent throughout. The food was delicious. Some of us had biscuits and gravy, some had one of the specials which was a calimex-skillet thing. Kids had pancake kids meals. Everyone was happy. It was packed inside, but the kitchen seemed to be on top of it because we got our food in a reasonable amount of time. Our servers were also very accommodating with how we split up the check. All in all a great choice for our family on the visit to see more family in the St. Charles area. read more

Currently my favorite place to eat in St. Charles for brunch! Their Project Sunshine coffee is amazing... I had to buy a bag of beans to take home with me. The restaurant is always clean, service is always prompt and friendly, and the food is always delicious. Besides their mouthwatering and health-focused menu, I like that they give back to the community and buy from local growers when they can.
