If a menu has a blueberry/blackberry paired with lemon on French toast that will be my first choice. This far exceeds ANY blueberry lemon French toast I have ever had. EVER. While the compote is blackberry, it was the perfect amount of sweet and tart. The lemon curd was whipped and custardy in texture. Not too rich, and the perfect amount dolloped on. The brown sugar/cinnamon crumbles on top gave a slight crunch - NO NEED for syrup. It was just sweet and tart enough that it could stand alone and be completely outstanding. There is not a comparable dish to this, and it has taken the new first place title of best blackberry/lemon French toast in Utah. It's a new favorite. Service was excellent, I came on a busy Sunday morning and was seated immediately. I ordered a dish to go for my partner and the waiter was great at checking in on me making sure to place that order at a time that made it ready when I had finished. The waiter was prompt and punctual, with a great attitude. There was a welcome diversity in staff, not often seen in Utah. They clearly are an establishment that supports inclusive and diverse hiring and it was such a pleasure to see. Big fan for a first time visit. Ambiance was mid volume but not so loud that you couldn't have a conversation. It was bustling and full of energy for a Sunday morning, really a fun and engaging spot. They are always insanely busy, but get you in amazingly quick. I love everything here. The staff is efficient and super friendly and work well with each other. The food is always fresh and hot and their combination of drinks for breakfast are so refreshing and delicious! They have plenty of seating with outdoor patio options as well and can handle a variety of parties. This particular location has lots of natural light with the wraparound windows and is decorated with a hometown, farm style feel. Great place to get excellent food and see friendly faces. read more

We stopped by First Watch in St. George over the holiday weekend and had a fantastic experience. The service was friendly and attentive, even with the holiday crowd. The seasonal menu had some unique and delicious options--highly recommend the Lavender French Toast, which was beautifully presented and full of flavor. The Million Dollar Bacon lived up to its name, and the breakfast tacos were a hit as well. Everything came out hot, and the warm syrup was a thoughtful touch. The coffee was excellent too--smooth, fresh, and kept flowing. Great spot for a relaxed and satisfying brunch. I was excited to hear they'll be opening in Salt Lake. Perfect place for a Sunday brunch in St. George UT! Really glad we stopped at First Watch on our way back to Vegas from Zion National Park. First of all, the portions were very generous. I went with the Pesto Chicken Quinoa Bowl and Steel Cut Oatmeal. Both were hardy and delicious. My son's face lit up with the kids Chocolate Chip Pancake arrived. It was huge! Wonderful place. Great service. Happy vibe. One weird thing. When we walked in, I noticed the manager staring at my water bottle. Then he said, in a very firm way, "Um, you can't bring that in here. No outside drinks!". I was shocked. I can't bring my water bottle in here? I bring it everywhere. He was adamant. Even though my hotel offers a free breakfast, I'd rather go to a local restaurant for breakfast than have cereal, waffles, or eggs from chafing dishes. I had searched Yelp and found First Watch and bookmarked it. I also noted its location as I passed on my way to Tuacahn the night before. I have watched this area grow and have seen a number of places come and go. First Watch was new to me. Less than a 10 minute drive from my hotel, I went there shortly after they opened. It was still somewhat dark because of the different time zones between Utah and Nevada. The first thing and important was I was brought coffee and a thermos for extra cups after I sat down. If you had told me I would get biscuits and gravy I would have laughed at you. However, when I read the description, I found it to be something quite different for me and I ordered it. The menu describes it as "freshly baked, housemade biscuits with savory turkey sausage gravy. Served with two fresh cage-free eggs any style and fresh, seasoned potatoes." I got my eggs sunny side up. The breakfast was a delight. The biscuits were very fresh and the turkey sausage gravy was quite good. The eggs were cooked just right and the breakfast potatoes finished off what turned out to be a good start to my day. First Watch delivered and I was on my way for a brief stop at the hotel and then back to Las Vegas! read more

The seasonal menus make this a must stop place in St.George, but be warned if you sleep in or go in on the weekends it gets packed. The quiet brunch spot turns into a hot commodity, busy, line wrapped around the building five star stop. It's worth the wait. It's juices are trendy, but delicious. Locals rave about the fresh squeezed juice and all you can drink coffee. If you can handle turmeric the Morning Meditation is a game changer. My husband loves their iced coffee. We are working our way through trying everything on the delivery menu, we are about halfway and have no complaints. Too 3 are probably the carrot cake pancake (it's huge!), the quinoa power bowl & French toast. I'm dying for a morning away from the kids so I can try to Harvest Specials. A really delicious breakfast joint. They have a huge variety of things to order on the menu, but also all the age-old classics we expect a breakfast place to have. I ordered the "trifecta" which included either a Belgian waffle or a multigrain pancake, eggs, and either sausage or bacon. I chose the bacon (done chewy, just how I like it), scrambled eggs, and a carrot cake pancake (one of the multigrain options). I ate EVERY bite of my food. My sister and her husband brought their 3 kids, and her oldest son said it was "the best breakfast of my life!" Highly recommend! I place to visit every time you're in St. George. read more

First watch is definitely a spot to go because of the fresh and yummy dishes and juices they whip up. The ambiance is modern and cozy. The service started off great but due to the fact that they were busy, it flopped and took away from the service and quality of the food. By the time everything came out, it was room temperature and not as delightful as one would've wanted. We had to get up to get our own syrup because the server nor wait staff who dropped off the items took the time to get it and we both had waffles and pancakes. Loved the decor in this restaurant and the service was great! This restaurant was busy when we went on a Monday morning, but we only waited about 15 mins to be seated. We ordered the -Farmhouse Skillet Hash: this was a simple hash with potatoes, onion, avocado, tomato, and cheese. It was good and well out together -the Elevated Egg Sandwich: this brioche bun, with arugula, eggs, bacon, gruyere cheese, mayo and lemon dressing. This was delicious and probably our fave. It's the perfect combination for an egg sandwich and the arugula topped it off perfectly! -Lemon Ricotta Pancakes: it's warned in the menu that the pancakes are huge and we definitely should have listened because it was too much food for us. They were good but be warned pancake orders are huge! I would recommend coming here if you are ever in St. George Utah if you are looking for a cute brunch spot. read more

Walked in with a party of 9, 6 adults and 3 babies. Was told immediately that they don't seat parties bigger than 6...on the weekends...ok, weird but the babies can sit on laps. We then get seated in 2 booths back to back, and a party of 7 sits next to us at a table...then another part even bigger sat at tables next to that and next to each other. Host was a complete jerk and absolutely facetious, condescending and flat out rude. This place is a JOKE!!! The *only* thing saving it was their kind server. The *only* thing worse than the host was the breakfast. Dry and flavorless. You're a restaurant in UT and can't seat more than 6 and can't make pancakes...Lolz. read more

So yummy!! This place has the most amazing "million-dollar bacon" which is perfectly balanced between sweet and crunchy. Highly recommend it if you like bacon. Came here with a big group of 8 and they were so fast and kind. Loved the hostess and our waiter. They all definitely followed the social distancing measures too which was reassuring. We drove there on our way back to Vegas from Zion and don't regret the stop. Much needed food break. Boyfriend and I ordered and split the Million Dollar Bacon, The Works Omelet, and Smoked Salmon Eggs Benedict. I love salad, and the omelet came with a cute little side salad on the plate. We came in, put our name down for 3, they said 15 minutes, BOOM-we were sitting in at 15 minutes. Then we sit and wait...and we wait, and we wait, someone says "I'll be right with you", and then we wait some more . After a little over 15 minutes, someone appears, takes our food and drink order, and we wait some more! Thank goodness the FOOD WAS AMAZING! Delicious enough to the point where you will forget you've waited maybe 45+ minutes in all. THE PLACE: SUPER CUTE ON THE INSIDE. PARKING IS AVAILABLE WITHOUT ANY PROBLEM. If you have a tesla, bring it on down as there is a charging station nearby. THE SERVICE: Started off a bit with a hiccup as I honestly feel as though we were forgotten or ignored. Worst experience. They wouldn't accommodate to our whole family of 14. They made us all sit outside and talked shit about us in front of us while they were deciding where to seat us. They made us feel so uncomfortable. The whole staff does not smile and they are not warm and inviting. Our waitress acted like she had a stick up her ass and we were a burden to her. Stopped by here on the way back up to Salt Lake and this did not disappoint. We had to wait a moment to get seated, but it was sooooooo delicious. Staff was lovely. Food came out prompt. It's a very simple interior, but didn't feel too cramped. I got the pumpkin pancake because I'm a sucker for seasonal offerings, and as someone who is not a big pumpkin fan, this was legitimately one of the most delicious pumpkin things I've tasted. Just perfectly spiced and cozy. And massive. Like 12" in diameter. Do not worry about it being a singular pancake. Breakfast tacos were fun and delicious. Like a perfect brunch food. Ordered this drink that I can't remember the name of, but it had turmeric in it, and I think it healed my stomach while also tasting delicious. I don't say that lightly. I felt FANTASTIC after eating here, everything was tasty, gorgeous, warm and just made you feel good. And to me, there's nothing more important after eating out than just feeling satisfied. read more
