Our waitress was a sweetheart but my husband ordered an omelet that was supposed to have chorizo and stuff. It was half empty. Way too little ingredients for the price. And it's was just ok. I ordered the special barrbicoaquesadillas special. They cannot make poavhed eggs. I specifically said do not over cook the yolks but make sure the whites are hard. I had a feeling. It's a chain restaurant. I won't be back. Now waiting to replace the order. My husband has been done with his meal for quite some time. It's been far too long. Coffee is just ok. Hello I went to First Watch for the second time. This time I came with my wife who was skeptical. We both placed our orders and when the food came out before the waitress left our table, I noticed green sauce smudges on my plate. No big deal, the waitress thought it might be an avocado sauce... but nothing I ordered had any of that type of sauce or anything like that. I had scrambled eggs, chicken sausage and a waffle. So she took my plate and I thought she was doing to remake my order until she came back in 2 minutes and I asked did they remake the order and she said no, "they just transferred the food to a clean plate". I was livid, and told her I don't eat food that was once on a dirty plate and asked to speak to a manager. The waitress, whose name I believe was Becky or something like that went to get the manager and remake my meal. I always get nervous when I have to send food back. The waitress returns and says the manager is busy cooking and can't come see me, for about 15-20 minutes. I say just cancel my order. My wife finished her food and enjoyed it. The waitress did not charge us, but I am still upset that this happened period and the manager could not even come out to address us. He never showed after waiting more than 20 minutes. So our first choice for breakfast was closed so we went here. Healthy choice based menu, outstanding food. When we were there the dining room was mostly empty but the carry out desk never slowed. I had eggs (free range) potatoes and turkey sausage gravy and biscuits-what a great biscuit. The wife had blueberry pancakes, she loved them. She ordered two but they are huge and she could only eat one. They have a juice bar but we didn't try, the downside was the coffee. This is really a review of two visits. Last week we order to-go food at the counter and it was pretty good except for the fact that they never handed me my bag and I sat there for about 15 minutes as they placed it on the door dash shelf. Calling in a to-go order is not an option and the prices weren't the same in the restaurant as the website. This week we ordered the same order but did not get the same thing as last week. One sandwich was missing the condiment, the Chicken Avocado Chop Salad had no chicken and there was something off about the tomato soup. One bowl was barely half full. Nor was the food the same as listed on the menu. My Market Veggie sandwich had lettuce, not spinach, but it was still good. And then they did the same thing again where they put my order on the doordash shelf, but luckily I was paying attention. I'll definitely be back. The food and the atmosphere was great. It was clear each thing was cooked to order. I had the Chikichanga, and it was really tasty. My boyfriend had the Pumpkin Pancakes and they were very good. Tasted like pumpkin without being cloying. Also, try the million-dollar bacon. It's killer. Sadly, my food was a little cold when it came out, but it was still very tasty. I do wish the server had made it clear that when we got the check we needed to pay at the door. It was a busy morning, and I would have loved to have made sure that they got a chance to turn that table faster. She dropped the check off and we didn't see her again for 20 minutes. I had carrot juice with my FARMHOUSE HASH breakfast and it was a very pleasant surprise, very tasty-good carrot juice. I had energy all day after eating the FARMHOUSE HASH. I don't plan on returning. Took forever to be seated, took forever for our order to be taken. People that came in after us got their food first. I ordered the half club sandwich and half salad, it had chicken and pecans, the salad was absolutely disgusting. The pecan, bacon and dressing was a warm gloppy mess, way too salty. I ate the few pieces of chicken and tried scraping everything else off. The sandwich tasted primarily of mayonnaise. They forgot the cheese but it looked gross on my mom's sandwich so I wasn't upset. The avocado looked absolutely awful. Our waitress had an attitude, it seemed like she didn't want to be there, and she couldn't remember who ordered what at the table. My son had a chocolate chip pancake and the chocolate chips were bitter, he wouldn't eat it and I don't blame him. Way way too noisy in the restaurant, it wasn't that busy but I could barely hear my mom sitting across from me! Will not return. read more

I love first watch. It is my favorite place to eat breakfast, I sadly will not return to this location, I normally only go to Shelby, but I was in the area so stopped here. I ordered my juice which took an abnormally long time to get to the table. I ordered my usual, the farmhouse skillet and it tasted off, like they added a ton of salt? It was overwhelming the amount of scrambled eggs they put on top as well. They did not put any avacados either, not sure what is up with this location.. but they are definitely slacking. We ordered sourdough bread and received multigrain on our sandwiches. Server dropped my toast on the table and didn't bother to get me new toast. I go to the one on Hayes rd. They are amazing. Super friendly staff. Most of all their meals are FRESH and sooooo tasty! Cocktails are delicious as well. I've not yet had a bad experience here. They have an interesting menu with today's popular items: avocado toast, superfoods, ricotta pancakes etc. My husband went for a classic eggs, sausage, potatoes and toast. He enjoyed it - sausage was a bit spicy and the potatoes included onions (which he doesn't like). I went fir the AM superfood bowl which was coconut chai seed pudding with fresh fruit and a piece of multigrain toast with almond butter. I really liked it but would skip the almond butter next time - too thick and I had to take a big drink after every bite. read more

So I decided to try First Watch for a DoorDash breakfast. Right off the bat I saw the menu was kind of strange. Not bad per se, just not what I was expecting. I ordered the trifecta- scrambled eggs, turkey sausage, potatoes and a Belgian waffle. The waffle: absolutely delicious! I'd order that again in a heartbeat! The Turkey sausage: eh not very tasty (needed seasoning) and visually unappealing but edible. For what it is it was just ok. Potatoes: burnt, dry and flavorless. Would definitely skip them. Scrambled eggs: nice presentation but lacking in flavor. They were cooked perfect though (not runny or over done) next time I'll pay extra to add cheese I think that will make them delicious. Overall if you're used to eating natural and organic (I am) then First Watch is a great choice. If you're not into organic you might not love this place. First Watch isn't cheap though. Expect to pay a premium. But you're getting quality food so it's justified to me. read more
