However I'll give two extra stars just because someone reached out. I'm not sure if these reviews are legitimate or some of these people have never eaten seasoned food. I went there once never went back. First we unfortunately had to be served by an obnoxious loud flamboyant guy. Strike one... We waited I kid you not 15 mins for scrambled eggs. Strike 2... (That day you could feel the disorganization). Do they season the food? The pancakes omg tasted like dough... When I told the waiter, "hey is it possible to get another batch taste like dough." The server replied, "it's flour." It's obviously undercooked... LOL Anyways I rather make my own breakfast at home properly seasoned. read more

One word. YUMMY! This is not your typical daytime diner! There are healthy choices and some classics as well. We started with juices, mine was the Spring Hydrate- pineapple, English cucumber, coconut water and lemon. His was the Kale Tonic- kale, English cucumber, Fuji apple and lemon. So healthy and delicious! Then we had basted eggs and Avocado Toast, it was so fresh with just the right amount of sea salt and lemon on the side. (I tried some of the grilled lemon on my eggs and it was so good!) To top it all off (and mostly because we both have major sweet tooth) we had the Lemon Ricotta Pancakes- pancakes with ricotta whipped into the batter, with strawberries and lemon custard on top. They were the fluffiest pancakes that I have ever had! They weren't too sweet or too filling! I like that you can see straight into the kitchen here too! Probably the best place in the world for breakfast. The food is 10 fold better than ihop or dennys. Always tastes fresh and clean. When I say clean, I mean it doesn't taste greasy or oily. Even the appearance of the food is exceptional. It almost looks photographic. The wait for seating is excessively long. There's nothing they can do. There's that much of a demand to eat there and only so many seats. And people will still wait. So I avoid the wait and I get take out instead. The staff has always been fantastic and all of my orders have been on time and accurate. read more

Went to first watch this morning and was amazed by the friendly staff and short wait. My server's name Was Alyssa and she helped me with the menu options. Very friendly staff and very fresh food. I will definitely come back. I had the egg Frittata Rustica and coffee which by the way, was really good! My sister had whole grain pancakes which were delicious. My sister brought me to first watch (the one on capital) for the first time a couple years ago and can say it's been by brunch "goto" since. I love the food but the service is mad wack. My fiancé and I were treated poorly. And it was obvious a race issue. The customer service was rude. The lady at the front automatically assumed we were there for a doordash or Uber order and she didn't greet us like the people behind us. I wouldn't refer anyone to go to this location. We've tried going here after church on Sundays, but the wait is always too long. So we decided to go for a brunch celebration after my son's elementary graduation. It was during the week -- so no wait! But still somewhat busy. We ordered the Bacado, Elevated Egg Sandwich, plus Banana Granola Crunch Pancakes. The pancakes were the best...and big! Went to the trooper road location this past saturday and was very disappointed. I ordered the traditional breakfast. 2 eggs, artisan toast bacon and potatoes. it was in no way- any shape or form TWO eggs! Miniscule little pile of supposedly scrambled eggs. One at the most. And they were stirred- scrambled eggs are scrambled before they are cooked! Then they should be folded and chopped- these were little pea sized pieces you had to chase around the plate. I am allergic to strawberries and told the waittress please do not put them on the plate. They were on the plate. A TRADITIONAL breakfast comes with two slices of toast. There was only one cut in half and not even from the same slice of bread. The potatoes were good and it was a normal portion. The bacon was so-so and I could have less of that and another slice of toast. Coffee was 2.89 and not that great- very bitter. $14.50 for half a breakfast at a tooooo crowded table - 2 seater - no, I will not be going back. A lot needs to be fixed. read more

First watch says no refund would be issued! Restaurant said order ready! would call another dasher to get me my food and they would call me back! First watch never called me back! First time I went to First watch the wait was outrageous but my meal was well worth the wait ... the advocado toast is so good! However, I was disappointed with my second visit. I ordered the carrot cake pecan pancake and I got a pancake with no pecans with an excessive amount of raisins. I selected this meal specifically because I love pancakes with pecans so I was extremely disappointed that there were none :-( read more

This location has really gone downhill. There used to be such care taken to make sure everything was perfect. Now I think I could get a better meal at the 7-Eleven. I ordered the avocado smash. The avocado was old and there was gray in it. It was barely smashed. The "toast" was barely browned - it was Just bread. I ordered fruit instead of the eggs. I received at least four or five grapes that were shriveled up old and sour. Who is in charge of quality control here ?? Yuck ! Not worth the 9.99. The last time I visited the first watch was amazing! At first, my friend and I were a little iffy about it because it got busy really quickly and it took a while to get served but once the servers realized they made sure to treat us with extra care and we even got extra food for free as an apology. The customer service is outstanding, they made sure to take the necessary precautions for covid, and the food was excellent. read more

Terrible management! Terrible! We got there around 915 am. We were told 15-20 minute wait. Sat down after 20 minutes which was great. However we waited 45 minutes for a kids waffle and bacon and then an additional 30 minutes for our food. Our waitress was very apologetic. This restaurant has no manger present to our knowledge. While we waited for our food they had over 30 to go orders put in. All together the food was good, server was stretched thin but very sweet, and they need to take care of inside guest and cut down on the to go orders. read more

Love this place. The food is delicious and I love how they are trying to put out a product that is healthier, yet tastier, than what most other places are doing. The only downfall is the wait, but it is a good sign since many people are willing to wait for the great food. Service is usually very good and our orders come out as ordered. I had been here once before and it was great!! I was excited to return, but today I was a bit disappointed as I didn't have the greatest experience. My waitress was pretty inattentive and not very cheerful (the wrong side was delivered with my dish and when I asked for it to be corrected there was no apology, she just went and grabbed it from the kitchen and plunked it down in front of me). AND there was a bug in my coffee (it came out of the carafe they leave on the table for refills)! When I paid I brought it to the attention of the hostesses they were apologetic but didn't really offer any fix. One actually joked it was "protein", which is ok, I certainly appreciate a sense of humor, but I was kind of grossed out. Perhaps I should have made more of a fuss. A sandwich that could have been delicious, by letting the natural ingredients shine through, was turned into a hot, greasy mess. The roasted tomato was not "roasted." It had been put on a griddle, and sauteed in oil. The bread was oily, the so-called lemon dressed greens tasted more like oil than lemon, and the "horseradish" was a glob of mayonnaise, disguised with a vaguely horseradish flavor. For a restaurant with supposedly healthy choices, they missed the mark. I thoroughly washed my hands and face, after leaving half the sandwich on the plate, because I smelled like cooking grease. This breakfast place is a hidden gem!! The coffee, service and food are all great! Honestly anything on the menu is good, I'm a stickler about how an egg is cooked and they always get it right! I've had something different every time and my favorites were the millionaires bacon(worth every penny!!!), cinnamon waffles with cream cheese frosting drizzle with cinnamon syrup, Southwest style hash skillet with a fried egg and the lemon ricotta pancakes.
