The food is very good, but the wait time for your food to arrive is very disappointing. Typical wait from the time your order is taken for your meal to arrive is 35+ minutes. My breakfast was incorrect and brought out to the table 30 minutes after the rest of the group. The kitchen has no idea what it is doing. I tried first watch for the first time today. I ordered the Chicken Salad and Tomato basil soup. I couldn't be more disappointed. The chicken salad makes a gritty sound when I chew it like it has sand in it. The tomato basil is burnt. The banana crunch and blueberry are delicious and my fav (they are huge) they also have great options for lunch. Love this place! I'm so glad I decided to try it (make sure you go early on the weekend, you will find a big crowd waiting) but I must say it was worth the wait. My first time I had the Parma hash (without Italian sausage and egg whites only) and it was delicious! Since then that has been my favorite. The pancakes are fluffy and yummy, tomato basil soup is also great and my brother really enjoyed the turkey sandwich. I'm picky when it comes to seasoning and First Watch nails it with every dish, no complaints at all. I also don't eat meat so I'm glad they have plenty of options to choose from in their menu. The servers are really nice too! Which so early in the day it's quite refreshing... Overall delicious quality food you won't regret to try it. Very disappointed. I went to the Naples location across from the beach. I had the roast beef and havarti sandwich a couple years ago and it was absolutely delicious as I also described it as the best sandwich I ever had. I even started making it at home. So yesterday my friend took me out for my Birthday and I ordered that same sandwich again. First it looked nothing like the photo on their online menu. Second I questioned if it was roast beef as it was a light tan color like pork. Third no tomatoes on the sandwich. Forth no horseradish sauce. Fifth they brought the wrong sandwich and had to wait another 15 minutes to receive the worst sandwich I ever had and another 5 minutes to get horseradish sauce. Sixth the sandwich was barely grilled put had grilled cheese on top of the sourdough bread. My 1st grilled cheese sandwich I made as a teen looked much better than what this restaurant served me. Seventh the havarti cheese was a yellow orange. Maybe it comes like that but it's always white when I buy it in the grocery store. I can't believe they served me something like that that my friend payed for as a birthday present. I said I would never go back. Then she gives me a birthday card with a First Watch gift card. We loved this place from the time they took our name and said they would text us when our table was ready! We were quoted 35-40 minutes but got seated in 20. The menu is overwhelming with all the delicious looking choices, but we went for the Strawberry Cheesecake Stuffed French toast and the Chilaquiles. Both were on the specials menu for Spring. The coffee was fresh, tasty, and placed on the table in your own pot. There are also flavored creamers and sugar in the raw. The food came quickly and tasted incredible. My French toast was perfect and topped with fresh strawberries. My husband enjoyed his meal as well. Highly recommend this place. The omelets my wife and I had while visiting the area recently were dry and bland, despite the numerous ingredients that they included, including sour cream (that turned out to be, at most, a teaspoon of sour cream plopped down on top of the omelets). I just came back from my first visit. I will go back again. It was delicious! And there are many things I want to try. On the constructive criticism side - I got the Huevos Rancheros. Very tasty and balanced. Here's what was not so good - the avocado was cold. Which is okay, but when you put hot food (chorizo, egg) on top of something that has just come out of a refrigerator, it lowers the temp of the hot items. While it was warm, it wasn't the correct temperature. My side of slaw was missing. Our very able server told me that they were making more and that she would bring it out as soon as she could. Not a problem at all, I promise. Well, they didn't really start making it until I had finished my meal, so she comped that part of the meal. Hey, things happen when you deal with humans. Like I said, I'll go back. But it feels like the place is run by those who haven't had a lot of restaurant experience. Again, that's okay. Everyone has to start from the beginning in something. But put some plans in place to review details. Those details matter. I want you to be successful. Looking forward to my next visit! read more

The entire restaurant looks squeaky clean which is a plus because the shopping plaza it is located looks sort of ragged and poor. This was our second time here and food is good but hostess was very rude..we went with our 11 month old baby who was just excited to see everything on table and was being vocal about it..she was not screaming and it lasted for just 2 mins and hostess came over and made a specific comment how she was being loud...clearly she didn't have any experience with babies. As a vegan who makes green juice FRESH every morning, I know what real juice tastes and looks like. Their juices are absolutely from a bottle, way too sweet. I went to this location twice in a week very recently- first with a friend and then again on my own. I will not visit this location again. I had patronized many First Watch locations in the St. Louis, Mo area where I previously lived and the service as well as the food was always wonderful. Therefore, when a friend of mine suggested we order breakfast from this First Watch location, I didn't hesitate to say okay. We ordered for carry out and brought it back to his house to eat. When he looked at his scrambled eggs they were burnt and I don't mean just a bit! I was surprised because how do you burn eggs that badly and still serve them!! He wasn't happy but since he was so hungry he picked out the really burnt pieces and ate the rest. I asked him if he wanted to call the location and he said no because it had never happened to him before so I let it go since my meal was fine. A few days later (Sunday, 10/20) when I wanted breakfast I called this location and ordered for carry out just for myself. When I arrived to pick it up the place was very busy and I gave them my name for my order. The man at the front desk/ cashier area grabbed my order, read the receipt of what I ordered (which I said was accurate) and I paid. When I got back to my place, I started to open the containers to see that it was the completely wrong order! I looked at the receipt in the bag and it was not my order. So I called the restaurant and told them I was given and paid for someone else's order. The woman told me that they had discovered this after I left. So I could come back and get my correct order. Then she asked me was I coming back to get it? Umm, how else would I get my correct breakfast unless they were going to deliver! To make matters worse, when I got out of my car, the bag broke- it seems the grits in this incorrect order had leaked through the paper bag and onto my passenger car seat! Omg! Seriously?!? Now, I'm really not happy! I go back in and sit their bag on the floor behind the counter because it's still leaking. The same man who handed me the wrong order, who I'm assuming was some sort of manager, starts to apologize. Okay that's fine... I've been in a manager in retail and you most definitely should apologize in a case like this and compensate the customer for your mistake. This guy (mgr) tells me that he reversed the charges on my card for the meal (incorrect meal) that I paid for. So I told him thank you and that he should because not only had I been inconvenienced but there was leak and the grits got on my car seat! He also hands me some buy one get one free meal card...like I would buy another meal there after the last 2 experiences? I think not! The last comment I have I that guy was a liar because he never reversed the charge on my card! It's been 3 days- it doesn't take that long to show up. He just said that crap because there were a lobby full of customers and he wanted to make the place sound good. How freaking ridiculous! Moral of the story: always check your order before you leave the premises and do not visit this location. read more

Plenty of choices so you never have to get the same thing twice but sometimes you will just because it was so darn good. The crimini mushrooms are insanely delicious. Service is great although the wait times are usually hefty. Took my daughter out for breakfast, didn't know the EGG and I had been purchased.We arrived around 8:00 on a Monday hardly any one there and we're seated right away.My daughter has an egg allergy and ordered pancakes I ordered bacon and eggs, soon after ordering the waitress came back and told us it would be an hour before they could make the pancakes, leaving very few things she could order, ended up getting avocado toast.Our breakfast didn't take long to arrive and when I finally took a bite of bacon it was ice cold just like my plate.Our waitress was nice and friendly, she gave us a discount.The coffee and hot tea were 3.00 dollars each and not worth the price.With the discount, breakfast was 25.00 and tip for waitress made it around 30.00.I won't be back. read more
