The food here was absolutely amazing! The coffee was great and the juice was amazing. First off the menu had great options but didn't over complicate anything. When you walk in it was very clean and smelled amazing! The staff was awesome and servers that weren't even ours were telling saying "hey!" as they passed our table. My plate was the Parm Hash and it was completely on point. Their multigrain bread as well as jam was so much more than just the regular toast that you get on the side of your breakfast at any other place of been. My daughter is 1 1/2 years old and got the kids crepe that was filled with banana and pineapple and topped with strawberry yogurt. I was worried that it would be a little weird tasting but was proven wrong when I tasted it! It made me wish I had gotten one too! The granola on the side that went with her crepe was so good and original that we are going to buy a bag the next time we go! I look forward to making this place a weekly stop! This time we both tried the Carbona(?) which was basically Eggs Benedict with parmesan cream sauce. Even though we told them hard poached, on EACH of our order we had 1 egg that was correct, hard poached and the 2nd egg was gross and runny. The white was even gooey. Now how in the world can that possibly happen?? The thick cut bacon was full of disgusting fat. Will never get that dish again. Management, can you please teach the cooks how to hard poach. We waited over an hour and never even got the "million dollar bacon" which was just four strips of bacon with a sauce. We were excited to try the food but we were too hungry to keep waiting any longer. Other people's looked good, but they too were so hungry from waiting so long that they looked angry and annoyed while trying to enjoy their meal. The decor was nice. read more

I've been here a handful of times and generally good food and good service. This morning was an exception and not in a good way. We each got Bacado omelettes and they were barely filled with the items that should be in it. Very skimpy vs. previous visits. The potatoes were not fully cooked and didn't taste very good. The bread was barely buttered. The water had a terrible taste. They tried to charge me for 3 omelettes instead of 2. By the time we left, wished we had gone somewhere else. I'm hoping this is not a trend for this First Watch location or I will need to find another breakfast spot. read more

Mediocre food, got my order and my husband's order wrong, and service was horrible and we were there on a Sunday morning BEFORE it gets busy with people coming from church. I can't imagine what it's like when it's busy! I have been to other locations and their food was on point and service was pretty good. Brought my husband here because we are still looking for "our" breakfast spot close to home. They cooked his eggs wrong, brought him a different kind of sausage than he ordered, and we sat for about 15 minutes waiting for someone to refill his drink. I was brought the wrong dish initially and really wish I'd kept it because then they gave me the correct dish but my greens didn't have dressing and were kinda wilted and tasted old. I normally love their million dollar bacon but somehow they screwed that up too (one piece was caked in pepper and the others lacked any flavor other than the maple syrup). They were training several people and they got orders wrong at two other tables while we were sitting there. The staff just seems disorganized and the kitchen confused and even though our server was nice, and the decor is nice, I'd just like it if my order was right, our food was the quality that I know it can be, and our service was better... I typically have pretty low expectations for most places and like to give positive reviews, but this place just didn't even meet those low expectations read more

Only orders bacon , egg & cheese and you would think since I didn't want chicken or chorizo they would give me extra bacon egg and cheese but these were just little sad tacos with a scoop of food on them for $10. This is one of my favorite places to eat breakfast and I stopped at this location to pick up some breakfast, and one of the employees/ possibly even the manager approached me in a rude way. The female employee told me my order wasn't ready so I can go and sit down because I was "too early". Her attitude towards was disrespectful and not only that, she was lounging over the counter which doesn't give a good representation of a respectable food place. Sunday morning breakfast in our area can be busy, and last Sunday morning is was at First Watch. However, they handled it beautifully, and it was an amazing breakfast. Our first time, and we were both extremely impressed. Anything anyone could want was on that menu. I played it safe and got one of their traditional selections (Waffle, eggs, bacon), hubs got Barbacoa tacos. Both were great. Next time I am going to be more daring...everything looked so good. Thanks. It was so nice having someone else cook a full breakfast for me....hadn't had that in decades (and it was as good as mine with no clean up!). A real treat since breakfast is my favorite meal of the day. read more

My wife and daughter wanted breakfast and both raves about First Watch, so we stopped in recently. This was our first time at this one in Tomball. The ladies talk about their Lemon Ricotta Pancakes (which they ordered) and I opted for the "Works" Omelette with a side of bacon. Unfortunately, the pancakes were overdone (almost black on hidden side) and the bacon was so rare it was limp. My omelette was ok, but we sent the bacon back and they ultimately removed it from our bill since we didn't care to wait any longer upon finishing our breakfast. I'll give them another chance; it might have been a bad day, but my wife and daughter were not pleased since they know how good those pancakes have been at the other locations where they they've always ordered them. read more

Loved the Egg and I. Very disappointed in the Tomball location. Took over 6 minutes for a waitress to come to table. Was told "short staff". Very few patrons in restaurant. You had your best waitress on hostess duty. Tomball location no comparison to Louetta. read more

Greeted at door was awesome. Server was at our table 4 times - ask if we wanted coffee; give us our drinks and give me an extra cup of ice (after 10 mins) and pick up plates. She checked on her other tables 5 times after they received their food and never even looked or Checked on us while we were there. Never asked if we needed more tea. But she was cheerful to say goodbye. We had our food 5 mins and another person delivers the check to us and puts it on the table like they were ready for us to leave. I had to get him to get me more tea. He delivered it and not the server. Food is subpar to Egg & I. Only have this honey/syrup coated bacon that tastes more like a dessert than a breakfast item. The grits was underseasoned. We did not tip because other tham take me order and say goodbye the server did nothing to warrant a tip. We will not be returning. Terrible service, My Husband and I were seated at a community table when we asked for booth or table for two (plenty available). We waited for water with our coffee for a minimum of 20 minutes. We could clearly see the staff attending to others efficiently. When the manager came over we stressed our discomfort with the situation and left paying only for the coffee. Maybe if we looked different we would be served in the same manner as the other patrons. read more
