I have been here many times and found the food to be OK. But this was the best visit yet. The waitress was very pleasant and attentive. My wife and I have been going here for years and bringing our kids the majority if the time. Super fast service, healthy food and the wait staff as it has changed has never hired someone we did not like! First Watch has great food but... the service today was terrible!!! When we first sat down she asked us our order but we did not get a chance to even look at the menu! We asked if she could come back and she came back ten minutes later and then did not write down our order. Then we got our food I ordered a coffee and it did not come and normally coffee comes before your meal. She finally got our coffee at the end of the meal then forgot the to go cup! We had to ask another waiter who then brought our to go cup to us immediately! Also she never took our check and also never made it clear WE had to turn it in! We go here every few months when we don't feel like making breakfast on the weekends. I was just here a few days ago and had my favorite dish which is the fresh fruit crepes. They are always keeping the pace moving despite being busy on the weekends. The service is always fast and pleasant. Sometimes we call and order take out and they do a speedy and quality job with our to go orders. I like the variety of healthy dishes and also traditional breakfast dishes! read more

I revisited this restaurant with my mom. We both chose the Traditional Breakfast. I had it with bacon and my mom had turkey sausage. We both had coffee. The Breakfast was good. I also wanted to try a slice of their french toast. The waiter told me that it would cost an additional 2.49 for one slice. I passed since i could get an entire loaf for the same price. There was ample food so it was filling. The cost was $22 both of us which I thought was a bit pricey. We did have a gift card. I would go again and try lunch. read more

Gave them my name and got on the waiting list for a table for 2. Told it would be about a 15-20 minute wait. 25 minutes later, saw a party of 3 that came in after us get seated. Inquired and was told it would be another 20 minutes. Pointed out we'd been told 20 minutes almost half an hour ago; was then told "It's always about a 45 minute wait on Sundays." Over the next 15 minutes, we watched them seat two more parties of 2 that had just walked in the door. After a total of 45 minutes, we (and others) were still waiting. Asked again, and employee took a very dismissive tone. Said the others had booked tables using the First Watch app "probably while in the car on the way here" and so were guaranteed immediate seating. (In other words, every time someone with the app walked in the door we were pushed to the back of the line again.) Rudely blamed us for not having used the app, which we had not even known existed and which was never once mentioned to us during our wait. Never told us that people would not be seated in the order they arrived and that our "20 minute wait" could stretch out indefinitely. No real apology given (just a cursory, "sorry"), no offer to seat us next, not even an offer of a beverage while we waited. First Watch made it clear they didn't care whether we were there or not. So long, First Watch. You and your stupid seating policy are dead to us. read more

Food is decent but the coffee is putrid. Service is generally OK with occasional mistakes. Usually about a 20 min. wait and the waiting area is always a trainwreck as is doubles as where the line forms to pay. Considering this place is a national chain it certainly could be worse. The menu choices always look and sound so much better than they actually are. I feel They are a bit pricey for what you get and the service isn't stellar. Food is often like warm and no one really checks back if you need drink refills, etc. Every time I go, I'm a bit disappointed. Friendly service with a good selection of healthy options. We dined here for the first time last weekend on a Saturday morning for breakfast, right after they opened, so there were only a few other tables seated. Of note - this is a restaurant chain (with 100 or so locations across the US) which I didn't realize until after we finished eating. The ambiance was somewhat generic-feeling (but definitely a step up from other chain diners that I am familiar with), but very clean. We were immediately greeted and seated. The waitresses were attentive and friendly. The coffee cups were always hot and full. The menu is large - it provided plenty of options for the healthy, and not so healthy breakfast. We ordered some of both - an egg white omelette and some pumpkin pancakes. Both were very good, fresh, and arrived quickly. Recap - clean restaurant, friendly service, healthy options, good food, open early for breakfast. Overall we thought the restaurant was very good, and we will be back soon. read more

I love love love First Watch. I went today for Sunday brunch to catch up with a friend. I understand that they had a heavy flow of people coming in, but for some reason I felt very rushed today. This has never happened before which is why I am disappointed :( We get the hint, you come around once or twice and ask if we are ok, that's your way of saying we need to leave. But then the waiter took our water pitcher away...Well ok then. I look at FW as a place to have coffee and pancakes and conversation. This time was different. I've been there on a Sunday before and never felt rushed out. I will probably come back, but I was definitely not happy with today's experience. Courteous and great staff who serves you with a smile. The food is excellent and the ability to order food to your specific needs really helps especially for those on a strict diet. i just found out about a site that gives complete food inspection reports in cuyhoga county= cuy. cty. board of health. i used to eat here but never again. they are dirty! they had 4 critical violations, equal to a "d" rating. i am very disappointed. read more
