Yikes, I am actually a fan of the first watch chains I have been to. Healthy fresh food options. I can't eat at a place that uses boxed eggs for omelettes that come out looking like rubber and has the texture of rubber with no actual taste to it. If I am going to pay that amount of money I will go somewhere like commune where you know everything is freshly made and sourced appropriately. Pass, hard pass. I love this place. It has a perfect location right by my neighborhood. The food is SO good and I love the look of the place. The servers are very kind and speedy as well. This is 4 stars because this place is packed a lot and sometimes a hassle to get into, especially when you want to go in early in the day to get your day started and it takes and hour to get seated. Not a place you just stop by at on the way to something. Most of the time, totally worth the wait though. read more

We went for lunch. I have the turkey burger, it was really good. Coffee tasted a burnt but it was 1:30 when we went so it's understandable. The food came out very fast. My wife had and egg sandwich which she said was good. The potatoes were ok. They were skillet potatoes, kinda of bland. read more

It was great to start, walked in to friendly happy hostess. That's where it ended. Got seated in the middle of the restaurant, no waiter or waitress came up to us at all. Three tables were seated about 5 minutes after us. They got their drinks and food ordered before anyone even stopped to ask us if we needed anything. We had to ask someone to help us. Finally we ordered, well we got a dirty jug of water, two cups for four people and no utensils. When we got our food, it was ok nothing impressive. The works omelette tasted bad, I think it was the bacon tasted funny. The salad or greens that came with the meal, was basically just leafs with nothing on them. The bread was really good. While the meal was going on, no one really checked on us to see if we needed anything. I don't plan on making a return visit. I'll stick with Pocahontas for breakfast thank you. read more

Had a little mishap with the new texting system they have for seating. When I got inside, the hostess said my table was given away and I had to be put back on the waiting list. We spoke to the manager and he was very kind. He explained it was a new system and got us a table right away. Food was GREAT and our server was great as well! This place is nice and the food was ok. I heard great things about this place but I was disappointed at how long we had to wait for our food (1hr) and came out the wrong order. While it took about another 30mins to get my order corrected. The waitress was very apologetic. Food was excellent! Our server.. not so much. We were sat at a dirty table, which smeared onto the menu and onto my hands. We asked kindly if we could get it wiped down. Annoyed, she said "sure." Another server kindly wiped it down and apologized. We ordered a coffee, water, the million dollar bacon, tacos, pumpkin pancakes and biscuit and gravy. Later on, our server brought the warm syrup, but forgot our coffee. No apology. We got our coffee and then we got our food 2 minutes later. And literally received the check right after we received our food... cool... if it weren't for the terrible service, this place would have received 5 stars. The bacon was delicious, sweet, savory and flavorful. The pumpkin pancakes were spot on and the biscuit and gravy were probably my favorite. My husband loved the tacos. My husband was still drinking his coffee, but I was finished eating. The server looked at me and looked at the check and said you can bring that to the front when you are ready... as if she were pushing us out. Went to Lockside tonight and was highly disappointed. When we arrive, the main dining had customers in several booth. The remaining booths and tables had no customers present. I was asked if I wanted inside or outside seating. So, I replied "inside please." The attendee immediately replied all the remaining inside booths and tables were reserved. So she immediately took us to the outside bar where the air conditioning was blasting. After completing our meal an hour and 15 minutes later we proceeded to leave through the main dining. To my surprise, there were no more diners in the main dining area than we arrived. I just scratched my head in disbelief. Still trying to determine if it was because we were dressed casually or if it was our elderly appearance. Have always been a fan of this restaurant but NO MORE! Food was good . We had lemon pancakes , mushrooms omelette. But the back ground noise was loud.

I went for the first time with my two young daughters and the wait was huge and the staff was clearly very busy... I finally got a seat and my kids were making a fuss and so I think the staff took pity on me and gave me the whole meal for free... easily $50 meal (I went crazy ordering food and expensive coffees haha). Sylvia, our waitress and Angela the co manager were amazing. They genuinely didn't have to give us a free meal but they wanted to make sure I was happy. Amazing service, amazing food. The only good thing about our meal today was our wonderful server. We waited an hour for food and we received 3 ice cold entrees. We tried to flag down the manager but she was dealing with another unhappy table. She did come over and offered to have everything remade. We had no interest in waiting another hour for hot food so we opted to leave without our entrees being remade. The kitchen was hopping the entire time so I think they were just behind from the start. Great brunch spot. However, the wait is wild. Be prepared to wait for at least 30 minutes. We try not to go when it's too busy because sometimes we'll get our food brought out separately and we like to eat it all at the same time and together. But the Kale Tonic? So refreshing. Pancakes? Are super huge, but so light and airy. The staff is super nice and last time my fiancé and I were there -- we were encouraged to eat at the communal table (to avoid the wait) but I chickened out. The food is great. I had the elevated egg sandwich and a Belgian waffle on the side. My husband had the chorizo bowl and it was all delicious. So good we came two days in s row. The owner/ manager was very friendly and quick to remember us. They were even super dog friendly and quick with Ivey bowl of water for him. Definitely a high recommendation all around. The atmosphere was very casual. The service was great! The food was was exceptional. We drove from Moyock to try this place, my daughter had been to the one in Knoxville and wanted us to experience it. We had the Million Dollar Bacon which was amazing! Sweet, salty and a touch of spicy all with a bacon base. We also had an Açaí bowl, Avocado toast, BLT eggs Benedict, and a scramble with mushrooms. This is nothing more than a knockoff Citrus. The plates are dirty. Server uses an obviously fake voice, water is just a jug they sit on your table and two small glasses, food is both bland and dry. There's a reason half of their table are empty and citrus has a lime out the door. read more

I managed to go one a very busy day. So the wait was pretty long. However, once we were seated and given our menus it seemed ok. Our waitress was friendly and the food was good. I especially loved the jam they served, I would have bought it by the jar. Overall, a good experience may return when it's less popular in the area.
