Both items were good and the veggies were all fresh. Server was OK, not as good as others. I guess his shift ended because we didn't see him again and another server took over. When I returned a few days ago for breakfast. I ordered the breakfast quesadilla. It was really good. I could only eat 1/2 of it. It took up the entire plate. My friend ordered eggs with toast, grits and bacon. She said her meal was very good. Our server on my most recent trip was excellent. I think she might have been the manager. I can't wait to go back. I even asked to speak with her manager because excellent service deserves recognition. Aaron, the manager, was just as wonderful. You could tell he genuinely took pride in hearing positive feedback about Makayla, especially as a new hire. He thanked us for coming in, was extremely kind and informative, and honestly helped create such a welcoming atmosphere overall. I told my family I wish I could throw Makayla, Aaron, and the million dollar potatoes into my suitcase and bring them all back home to California with me . Unfortunately, there are no First Watch locations in California, which honestly feels criminal at this point. To Makayla and Aaron: thank you for making a pregnant woman, her family, and her service dog feel genuinely cared for. In a busy brunch restaurant, that level of hospitality is rare, and it absolutely did not go unnoticed. We will remember this experience for a very long time.
