My 13 year son is a big fan of crab legs. He and I have enjoyed crab legs at Fish City many times. However tonight was a different experience. They offered an all you can eat crab leg special for $43 and I let him order it along with a Sprite. I had a dozen oysters on the half shell, a double order of fries and couple of large draw beers for about $42. Our total with tax was $93 and a $15 dollar tip brought the final bill to about $108. My 13 yr old can eat a lot of crab and had an additional 3 sections of legs in addition to the 2 sections that came with the initial order. The waitress did explain that the all you can eat order was for one person only and not to be shared as a two person meal. However since I had ordered my own meal equal in value to the crab special, I felt it should be ok for me to pick at the body or joint sections of the crab that my son was discarding as trash after he removed the legs and went after the larger easy pieces of crab meat. Apparently not so, as we were finishing up our meal and paying the bill the manager came to our table and made a issue of the fact that I had eaten some of the crab scraps. I explained that I had purchased my own meal and did not encourage my son to ask for additional crab just so that I could eat it. And that all I ate was what he was discarding as trash. She said that they would let it go this time but don't try it again. Had I known they would make an issue of my picking at the trash, I would have ordered a double order of the all you can eat and then eaten about 5 sections of legs on my own. They leg sections were not all that big. Makes me want to go back next Saturday for their Limitless Crab Special and see just how much crab I can really eat. Either that or find a new spot for crab legs. Our waitress was great and I hope she got to keep the tip, however I was quite disappointed in the manager's attitude. Gary E. read more

Well, first the good: excellent service. Prompt, attentive, courteous. But the food? Meh. Fish tacos, the signature dish: greasy and bland fish, cabbage slaw was hot but otherwise flavorless, rice was downright nasty. It had an odd taste that I just couldn't identify. My husband and I went to celebrate Fat Tuesday and were blown away by the food! We started off with a dozen oysters on the half shell, followed by salads and 3 pounds of crawfish, Everything was fresh and the crawfish were perfectly seasoned and boiled. (We'd gotten back from a trip to Louisiana two weeks ago and ate LOTS of crawfish.) The ones at Fish City Grill were fantastic, certainly not second to any we ate on our trip. My wife and I were looking for a new place to eat while in Edmond on business. After reading some of the reviews and seeing the ratings, we decided to give it a try. Going in we were very optimistic after seeing the atmosphere and menu items and me being a Louisiana native. Things went downhill at this point. It took almost 15 minutes just to get drinks and another 10 or so to order food. At this point, I had a bad feeling about the restaurant. The staff seemed quite disorganized and unable to handle what little crowd there was. Finally we received our appetizer (calamari), and not 5 min. later our entrees hit the table. Nothing special going on at this place. Mediocre food and staff felt like a Red Lobster as another reviewer stated. Very disappointed and will not be returning. read more

Atmosphere was nice. We started with the popcorn shrimp. They tasted good and the remoulade was excellent. I had the crayfish po-boy and a cup of gumbo. Both were VERY good. Fish City is one of our favorite places to go eat! I can't decide what my favorite there is, but I really like to try things on the daily board posted. I LOVE the salmon BBQ sliders! Wish it was on the regular menu! Or red beans and rice? That IS on the regular menu and super good. One time they gave us a sample of the oyster nachos! I'm a fan! Food was very good, as advertised. Went there to get take-out on 11/21/2017 @ 7:30pm and was referred to the bar to take my order. Bartender and bar staff looked at me at least 6-7 times and ignored me while they stocked the bar, at 20 minutes they took my order and it took another 15 to get it to me;, this was 2 cups of soup, that I am sure was already made and only had to be placed into Styrofoam cups. The best seafood in OKC. I've been 3 times in the last month. Their chowders and bisques are terrific. The peel and eat shrimp is the best I've ever had in OKC and better than many places in New Orleans. Other seafood dishes are excellent. Went there on a Sunday afternoon around 2:00 so it wasn't busy at all. We placed our order and waited....and waited and waited. Other people came in after us and got there food and we were still waiting. Our server assured us our order was coming right up. Finally he said something vague about a bunch of orders were done but they had mixed up the tickets. I told him we were leaving and he said we would have our food in 4 minutes. Obviously he forgot to put in our order and didn't admit it and offered us nothing to make up for everyone else getting their food, including take out orders, while we waited a total of about 40 minutes. I'll be blunt and to the point. Fish was good, but not great. Hushpuppies good, perhaps above average, but not great. Service was average. Cost was waaaaaaay too much! I've had fish just as good and hushpuppies just as good for way less at Long John Silver's. No lie. Overall, it's a good place to eat but way overpriced. read more

My husband & I stopped here while in Edmond for a quick trip. We got here around 5:00 on Friday. We were seated immediately, but as we ate we noticed a line forming at the door. We ordered the oyster nachos. They were good but not the quantity that we expected. Just six pieces. I had the house salad & a crab cake. Salad dressing was very flavorful. The crab cake was a bit heavy on the salt but edible. My husband got the special of tuna street tacos. He said the were good but not great. The tuna was plentiful but not very hot. Been in this town for three years and always heard about Fish City but I always forgot about it when I wanted to try something new. I got off work one night and decided to go (finally remembered it). I was a little confused when I walked in at first because there wasn't a host stand like most establishments. Shorty after walking in I was greeted by a server (I think she was a server) and told them I wanted to sit at the bar. I was relieved when I found out the bar was open sitting. Long story short, the food is great and the drinks are better. Elizabeth from the Edmond location must have tons of bartending experience from the way she mixed my margarita!! In search of great fish on a friday night, we headed to Fish City Grill. We had a short 15 min wait on a Friday night (6:00 p.m.) I thought was reasonable, the owner passed out some appetizer samples while we waited at the bar. I was planning on fish but was faced with some great specials and tempting menu items. We started with CT Blue point oysters, fresh and sweet. I combined two appetizers and was not disappointed, fried clam strips and a bowl of red beans and rice. Quentin our waiter did a fantastic job. What I look for in a waiter is someone who can describe a dish and present it in a visual format, then be attentive without quashing conversation. Quentin was spot on. (we learned he is brand new, He is WELL trained). My wife had the fish and chips (opted for sweet slaw made with apple cider instead of fries) The fish was crispy and moist and served with malt vinegar. My clams were sweet and tender the red beans and rice had several layers of deep flavor, I wanted to lick the bowl. We will be back soon. read more
