We stumbled upon this gem. It's quaint and cozy inside but big enough. My husband had the most delicious gumbo. It was very flavorful. Our son and I had the lobster and shrimp grilled cheese. This was our first visit to Fish City Grill and our experience was remarkable. Our server was extremely attentive and made our first experience the first of many. She provided some menu samples and truly made us feel at home. There was an issue with my daughter's entree and the manager immediately remedied the issue, which showed the manager's great leadership skills. The food was exceptional and I highly recommend the crab bisque, oyster nachos (I am not a huge oyster fan but the balance of flavors are amazing), fish-n-chips and the scallop and bacon wrapped shrimp entree. I hadn't heard of this place until they showed under the Veterans Day list of places that provides free meals. They actually give one entree up to $25.99 which is incredible. This location is pretty close to Edmond Memorial High school in a fancy schmancy strip mall that has an Italian vibe. It is quite large once you get in. The house salad is quite tasty with pecans and Bleu cheese. The tangy kick to it was unique in my opinion... KJ approved. The blackened redfish with Bleu cheese butter over creamy mashed potatoes and as I asparagus was spot on.. I mentioned that we were going to split the fish and they brought it out on 2 plates. Bravo good sir...Bravo. I plan to come back and try some of their other choices next time I want Cajun food and am in Edmond. read more

Food was delicious. Service was outstanding. Ambiance was iffy. We arrived exactly at 11 and some of us a few minutes after. The first thing we noticed is the fish odor. Not of nice seasoning cooking fish odor but more like old trash can fish odor. By the time we left (around 1) the odor was gone. So not understanding why the smell right at opening. They have three types of oysters; gulf, blue point and wellfleet. The blue point were $2.25 each or $12.99 a Half dozen and the wellfleet were $3.17 each and I don't know their half dozen or dozen prices. I received lemon, horseradish and catsup as my accoutrements. No mignonettes, I then ordered a single snow crab cluster. I'm glad I did because I wasn't impressed. We stumbled on this gem when we were browsing our maps program for places to eat some fish. we then took a short road trip to Edmond and found Fish City Grill was very pleasant and eager to serve us, (Refreshing). My spouse and I decided on calamari served with Thai chili sauce and tartar sauce to choose from for an appetizer, and seafood platters for our entrees. I loved the sample they brought us for the soups and peeled shrimp with dip, as they heard we were new to dining there. Our food came out fast just after our drinks arrived, loved the Cappuccino Martini by the way. Our food was fresh and hot and every bite was like being at Fisherman's Wharf in SanFransico. The ambiance was perfect for a romantic conversation as we had soft music in the background just enough to hear but able to speak without having to raise our voices. we actually whispered from time to time, was very thoughtful and nice to have an intimate conversation without sharing with the whole establishment. Their crabcakes are absolutely killer! And the people working here are always super nice!!!

They are spot on with seafood. All the entrees we've tried have been great. The stuffed flounder is flakey and sweet. Shrimp is fresh and well prepared. We try to get there about twice a month now at least. Highly recommend! read more
