I tasted both and both were delicious. Our waiter was friendly, attentive but not overbearing. I would defiantly return and would recommend you give it a try. A solid establishment for all of you Cajun seafood lovers out there. Fish City Grill is a franchise whose sole Oklahoma location is located in the tony Spring Creek Village Shopping Center with it's nice foliage and brick exterior makes for an inviting place to park, shop and eat. We came on a warm Friday evening and were easily able to grab a table for three adults and two kids right in a round table in front. Upon sitting down, our server Myron asks our table if anyone is new to Fish City Grill, and I promptly raised my hand and before we even got the chance to order our entrees another server brings us a "Welcome Wagon" sampler, which was a plate of four small plastic ramekins of their clam chowder, crab bisque, roasted jalapeño soup, gumbo and two of their smokin' hot shrimp. Talk about a warm welcome! After our table looked so shocked after receiving this unexpected gift, that second server asked had anyone else in our party received this before and another guest smartly raised their and then five minutes later another plate with those five small samplers was on our table. From these samples I can say both the crab bisque and clam chowders were my favorite as the gumbo was a little too heavy for my liking. The shrimp although solid truly lived up tot heir name as their were some seriously spicy shrimp! Either way, that is a nice welcome to a new restaurant that I never experienced before and gave me a nice overview of what Fish City Grill's menu had to offer. Upon looking at their menu, one could tell that they have a nice variety of seafood dishes, served grilled and deep fried, and traditional seafood southern dishes. I decided to go with the Crawfish Etouffee which was served in heavy gravy and a side of white rice and for extra effect topped with extra fried crawfish. The adults in our party opted to go with theri version of the Southern classic, otherwise known as the Shrimp & Grits, featuring cheesy grits, onions, smoked bacon, red bell pepper and cilantro. And then another ordered their Pick 2 Combo which features your choice of two of Catfish, Shrimp or Oysters and you have the option of getting them fried, grilled or blackened along with two extra sides. As for my entree, I really enjoyed the Crawfish Etouffee I ordered, so much so I only wish there was more quantity to the dish as I scooped every ounce of gravy-soaked crawfish with equal parts rice and the side order of toasted bread that our server Myron wondered if I wanted to order. No doubt that five piece side of slightly buttered and toasted bread cost extra but it was well worth it. In terms of quantity, I did notice that both the etouffee and my dining partner's shrimp & grits looked and tasted good on quality but were rather small in terms of quantity. Then again, for only 15 dollars for the Crawfish Etouffee and 13 dollars for the Shrimp & Grits, what do you expect with such a decent price point? All in all, our entire part enjoyed what we received for the price we paid. Fish City Grill is a nice affordable option for seafood, Cajun and Southern food lovers out there. They even have an appetizer called Oyster Nachos topped with deep fried nachos, chipotle tartar sauce and fresh pico de gallo. They actually guarantee you will love them or they will refund you! Now that's service that cares about whether or not you like your food and at Fish City Grill that have established themselves as a small family owned franchise that is a friendly, fun and caring company that puts people, namely their customers first thanks to solid service and affordable prices. read more

Just finished dinner here. It's a neighborhood stop for us, and is generally very good. Here's our complaint, and is true for many other restaurants. Don't bring the entree with the appetizer, or while the appetizer is still being eaten. We also ordered a salad and soup and they were also delivered with our entree. We should probably know better since it happens often. From now on I'll refuse to order the entree until I'm ready. The food was very good. I just didn't want it all at once. read more

Best seafood experience in Edmond! My family and I visit this location a couple times a year, but tonight's experience was the best I've ever had. The manager and staff were very friendly and accommodating for our large party of 10. We were surprising one of our friends for her birthday and upon hearing this the manager jumped into action to make the experience special. He quickly coordinated a table for us and as soon as the birthday girl arrived he personally delivered a complimentary appetizer and quickly got her drink to the table. To top it all off the rest of the dinner service was top notch! The food was amazing (as usual) and my drink was never empty!! My kids love the plentiful crab boil. I tried the special-- Chargrilled Red Fish -- and I hope they make it a permanent menu item because it was so delicious. Kudos to the manager (unfortunately I did not catch his name) and our server, Lance, for a job well done! We'll be back again soon! read more

I had this on my list to visit in Edmond for awhile and recently took my niece here for lunch. I didn't realize it was a chain until I was looking up their menu beforehand. That turned me off a little but still wanted to try it out since she loves seafood. I enjoyed the crab bisque and crab cake. The salmon salad was also good! It was a pretty good experience overall. I can't say I'd necessarily return since I'm not in the area often. There are other places I'd like to try as well, but I enjoyed it nonetheless. read more

The food used to be good until about a year ago. Had an order of shrimp and oysters that tasted like they'd been sitting out for hours and were going rancid. Called to explain and they said they would mail me a coupon for a free dinner to make up for it. Very classy restaurant. Good staff, attentive, friendly. Ordered a beer, chargrilled oysters, Salmon special. Oysters arrived in a timely manner. Good taste, but very small for Gulf oysters. Will need more to make an appetizer. Salmon w horseradish crust, mashed potato and sweet peas. Hot and very tasty. Very satisfying. I'll be back and mention don't go tiny on the oysters. Enjoyed dinner here. Shared a crab cake for an appetizer, it is one large crab cake and was just fine for a light nosh before entrees between two people. I had the garlic caper salmon, the salmon was cooked very well. They were very heavy handed with the capers and caper brine. I remedied it by requesting extra melted butter and the additional fat cut the acidity and balanced the dish. Fish and chips were also ordered and the fish was cooked well and large filets. Then dessert was bread pudding, one of the better bread puddings we have eaten in the OKC metro area. Likely won't make a special trip just to eat here but if we happen to be in the 'hood we would come back. Service was very good and attentive and food came out quickly and hot. read more

I really wanted to love this, and I will give it another chance for sure. Using DoorDash in an icy day likely added to my disappointment. The food was delivered cold and disheveled. However, there was a major mistake in the food. My crawfish Po'boy had very very little crawfish on it. Is was basically salad on French bread with a sprinkle of crawfish. It tasted great and I'm sure was wonderful when hot. Major pluses: the jalapeño cream soup was out of this world. Truly worth a return trip for this alone. And the asparagus was perfectly cooked. Overall, I will be visiting in person to give the proper consideration. And I will avoid doordash in the cold. read more

The pecan crusted tilapia is the bomb! Usually only on rotating special menu but if it's not on for the day they can usually accommodate you. The margarita is delicious - and I'm a margarita snob. Looking forward to coming back here! Food and service were great! We ordered one of the specials, Shrimp Boil - more than plenty for two, a salad and gumbo. All were delicious. Great seasoning in shrimp boil. Gumbo had a great roux and the house salad had a flavorful dressing. For dessert we got the bread pudding, and although I was full, we managed to finish it off. Holy cow! We were visiting from Washington and my HAS to have catfish before left. I wish I could give this more stars. The food was amazing...catfish, blackened shrimp and raw oysters. The portions, even the half order cat, was more than most people could eat. Now, let me talk about service. We are obviously in a strange time. They did everything right to reassure guests and follow appropriate social distancing guidelines and masks for staff. And the server - Liz was professional, knowledgeable and genuinely friendly. Since it was our first time, they started us off with a complimentary appetizer sampler. They had some oyster nachos and a couple of different soups. All of them were flavorful and we ended up ordering couple of the soups. For lunch, I had their Honey chipotle shrimp tacos. It's three corn tortillas, cilantro, shredded carrots, celery, ranch dressing, diced avocado. The tacos tasted great and shrimp was cooked perfectly. It was fresh and light and I had a side of rice with it. Overall, great experience with great tasting food and excellent service. read more

Just had an amazing birthday lunch. our waitress Addison "Addie" was knowledgeable and on point with service. She was always present just when we needed a refill or any other extra requests. The oyster nachos were soooo good! The fried oyster combined with the pico and sauce (an aioli?). These are what bring us back time and again. The clam chowder was rich and stuffed full of clams. And the seafood platter was plentiful. (My only negative was that the oysters on the platter didn't have the pico, but the didn't ask. They'd probably have brought us some. Oh. And having malt vinegar for the fries made me reminisce about childhood days at the state fair. So stuffed I couldn't do dessert. 5 star though. all around. read more

We came for recommended but weren't impressed CRISPY CALAMARI is greasy and not crispy but taste fine ( not fishy ) ! My son liked them! SEAFOOD PLATTER , we have 2 platters , 1 fried catfish on each place, not crispy but light on battle , Grill oysters are really good , grill Shrimps are good too ( no fishy smell or taste) .
