Katsu Rito: (3/5) fried chicken, crab mayo, cucumber, red cabbage, rice & nori. Most places skimp out on meat but they actually put a lot. Since there is chicken, I would say this one was more dry & could've used more sauce. Or maybe add sauce on the side. The size was pretty big. I was expecting it to be a super small role. Krusty Krab: (4/5) crab, cabbage, mayo, cucumber, unagi sauce & masago eggs. The Krusty Krab had a lot more flavor due to the crab. I'd probably get this one again. Since I love saucy things, I'd probably ask for some to go as well so you can dip it. Service: there was some people in front of me, so I waited a short bit but nothing too crazy. The workers there are super nice, energetic, and always ready to help out when you have substitutions or questions. They got a good variety of sauces such as spicy mayo. Also have an option to coat your burrito in crushed up hot cheetos (see picture). Pretty solid but gets soggy the next day. I would say this is a pretty good substitute for Sushiritto - in fact, I might even like it more. The wait time wasn't bad at all, the service was great, and the quality of the food was good! I ordered the Hot Nights Burrito. This sushi burrito has a bunch of hot Cheeto dust on the outside, which I felt was a nice touch. I really enjoyed the flavor of this menu item. The only thing I might suggest is adding more of a sauce on the inside. While this tasted really good, I did feel it was dry or harder to eat in some parts. Soy sauce definitely helped, but it would be nice to have something like a spicy mayo on the inside to balance things out. However, I still really liked the idea of this sushi burrito. Decided to try this place since we were at Target. The area was small. They had indoor dinning but didn't have the chairs set yet. There were people eating on the counter. I really liked the mural on the wall. Service was good. The ladies were pleasant and seemed hard working. A plus is that I saw them changing gloves after they cleaned the counter. This is a plus. The low rating is based on my price/product ratio. I decided on getting the Hawaiian and my daughter went on the sushirito. I really liked the concept of the sushirito, but the cost was very high for this product. The Hawaiian was ok, but I can get more at a Hawaiian restaurant l close by for the same price. So here's what we ordered: Medium/regular size sushi burrito: I chose salmon, tuna, and tempura in my burrito with imitates crab and easy with the flavoring choosing only the shoyu and spicy mayo. It was good but not out of this world. Needs to have a more pickled vinegar option perhaps maybe in their cucumber to had more flavor here. Tempura was a waste of one of your three protein choice as they only add one shrimp. Might have just went with a scoop of yellowtail. Overall for $11 or $12 with avocado it was good! Poke bowl: basic. A basic quality poke and the bowl maybe a bit smaller than PokiBowl and definitely smaller than Poke House. Not amazing and fish quality at most poke places I have found are the same. Hit or miss. I really like that they have wonton strips as an option as that made my poke bowl have more textures which I appreciated. We also ordered the large size sushi burrito and for $2 more it wasn't really worth it. Size wise it had more fish noticeably but the medium size was just as good. If you like to sample sauces like my boyfriend just get them on the side! The spicy shoyu inside the burrito was pretty spicy and the unagi sauce added a lot more flavor but good be overwhelming with its syrupy consistency. The choices they have are great and standard as any other poke spot but what makes Fish Me Poke a bit different was that they had curated menu choices for poke bowls as well as Sushirittos. Sushiritto isn't so common in SJ besides Valley Fair or all the way out to Palo Alto so this was a nice surprise to see. I decided to get the Salmon Bowl for starters and see how they do and it was a great choice to try. Rice portion was not overwhelming but the fish quantity was more than what I usually see at poke spots--and this was a DEFINITE plus as I'm a big sashimi fan. Quality of the bowl was great and tasty, nothing bland nor god-forbid spoiled tasting and I would definitely get this bowl again if I wasn't sure what to get next. My friend got the Sushiritto and she definitely considered the amount to be filling and left with a full stomach and satisfied. Parking for this place is not the greatest as this plaza is always crowded. Regarding COVID-19 regulations, the store has implemented the regular social-distancing policy, as well as removing dine-in options. There is also hand sanitizer in the store, and customers must have a mask on to be served. I ordered a California Bowl and House Fries. The California Bowl was exactly as I'd expected, so it was good and satisfied my cravings. The House Fries were also yummy as well but nothing special. Overall, Fish Me Poke is a good poke store. This place is definitely on the top 5 for poke in the Bay Area. My second visit recently was in the evening when it was slow. I ordered two pokerittos which were so goooood! One was customized and the other one with fried salmon was a preset menu item. The salmon pokeritto resembled the salmon samba at Sushiritto in Valleyfair but Fish Me Poke does it way better and tastier! The salmon came out fresh & moist with a crunchy coating. It tasted great with the other ingredients in the pokeritto. Price was a little steep at $28 for the two items. Other than that, I had a good experience. The two guys helping me were also nice! Parking sucks here since it's in a really popular plaza. I like that the menu is extensive and there's so much to choose from. Saw their long list of sauces that sounded all great however you can only pick one (according to the small sign adjacent to it). Kinda sad bc I could usually mix up to three at other restaurants! I also substituted the spicy tuna for salmon, which I'm glad about or else it would've been too spicy for me. Everything together was so delicious from the spice of the hot cheetos to the refreshing taste of the salmon, imitation crab meat and veggies. You get that nice crunch from the cabbages and cucumber. The shrimp tempura wasn't as crispy as it could've been but still good altogether. Their Karne asada fries were disappointing to me because of the portion size.
