Excuse meee?! Hot cheeto sushi burrito . Absolutely love this idea! I been here like 3xs and its great. The fact we can customize our own sushi burrito like poke is amazing. I got their special limited taki blue heat masubi. The size of the burritos are full filling. They offer fries, boba, hot dogs, quesadillas, and etc. I order online and its always ready on time. Its also clean inside and they have a tv while you wait.

Fish Me Poke has some of my favorite sushirittos. They definitely pile on the fish and are not stingy with it at all. I've been on the hunt for a hot cheeto sushi burrito and this place does it right. They coat the outer layer of the rice burrito with crushed up hot cheetos. Don't knock it until you try it. You get to customize your own toppings, sauces, fish, and vegetables. I have shrimp tempura and spicy tuna in mine. I also added corn and cucumber. Service is quick and portions are big. This is definitely worth it. If you are ever in the area, check this place out!

I love this place and always get. For the first time order doordash and was disappointed. This is barely a scope of salmon. At most pieces, they really gotta improve because this is sad. I was disappointed coming home and seeing this being delivered after a hot day of work. Please solve this issue!

Crusty Crab Burrito

Every time I come to this plaza it's for Soyful, but I was craving a type of "sushirito" & figured I should check this place out since it was a walk away. They serve both poke & burritos. When I walked in during the afternoon, it was pretty empty. They had limited seating against the walls. I ordered a Katsu Rito & Krusty Krab. Katsu Rito: (3/5) fried chicken, crab mayo, cucumber, red cabbage, rice & nori. Most places skimp out on meat but they actually put a lot. Since there is chicken, I would say this one was more dry & could've used more sauce. Or maybe add sauce on the side. The size was pretty big. I was expecting it to be a super small role. Krusty Krab: (4/5) crab, cabbage, mayo, cucumber, unagi sauce & masago eggs. The Krusty Krab had a lot more flavor due to the crab. I'd probably get this one again. Since I love saucy things, I'd probably ask for some to go as well so you can dip it. Service: there was some people in front of me, so I waited a short bit but nothing too crazy. Glad to have stumbled across this place and now I have somewhere to grab lunch when I grab soyful.

Been here twice and after sushiritto closed. This is a good alternative, especially if you don't like seafood, but still want the "sushi burrito" experience with katsu chicken instead. The workers there are super nice, energetic, and always ready to help out when you have substitutions or questions. They got a good variety of sauces such as spicy mayo. Also have an option to coat your burrito in crushed up hot cheetos (see picture). Pretty solid but gets soggy the next day. They're good burritos, but a little too expensive for the quality of ingredients, which is the only thing I wish would improve.

Hot Night Burrito

I would say this is a pretty good substitute for Sushiritto - in fact, I might even like it more. The wait time wasn't bad at all, the service was great, and the quality of the food was good! I ordered the Hot Nights Burrito. This sushi burrito has a bunch of hot Cheeto dust on the outside, which I felt was a nice touch. I really enjoyed the flavor of this menu item. The only thing I might suggest is adding more of a sauce on the inside. While this tasted really good, I did feel it was dry or harder to eat in some parts. Soy sauce definitely helped, but it would be nice to have something like a spicy mayo on the inside to balance things out. However, I still really liked the idea of this sushi burrito. This order satisfied my cravings for sure, so I'm glad I ended up coming here. I overall had a great experience and would recommend this place.

I love my poke bowls. It is super delicious and fresh fish. I always get salmon. The workers are nice and give me the right amount of mix for my salmon. Everything is the right amount. The place is quiet and nice. They play lo-fi music which personally my favorite station to listen too.

Poke Build Your Own Regular Bowl

I've been to Fish Me Poke a few times and have never quite got hooked. I think it's a bit expensive for what you actually get. During my most recent visit, I ordered the Build Your Own Regular Bowl which comes with three scoops of your choice in poke. The scoops are super tiny and regardless of how much sauce I asked the associate to add (I opted for Shoyu) -- it didn't hit the mark for flavor and excitement. The toppings are limited and the crab salad lacks flavor. Don't get me wrong. I'm a poke fanatic and appreciate the South Bay stepping up to offering poke options but the bar is set high so we need better quality.

Mushy salmon and tuna is not "diced salmon" or "diced tuna". Please edit your online menu to reflect correct description of what the items are.

It was on a bowl.

All their fish is so clean, all the flavors are bold without overwhelming the true essence of the tuna, salmon, or shrimp, and this is definitely the closest thing you can get here in San Jose comparable to Hawaii. This spot is located in the strip of Japantown, downtown, and has limited parking if you're going on a weekend, as a heads up. The store itself is small and is more of a grab-and-go with no seating. You enter and head straight to the back to order with their staff, and then once they pack everything up, you pay at the counter. You can order their poke bowls, hot bar food (which is pretty delicious - I like the salt and vinegar chicken), their poke nachos (which are trending, but it's not my favorite), and/or you can buy poke by weight (¼ lb-1 lb increments), which is what I usually do. At the end, you can also order musubis or their butter mochis (actually so bomb)! They have a variety of poke flavors you can try, but I will say my favorites are the Kalbi and the Smokey poke, those are the most unique. Overall, this is the number one spot I recommend for people to go when they stop by SJ!

I had spoken with the owner at the time--who was very kind--and based on that interaction, I chose to take my earlier review down. Unfortunately, this experience left me just as disappointed as before. I placed an order through DoorDash and received it about 45 minutes later, which I understood since the app noted they were busier than usual. No issue there. The problem started when I checked the receipt on the sealed bag--it had my name and all the correct ingredients listed. However, when I opened it (and it was clearly still sealed, so not a driver issue), it turned out to be someone else's order entirely, with completely different items. This is very similar to my previous experience, where part of my order was missing altogether. At this point, it's hard to justify giving them another chance. It's especially frustrating because the food itself has been great when it's correct. Issues like this point to a lack of quality control, whether that's from insufficient training or not taking enough care when preparing orders. Poke isn't cheap, so when mistakes like this happen--especially more than once--it's incredibly disappointing. Sadly, this will likely be the last time I order from here.

I definitely recommend to order through their website online before you start driving! I always get to skip in front of the pick up line and just pick up my food when I arrive. Their parking lot only has about 7 spots and is almost always full but the spots can open up quick with everyone coming in and out. There's a lot of street parking too. The environment is great here. Price is pretty steep for something like this. The owner or person taking our order seemed like a confident or very straight forward / strong type personality, which I'm fine with because I naturally have a bit of a strong personality as well so it didn't bother me, although it would've been better if he smiled or something so it doesn't seem like he's coming off like a New Yorker. Just sayin. But I also know that he's simply doing his job so it's nothing personal. Anyhow, the food he talked a good game on it being the best in the Bay Area turned out to be quite mid IMPO. The shrimp was 100% overcooked, the side Mac salad was actually *not* good at all and it sucks because that's something I feel like you can't mess up but it was gross unfortunately, I spat it out even tho I hate wasting food. It just didn't taste freshly made whatsoever. The poke bowl wasn't comparable to Hawaii since he mentioned it's just as good... but honestly I think everyone's taste buds are different because to me, the poke bowl was totally mid, but it could taste really good to someone else and that's certainly OK! Also -- I like salty things esp when I crave for it but this was quite heavy on the salt, which made my experience the way it was. Even though it could've been better, I came with no expectations and just wanted to see what the fuss was about. That said, the only thing that was good was the rice cracker snack we bought and that's it. Glad I still gave this place a try, but personally for me, it's definitely my last visit. Maybe I'll come back at an earlier time to get one of their strawberry mochi but other than that, I think I'll rest my case here.

I got the large bowl with the soba noodle option (my first time getting it). This was like any other poke places, but the toppings offered were a lot more! I like that they had, mango, pineapple, radish, tomatoes, and chicharrones. And I LOVED that avocado, crab salad, and seaweed salad were already included in the price. I got the last of the soba noodles, so I was surprised that even though it was closing, she went into the back to get me more soba noodles even though it seemed like the amount she had given me was enough. they also allowed however many sauces you wanted to marinate the fish in. I chose unagi, the house sauce and ponzu. I also asked for spicy mayo drizzle at the end. my brother got the wasabi mayo but he said he barely tasted the wasabi when mixed in. total came out to be around $40 for two large bowls. I wasn't sure what I was expecting for the soba noodles, but I was pleasantly surprised and really enjoyed it. the sauces from the marinade seeped into the noodles gave it a nice light flavor. the fish was fresh and chicharrones were such a good contrast with the crunch (im a huge textures girl). I was able to eat half and and save the other half for lunch the next day. because I got soba noodles, I did not have to worry about heating up rice and separating the fish, so it was perfect. This might be a new way im gonna have to eat my poke from now on!
