Convenient place to grab lunch, although this plaza can get pretty busy. The service here is always meh, the workers aren't happy to be here, especially the day before a holiday. Their salmon is good compared to their other proteins. As for the sauces? They have pre sets where you just tell them what number you want and they'll throw it in for you. Less hassle. For some reason everytime I come here, I'll just say give me the #5, the workers are always confused..like what's #5? If you look on their sauce options, You'll see #5, which lists their most spicy sauce mixes so you don't gotta rap it out for them. But I guess they prefer you to be the difficult and name everything you want individually. Regarding the 2 stars, I think the staff here should atleast know their menu...that's the bare minimum. My sister loves Tuna, so she always gets the Tuna Lover medium bowl. But I'm a little more picky, always opting for custom build-your-own medium bowl. For those interested, here's my go-to: - Sushi rice for the base - Octopus, spicy tuna, and spicy salmon for the protein - Corn, mango, pineapple, and a (free) scoop of imitation crab - Topped off with furikake and the citrus ponzu, sriracha aioli, unagi sauce combination. Sometimes I like to add a scoop of seaweed salad, but they charge an extra $2.00 on top of the rather expensive $17.95 base price. But regardless of what I get, I always enjoy it, especially their fish, though mangoes can be quite sour at times.
