I got their build-your-own medium poke bowl during lunch, and the plaza that Poke House is located in was pretty busy with a lot of other restaurants around. The place had a casual and lively atmosphere, making it a nice spot for a quick lunch. I really enjoyed how light the bowl felt even after finishing the whole thing, despite it being packed to the brim with food. I would've preferred a little more fish for the price, but they definitely load up the bowl with plenty of toppings. Their sauces were also super flavorful and a huge selling point in my opinion. Overall, I'd definitely come back again since this is one of the better poke spots in the area that I've had and the employees were nice and quick to help!

Ordered a large bowl with sushi rice, garlic oyster tuna, spicy miso salmon, krab salad, edamame, nori strips, and corn. The bowl was light and healthy, which made it a nice meal choice when you don't want something heavy. The garlic oyster tuna had a savory and sweet flavor, and the spicy miso salmon added a tiny bit of heat. The krab salad, edamame, and nori strips gave the bowl texture and variety. That said, the portions were small for the price, especially considering it was a large bowl. While everything tasted fresh, I expected a little more for what you pay.

Unseasoned. Not as tasty as other poke places. Very skimpy on the cucumbers and the sauce.

The workers here skimp out of your order if you order through DoorDash. My bowl was not even filled completely, this has happened a couple times ordering DoorDash from them. Please correct this-- order was on 7/20 @ 5:07pm.

Got the medium which comes with 3 protein scoops. I got Spicy Tuna, Garlic Oyster Salmon, and regular Salmon. I loved how crab salad was already included. Very good fish and flavors. Also, pretty decent quantity for the price. Sad that Seaweed salad was $2.25 extra but I think the quantity and quality of the other stuff balanced out. New go to poke place.

Fresh poke but scoops are small for the price! Got a medium for $20 and managed to finish it all since the portions were not very big. Also got a hot bowl- roasted miso chicken, which was good but kind of weird to taste chicken in my poke bowl. Sauces are good though. Limited seating with chairs too low for the tables.

the freshness of the salmon is good. the portion size and the toppings they give are perfect. the prices is very good too. i quite enjoy dipping my salmon in their ponzu citrus sauce. order through their app for pick up or go inside and order. parking is a bitch on the weekend but if you can find parking than all is good. the location is near plenty of food places and boba too. after eating here you can walk to the nearest grocery store, ranch 99.

Overall great experience and great food! Just wished they had water available. The worker gladly got some for me, but had to get it from the back. Loved how fresh everything was! So refreshing and satisfying.

I think for poke, the price point is high for their serving size. I feel like they could give more protein. It was still good, but I think it's a bit overpriced for what you get. Food was fresh, store was clean.

Food: I LOVE POKE BOWL!! We got free crab (not part of the 3 protein scoop)!! Not sure if it was because it was at special time/day? Service/Ambiance: The workers were really friendly and fast!!

Poke House has been my go-to spot for poke in San Jose for yearsss. The quality of the fish is consistently fresh and delicious. They also have a wide variety of toppings and sauces. I normally get the Scottish salmon as my protein, but this time I decided to try the spicy miso salmon and it did not disappoint! Service is always quick and parking is pretty convenient, as there's a big lot in the front. There's not too much seating inside, but there are a few extra tables outside.

The wife and I have been in the bay for 6 years and this is our go to poke spot, whenever we come back down to the South Bay, we make a stop here. I always get the pokers lovers bowl. 2 poke choices and 2 sides. You can choose from different "bases". White or brown rice or salad. The unique ahi flavor is the Kalbi, think of it as savory and soy based ahi. Kakui nut reminds me of traditional poke in Hawaii. Spicy salmon is a spicy mayo based salmon poke. Side dishes include Lomi lomi salmon (tomato's and chopped salmon pieces), "ocean salad" which is seaweed salad, and Mac salad to name a few. I also love their butter mochi. Either the guava or the Iilikoi are solid. They do a promo if you order 3 versus just one. Interior is counter top service. Basically walk in the line and order the food and walk to the cashier. No where to sit inside, you'll find plenty of benches and other areas to sit and eat outside. Support local business and come through, you will not be disappointed! BE WARNED parking enforcement is active in the area. Everytime we've come, there's a bike cop, so make sure to feed your meter.

Final Thoughts: 4.33/5…read more They were our caterer for a work party. This is a food truck and they seem to have everything ready to be served to us. Asian fusion foods are typically my go-to choice and so I was very excited that they were providing us food today. Food: Garlic Fried Chicken Bowl: 4.3/5 The sauce on this is divine with the chicken. It's like an unagi sauce with garlic in it. It has some saltiness, sweetness, and that umami flavor. Garlic taste and scent is present, but not too overpowering, which I really enjoyed. That flavor is great, but some places really overdo it for me. Just a personal preference though. For the chicken itself, it's very tender and juicy on the inside and still has some of that nice crunch on the outside. Perhaps this is because the cut of meat is the chicken thigh. It's not super crispy because I don't believe this is being fried to order for us. Seems to be food held in a warmer until its ordered. Kimchi was the side that they had provided with this dish and I am here for that. Some people aren't the biggest fan of this and I saw that from the looks my coworkers gave it. Personally, very much enjoyed it though. That sourness and spice from the kimchi just balances out this bowl really well. The veggies are nice and crispy. Gives it that freshness. Also, very slight detail and addition, but I always enjoy the sesame seeds and furikake sprinkle as a garnish. There's a nice nuttiness to it that they provide as a simple garnish. Spicy Tuna Poké: 4.0/5 This item was alright. The flavor was also really good, but I did get tired of eating just one type of poke protein. Typically when I go to get poke, it's 2 to 3 scoops of different proteins with various sauces to change up the flavor. I did get tired of this one after a few bites. The flavor of this item was very good though. There's a nice kick from it and the flavor tastes like a mix of kewpie mayo, soy sauce, sriracha, and sugar. Very simple, but you can't go wrong with those flavors. For the side, they added seaweed salad. Again, not your average side dish. Personally, I enjoyed it, but it might not be a common or familiar side dish for other individuals. It has a nice sweetness and nuttiness to it. For texture, there's a nice bite to it, which is ncie since the tuna is very soft and doesn't contribute much to the texture component. Menu: Small Their menu seems quite limited, but again, that is normal for a food truck, I believe. The items they provide do it just fine for me. I appreciate that they also have an option for the vegetarians. The menu we were provided was limited to 4 items, which is fine since the scale of this party wasn't anything too wild and we were able to satisfy everyone with what they provided. --------- Quality: Alright The quality of the food seems OK. It came out within a few minutes for us and I don't think it takes just a few minutes to fry that piece of chicken. I could be wrong though, so no one quote me on that. Just an observation. Not the highest expectations because their limited to the space and area in general. The product they provide is very good though. Overall, for something that has raw seafood in it, it seemed quite fresh and tasty. The items aren't made to order either and it's more assemble and serve to order, but again, they seem to be making it work with the product that they are selling. Price: Estimated Because this was a catering event, I am actually unaware of how much my administrator paid for the food. What I know is that she paid for a certain amount of bowls. From the looks of this item though, I want to estimate the price of each bowl being around $16 to $20 depending on the food item provided. Seems quite average for a bowl of food these days. Service: Quick and fast Because most of the food is already prepared and ready, the interaction with them itself is very limited. They took our order and provided us with the food. Nothing too significant to note and that is to be expected with the food truck. They were very sweet though and explained the menu items to be when I had a question. Ambiance: Simple and cute food truck The design on their food truck is so cute. The riceball is my favorite because it has this very cute face and just looks darling to me. The outside has a simple design with the name and logo on top and then perhaps some of the food items they provide written on the bottom section of the truck. Doesn't seem like anything too fancy, but simplicity is best for me. Location/Parking: Wherever they travel and navigate to Because they're a food truck, they can drive to you, which is really convenient. On Yelp, it states that their located on 36 Commercial Street in downtown, which might be where their truck is serving most of the time. Again, it is a food truck though, so they have the ability to drive to you and travel around to their customers, which is quite convenient is reaching a broader group of people.

For the second plate, we got another Chicken Katsu with the Beef (also an extra $0.50). One thing I really liked is the self-serve sauce station. They have katsu sauce that you can pump into small containers, along with teriyaki sauce and several additional sauce packets, so it's easy to customize your meal. The Chicken Katsu was crispy and tasty, but the Crispy Shrimp only came with three pieces, and the beef was just okay. The portions are also a bit smaller compared to Olioli Hawaiian BBQ, although the prices are noticeably lower. My biggest disappointment was that the plates come with a green salad instead of macaroni salad. For me, macaroni salad is part of what makes a Hawaiian plate feel complete, so I really wish that were included instead. Overall, it's a good value, especially if you have one of their coupons. I still prefer Olioli Hawaiian BBQ for the larger portions and more traditional Hawaiian plate experience, but Ono Hawaiian BBQ is definitely worth trying when there's a BOGO deal.
