We wanted poke for lunch and decided to try Poke Bowl. We were warmly greeted when we walked in. It wasn't busy inside. We both ordered the large bowl which came with 4 scoops of protein. I chose the ahi tuna, spicy tuna and 2 scoops of shrimp. My husband got 2 scoops of salmon and 2 scoops of ahi tuna. I really liked the variety of proteins and toppings. Everything looked so fresh. Avocado and masago were included in the toppings that came with the bowl. So it was nice not having to pay extra for those toppings. I also liked the two sauces that were putting the very top. They were a miso sauce and spicy sauce. We decided to eat on their patio on the side of the store. It was a really nice day to eat outside. We both enjoyed our bowls. We will definitely be back.

Food is great! Lots of options and price was what you'd expect. That said, the vibe of the place threw me a little. We ordered pick up and when we went in, it was just straight up empty. Like, for a while. There was loud hip-hop playing, which is fine I guess but I didn't know how to call someone (I literally tried to call in my cell but that didn't work because it went straight to voicemail), so after several minutes, I just shouted "excuse me" over the music. It sounded like they were having a party in the back or something because everybody seemed like they were having a good time, but they also seemed totally oblivious to the fact that there were customers. They came out, gave me the food, and I left. Maybe stick to delivery if you want their food.

I've been getting poke at Poki bowl for years and I think I've tried all the other locations but this location is my favorite. The staff there are incredibly nice and efficient. They keep the store very clean too. The proteins and toppings are always fresh! Love that they provide sushi rice as well, the rice doesn't get hard and dry when you refrigerate it afterwards.

Poki Bowl is an OG fave, and this is the very first location! Best quality of all the locations, and my bowls are fortunately loaded here. With new poke spots having more variety for the cost, I really don't come here often. However, I do genuinely enjoy their sesame oil based sauce and will fork up the $20 for a regular (used to be $11!) if I'm craving the nostalgic taste and want avocado "included". REGULAR POKI BOWL: 4.25/5 (~$20) + My order: all salmon, spicy, topped with spicy mayo + Hot take, but I really do like the "sauce" here. I think it's some blend of sesame oil and chili oil + Cucumbers and onions are cut just right, not too thin or thick. Appreciate that it's mixed in with the fish + Never had issues with quality or taste at Almaden!

I forgot why I don't order from here and today I reminded myself by accident. I was in the mood for Poki bowl and was comparing pricing between this location and another Poki spot, and this one beat out the other one on price. Once my food arrived, I immediately remembered why I don't order from this place though, their portion sizes are much smaller compared to other places, Especially for what you pay. For another three dollars I could've gotten the same bowl style from another Poki spot and it would've been full to the brim and smashed up against the lid of the bowl. I'm all about saving money, but only when it makes sense. For this spot, it doesn't make sense to get so little for what you pay when you can get a third more for a few dollars more elsewhere. The food itself tastes very good, there's nothing wrong with the quality of it at all, I am just not a fan of paying almost the same amount as other local Poki establishments for far less food.

this place was good! portion is good, fish is fresh, and lots of toppings included. however, it was pretty pricy! it's also quite disorganized and a little backrooms-esque, but seems to be a local fav! service was friendly which is always nice :)

Stopped here on our way out of town roughly 40 minutes before they closed. I've never ordered poke so it was new for me. Similar concept to Chipotle. They were out of white rice and since they were closing in less than an hour and they weren't making anymore which was fine with us and the police officer who was in line behind us. We got 2 regular bowls which totaled out to $37. A bit pricey but really tasty! The regular bowl you get 3 scoops of fish for protein. My picks were spicy tuna, ahi, and shrimp. Next you pick veggies. I had both the onions and cucumbers. Next is your sauce. Then toppings. I ordered all the toppings on mine, minus the seaweed salad and edamame since it costs extra. It was all quite flavorful for my first poke bowl experience. We were extremely satisfied!

They tip on total, which includes tax!! Tip should b on subtotal ‍

Will never come here again. This is NOT even close to hawaiian Poke. I saw the 4 star rating and wanted poke but was too lazy to drive to Aloha Fresh. What a huge mistake!! $17.25 for 3 small scoops??? The fish was warm and lacked flavor. They put so much sauce on it, there was a pool of it at the bottom of the bowl. If u need that much sauce, then ur definitely hiding something, like the fish was frozen for days. Yes, u get avocado, crab salad included but still. To top it off, they tip on total amount. Typically the tip is added to pre-tax amounts. ‍ can't believe they do this but I guess greed trumps food quality(See pic of receipt)

The food was so good so fresh, so authentic, the service was kind, friendly fast and giving the ambience was calm and peaceful. I'll definitely come back over and over and over again.

I'm not a poke expert, but I'll still give this place a 4 stars. I'm not a fan of raw fish, so yes I know I don't have the full rights to give this place a review. Lol. I been here a few times and usually get a regular bowl. It comes with 3 scoops of protein, so I just get 2 or 3 scoops of shrimp, but sometimes I feel adventurous and will get a scoop of tuna. I mean once I mix everything I kind of forget I'm eating tuna. But yeah, it includes your choice of topping and I usually get the free cucumber, onions, crab meat, avocado (1st scoop free!), green onions, sesame seed and their spicy sauce. Why is avocado free but edamame is extra? :( Also, why is there no tofu as protein option? I been to some other poke place and they have tofu as an option (I know it's a weird request). I wish there was a different price for just a shrimp bowl since I know shrimp is probably cheaper than their raw fish choice. Maybe even a no protein option aka veggies only?? Or even a kid's bowl with just crab meat sounds good to me. Sorry, I'm picky but there's other poke places with a kid's bowl and that's perfect for people like me cause I'm weird. Lol. Overall, I guess it's a decent place for poke bowl, but my review is sort of skewed since I have only tried the shrimp and tuna. It's very filling but sort of expensive for me since I'm not getting the fancy kind of fish/poke.

However, once you step inside, you're greeted with an amazing dining experience that far surpasses initial impressions. Ambiance and Decor: The interior is modern and tastefully designed, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. A standout feature is the glass wine cellar situated at the center of the restaurant, adding a touch of elegance. Even the restrooms are impeccably clean--a detail that reflects the establishment's commitment to excellence. Cuisine and Menu: While the menu isn't vast, it offers a wide range of options catering to every taste and dietary requirement. The appetizers are generously portioned, beautifully presented, and absolutely delicious. We started with the Vegetarian Spring Rolls, which included two rolls cut in half--each half the size of a full spring roll at other restaurants. Served with a well-crafted hoisin peanut sauce, the portion was so ample that we took half of it home. The Quails Appetizer was a delightful surprise, arriving as a substantial serving that resembled a main dish. The quail was expertly prepared with a mild teriyaki glaze and accompanied by a fresh side salad. Both appetizers set a high standard for the rest of the meal. For the main course, we ordered the Combination Vermicelli with Prawns and Egg Roll, requesting prawns only. The dish came in a large bowl with a side sauce and was abundant with prawns--enough to satisfy two diners. The highlight was the Salmon Wellington. Presented beautifully, the salmon was wrapped in spinach and encased in crispy puff pastry, resting on a bed of delicious lemon beurre sauce and asparagus. Words can't do justice to how amazing this dish was; we found ourselves using the fresh bread to savor every last bit of the sauce. Again, the portion was generous enough for two. Wine List: The wine list is very good and the prices are very reasonable. Service and Experience: From our seating area, we could view the kitchen through a large window, watching the owner chef work his magic. The service was impeccable throughout the evening. We personally thanked the chef for the incredible experience. Conclusion: The combination of superb service, excellent presentation, inviting ambiance, and reasonable prices made for an unforgettable dining experience. I only wish we had discovered Elements Restaurant sooner. It's perfect for a romantic dinner or special occasion, yet the pricing makes it suitable for any day of the week. Great place for bringing friends and family. I strongly recommend that you visit this amazing gem--don't wait! Note: They also offer an extensive take-away menu, which is even larger than their dine-in selection.

It's a relatively smaller restaurant and seems to be family run, with friendly staff and good service. Big wine enclosure, a separate bar area. We started out with the quail appetizer, which was a little disappointing. The quail seemed overcooked, which I'd imagine is easy to do with such a small bird, but both the cook and flavor were nothing to write home about. Just too dry. I'm not one who loves to deal with the difficulty of eating something small with minimal meat, but am more than willing to if it's prepared well and tastes great, but this didn't meet either mark. I think a closer to correct cook would have helped a lot. However, the other dishes were very good. The tea flavored duck was prepared VERY well, nice cook and delicately flavored. Liked this one a lot. Some taro there as well for carb/starch lovers - also good. I would definitely order this again. The Salmon Wellington was overall good - I think it could have been a bit more seasoned, but overall, we still enjoyed it. I'd likely not order this again, not because it wasn't good, but I'd want to try other dishes on the menu. The mango panna cotta was overall good. Not special, but solid. We'd come back here again. Nice people, good food, interesting menu.

Just never got around to working a review before. Went early on a Saturday evening recently and was surprised to not have to wait. We split a Bibb lettuce salad that was simple, refreshing and perfect. A tiny pea fritter was the very definition of a small bite, and while it wasn't what I expected, it was crisp and tender. Grilled artichoke was one of the best I have ever had. (Just wish they had been explicit on the menu that it was a half a grilled artichoke). Cocktails were up to their usual high standard -- rye Manhattan for the BF and clarified milk punch for me. I don't get out much these days and I rarely drink alcohol, but is $20 a lot for a cocktail? Or is that normal now? They were great though. BF got the ribeye with morels, which was perfectly cooked and unbelievably tender. I had the burger, which was more exciting than it sounds, dressed with a wild combo of veggies, cheese and bacon while still managing to be harmonious and fresh tasting. Side of fries were crisp and tasty, though not as perfectly hot as I would ideally wish. Because the burger was late coming out, or server (Bernardo I think?) comped us an amazing little dish of vanilla soft serve ice cream with olive oil and sea salt, along with the butterscotch pudding that we ordered. The pudding didn't have the strong butterscotch flavor that I hoped for, but the vanilla ice cream stole the dessert show. OCK isn't a place I can afford often, but I still really like it. I appreciate the creativity of the dishes, the quality ingredients, and the bar. And the old-school shopping center vibe of the Pruneyard is low key festive and garden-like. The interior of the restaurant is kind of standard-industrial modern, but nicely so. Oh, and their glassware is super nice.

I have reviewed here before but a lot has changed recently and I love it. Firstly I want to point…read moreout that Denise (I hope I'm spelling it correctly) gave us the best service we have ever received. She was bubbly and genuinely seemed like she enjoyed working there. She was attentive but not overbearing and gave great recommendations. Even if the food was not good, we would still come back because she made it such a pleasant experience. Thankfully the food is also amazing. I have always been addicted to the triple B and the KFC so I was nervous when I tried the new versions recently. I enjoyed them both more than I had previously. The triple B was smaller but the biscuit had much more flavor, depth and was more pillowy. The KFC had always been my favorite and the new version did not change that at all. The chicken was much juicier, and it had a lot more substance. The chicken pieces were thicker and the sauce was delicious. It's reminiscent of a chicken and waffle dish because I believe the sauce has some sort of maple syrup. The dishes have changed but I'm a huge fan of the change. I will continue to come here and I am glad to see that this place doesn't seem to want to stop getting better.
