The ambience of the store is simple decor, but displaying sushi & musubi options. Their standard is a 3 scoop fish bowl. Though, they now have a 2 scoop fish bowl. We were originally heading to MoDo for their poke bowl, but they were sold out by the time we got there. It was too late to drive to Aloha Fresh, so my daughter found this place and suggested we give it a try. The interior is nice and spacious, and there's a decent amount of parking in this small complex. It's located next to Buffalo Wild Wings Express, which we may try another day for their BOGO deal. The menu has a lot of options, and the rolls seem reasonably priced. Unfortunately, the rolls stop at 7:30 PM, so it was too late for us to order the chu-toro, maybe next time. We ordered the viral spicy salmon nachos and a regular 3-fish bowl. The nachos came with a lot of tortilla chips but very little salmon. I did like the guacamole and the mix of corn and other toppings, but overall it was just okay. I still prefer the poke nachos at Aloha Fresh, they're cheaper, has more fish, and saucier. As for the 3-fish bowl, the portions of fish seemed small. We're used to the scoops at Poke House, which are bigger and slightly cheaper. The bowl was fine, but nothing special. I've been here a couple times now, both times have been very pleasant! Their fish is fresh, and they have a Hawaiian style option which is yummy. Prices are reasonable with all the toppings you get and the portions they give you. They have many sauce options, just let them know if you want extra on your bowl (I didn't and I wish I had asked for more!). They also have other to-go items ready to purchase on the side too if you're in a rush. The workers are also friendly and nice. There is a good amount of seating inside (at least 5 tables that can seat 2-4 people) and the sound levels are moderate. Everything also looks really clean. Their chutoro roll is the best value and price in the area and their bowls offer quite a few choices and have always been fresh for us. Their topping selection is always fun to choose from also! Wow, Poke Poke Fish bar has increased $7 per bowl from the last time I visited (right before the COVID shutdown). Like before, the quality is amazing, food is delicious and they don't skimp out on the rice. However, for $21 per bowl before tax and tip, I would've appreciated if avocado or seaweed salad was included in that price. If I were to get those two ingredients, it would've increased the bowl to $25 ($2 per each addition). I do have to say that this is the first time I've had kimchi in a poke bowl and it was so good. I do miss that they stopped offering the hot Cheeto topping since my husband and I reference this place as the "Hot Cheeto poke place", but it's not a deal breaker. I also finished all of my toppings and still had a substantial amount of rice left (which is a good thing because most other poke places skimp on rice for some reason). In the past, I've had employees warn me that the crab will cost extra, like I wasn't expecting that. Sometimes, I'm charged for the scoop of crab; sometimes, I'm not. This inconsistency has always given me a slightly uneasy feeling. But two recent employees have taken the confusion of what I don't think should be all that confusing an order to new heights--one of them was asking me today how many scoops of tofu I wanted! After two visits in a row of dealing with those two having an issue with my order and then taking a look at the online menu, I am convinced that the menu isn't clear. We were on the hunt for lunch and I noticed Poke Poke. We did a quick check on yelp and saw the decent ratings. The menu looked familiar and we decided to give it a try. There are several 30-minute parking spaces in front. Walking in, the dining area was clean and spacious. The ordering counter was deeper into the restaurant. We had arrived at about 11:25 and it appeared that they were still setting up for the day. Everything was clean and organized. The young lady who started our orders was wearing a mask and probably spoke a bit too quickly, causing her to have to repeat phrases that guests couldn't hear or understand. If she slowed down just a tad, she would most likely be able to accomplish improving ordering times. She began the assembly of my bowl as I ordered. Brown Rice with Regular Crab, Cucumbers and White Onions. The second person on the assembly line added the proteins, Salmon, Shrimp and Yellow Tail, and House Sauce. Third position added toppings; Avocado (+$1.50), Edamame; Green Onions; and Mango; I passed on the Crunchy Toppings. The bowl appears to be on the smaller side but is actually quite filling. In general, everything looked and tasted fresh. But in my opinion, there were a few minor things that need attention. No where on the menu board did I notice the Crab or Spicy Crab. It is listed on the online ordering menu. This is something that every Poke place that we've eaten at has ordered. Except that everyone else describes either Krab or Imitation Crab. I felt that the House Sauce overwhelmed the rice, making it too salty. It would be good to reduce the amount used. The combination of Ponzu and Soy makes it too sodium forward. Service was okay, good eye contact and friendly. I imagine it might get hectic when the lunch rush walks in the door. Was in the mood for poke while I was in the city of Santa Clara and needed to find a new place to go to after the one I used to go to in the area started going downhill. It was overall an alright experience, and one that I would maybe want to try again if I had the chance. My order came to a total of $19.59 (with tax), and I ordered the regular bowl. I don't recall exactly what I got outside of ahi tuna, salmon, imitation crab, masago and brown rice, but I remembered feeling satisfied enough when eating it. The service was friendly and there was a nice and calm ambiance, which made it feel like it would be a great place to work. Unfortunately for me parking was relatively difficult and I couldn't stay for long as a result of being in a thirty minute parking space, so I couldn't enjoy the ambiance for that long.
