My husband and I love this place. We've practically tried e v e r y t h i n g and let me tell you something (several things actually) : - Service is always top tier BUT they can get super busy! That's how you know when a restaurant is good! Take out is good but food always tastes better if you dine in. - If you love Caesar salad .. they make *the best* AND they make the dressing from scratch! I've tried many, MANY different variations of Caesar salad in my life and theirs is my favorite. - Bread Pudding. You need to order one for yourself if you're coming with your spouse / planning to share with someone. Thats it. Don't bother trying other desserts here because they will never compare. I normally prefer fruity, light desserts but I'd ignore all of them just for their bread pudding. - I have told my husband countless times how much I love hamburgers and how I can eat them everyday for the rest of my life - HAPPILY. My dad used to make the best ones before he passed away and their hamburger (brisket-chuck blend) is the closest thing to his. - The crab cakes? Best in town. We went to an expensive restaurant last week and their crab cake does not compare to Fisherman's Corners. - Listen. Just take it from someone who loves to eat and enjoys *good* food. There are people out there who love to eat but will eat anything thats edible and say it's delicious. Not me OR my husband. We want something made with high quality ingredients, for a great price, f l a v o r f u l, and just perfectly crafted. read more

This is really great food. Very casual atmosphere with really fresh seafood choices. Not fancy but great for lunch.

My wife and I heard about this EXCELLENT restaurant from a couple from Missouri while on vacation in Perdido Key Beach last week. They told how good it was. We both had the Red Snapper stuffed with crab, on a bed of yellow rice. For desert I had Key Lime pie and she had Bread Pudding. Words cannot express how GREAT IT WAS. Now, with that being said, the food was Excellent but the Service we received was over the top. We've eaten at several High end restaurants for the past 26 years and Fisherman's Corner was by far the BEST!! IT was not a dinner, it was an experience!!! I would recommend Fisherman's Corner to anyone looking for the BEST SEAFOOD RESTAURANT EVER. Just a mention: It was so good, we went back out last night in Perdido Key Beach and had another superb meal and the owner's son came to our table, thanked us for coming back again as he had seen us on our first visit and we had a good friendly conversation. Again, if you are anywhere close to Pensacola Beach or Orange Beach, it's well worth the drive to visit Fisherman's Corner! read more

WOW. Best meal we have had in a month of traveling. We tried the almost famous gumbo! Delish. Then we shared the seafood combo. Blackened shrimp and Maui Maui, fried ocra and hush puppies. All came out hot and perfectly cooked. Chris our server was polite and attentive. Brought home a bread pudding. Looks great. I'll let you know. Love the atmosphere and decor. Real napkins and silverware that actually isn't so flat it works. You feel like you've found a little secret gem. We are here a whole month and I'm thinking this will be our go to place. read more

The service was friendly and welcoming, Melissa was happy to see as the first customers of the evening. The food was very good, we were very hungry, missed lunch, and we had just the right servings of tasty fish and delicious mac and cheese with tenderloin. Playing up the NOLA connections might be a good way to differentiate this place from other local seafood stops. The place is truly a fisherman's shack but was warm and cozy on a cold evening and cute in its own way. Remember it's under the bridge on the side opposite the gulf! We will be back! read more

Lovely homey ambiance with great service, made-to-order delicious food (and fresh flowers on the table!). They had a wide variety of food options besides seafood. Highly recommend, and it's close to the big lagoon state park if you're planning on visiting that as well! Our server Brad was awesome! read more

It's amazing and we always go when down visiting and wanting seafood. The shrimp and grits ball are really good.

I don't like to give glowing reviews of places that are too good. I don't want them to become more crowded. (Really!) But they really deserve a 5 star review. We have been visiting this restaurant for at least 10 years and can't remember an unsatisfactory meal. The food is excellent, service excellent. We arrived before 5 pm and it was already a 20 minute wait. They do have an outside bar which makes the wait easier! read more

Looks like a dive restaurant by design. Clean, but weathered boards, floor, windows etc. I like that the tables have tablecloths with a butcher paper layer on top. The kids enjoyed drawing on it while we waited. The waiter was helpful and patient. The kids chicken tenders were good, looked in house made. The blackened Mahi and blackened snapper sandwiches were phenomenal! They were also priced well. I want to come back just for them again! If you want a great grilled or blackened fish sandwich this is a must go to place. read more

Came here with my wife and friend for some dinner. The wait wasn't too bad (~30 minutes), but they have a new bar area set up outside the restaurant as a waiting area where you can grab a drink or two while you wait for a table. The staff in the bar area was nice, along with a new trainee -- learning to pop the cork on a wine bottle and open the beer bottles -- new. I did not have a drink outside, but I heard that the house wine was a very good kind -- not a "cheap" or low-quality bottle. Once we got seated, Wes (our waiter) greeted us, made some top-notch recommendations, and checked in with us often enough to not feel forgotten, but also not so frequently that it was annoying (we have all experience both, right?). I got the ribeye with the steam vegetables and fries on the side -- phenomenal!! There was a little too much spice/rub on it so my wife thought it was spicy, but overall I made the right choice. The temperature was perfectly done and it was very filling. My wife got the Creekstone Bone-In Pork Chop w/ Blackberry BBQ Sauce which was likely the most tender and flavorful pork chop that I have had anywhere in my recent memory, while our friend got the Creole Seafood Alfredo -- this was enough to feed 2-3 people, so if you want to try a few things off the menu, know that this one can be split. I don't know why I waited so long to come to Fisherman's Corner, but I can say that it will not be as long of a wait before I am back. read more

Our first visit and Shawn was our server and great help. We had spicy oysters, as appetizer and was amazing. I'm not big on 'hot' and it was perfect. Have a vacation home nearby and while I've been around this little area by the water multiple times, I never tried this place. After 2 years of seeing it, we decided to give it a go. We were not disappointed. Table for 8 was probably the biggest table in this cozy restaurant. We tried multiple plates: the steak special, pork chop with blackberry sauce, fried chicken breast, seafood sampler, and a blackened fish dinner. Everything was scrumptious. One of the steaks came out a little overcooked to medium well, but not enough to send back as it was still good to eat. As we all shared bites with each other, consensus was the pork chop was the best main dish, and the mashed potatoes with the andouille sausage was the perfect side. Everything we ordered were well above average. Our waiter Wes was excellent. He kept our drinks filled and certainly answered all our questions regarding the menu. We'll certainly be back. read more

Service is great, food is also really good. It's kinda hard to get into during certain times of the year or day. I wish they offered another veggie choice other than zucchini and yellow squash. I also wish they would bring back the baked potatoes and sweet potato fries. Either way we will be back. Btw, the bread pudding is not to be missed! This is a great hidden restaurant. It is located under a bridge and has very little seating. Everyone was happy to be there and enjoying the good atmosphere and great food. I enjoyed the fried green tomatoes and the grilled Mahi mahi-mahi and will be back soon. read more

Whenever I'm in town, this is the first place I go to. Excellent fish dishes--we've never disappointed. Server Josh was terrific. Very attentive regarding food allergies. We had our first visit here to eat with Jesse as our server. He was excellent! We started with the fried green tomatoes that were to die for. My mom had the seafood sampler with fried snapper, shrimp, oysters and fried okra. DELIGHTFUL...their batter is heavenly. I had the grilled snapper and veggies and it was cooked perfectly with a yummy flavor. The lady next to us had the chicken parm that looked divine and was the most massive portion. We got there early 430pm. Empty Shaun was our server. We were a party of 5. First off take care the the big black flies flying all over your restaurant. No spevials were ever recited to us. We waited over 30m mins for our gumbo. It was very good. We waited over an hour for our food. I had the Porkchops it was very good. My other guest were not that pleased with the mahi mahi said it was dry. Just FYI Get rid of your flies read more

The best spots are always the ones frequented by the locals and not those with the flashy lights. Tucked under a bridge, this restaurant certainly meets that criteria with guests being greeted by name and hugs exchanged at a greater frequency than at a family reunion. The food and service is what draws people in, over and over again. We were enthralled watching the heaping plates of food being delivered to other diners. But this is not about quantity but quality, with everything fresh and scratch made. Our dishes did not disappoint. The creole linguine was full of shrimp and crawfish in a luscious cream sauce. The combo dinner with fish and shrimp with preparation options featured fresh fish and shrimp which we elected be served blackened and the shrimp dinner with choice of two sides was fresh and tasty. The Cajun Mac and cheese with Tasso and andouille sausage should be on every menu. Desserts too are not to be missed, the key lime pie with raspberry drizzle was a highlight. read more
