We stopped in for lunch and, despite the restaurant being almost full, we were able to place our order quickly and find a table without much trouble. One thing that stood out immediately was how tight the seating was. It was difficult for many guests to move between the tables. During our visit, I saw at least three older customers struggling to navigate the narrow aisles, and one woman on crutches had a particularly hard time getting through. Accessibility is definitely an area that could use some attention. The restrooms were also located outside and, unfortunately, were quite dingy and in need of a thorough cleaning. For lunch, we ordered the fish and chips special, crab cakes, and clam chowder. The clam chowder was the biggest disappointment-there was very little seafood and it was mostly potatoes. The crab cakes were also far too salty. I understand that crab cakes are often seasoned aggressively, but these crossed into territory that made them difficult to enjoy. The fish and chips ended up being the saving grace of the meal: crispy, flavorful, and easily the best dish we ordered. We also shared a kombucha, which was refreshing and paired nicely with lunch. Pricing was reasonable, but for me the food quality and execution didn't quite justify the reputation. Parking was also challenging, especially during the busy lunch rush. Overall, it was an average experience with a few bright spots, but there's definitely room for improvement

If Guy Fieri been here, I'm going to love this place! Came here for dinner and the place was bustling with a line out the door. Everyone in line was hungry and excited to get inside and order. When it was my turn, I got the clam chowder and the Captain's Platter with cod as my fish choice. Food came out fairly quick. They call your number and you pick it up at the counter. My clam chowder was to die for. Lots of fresh clams and potatoes. Yum! The fried clams, shrimp and cod looked like it was a little over fried. But I saw other people's plates looking the same so I started to eat mine and absolutely loved it! I'm excited to come back, enjoy a great meal and pick up some smoked fish and some of the take and bake items.

I took my boyfriend to this restaurant for his birthday. We were really looking forward to great fish dinner. I ordered the captain's platter, He ordered a swordfish taco. My food was way way overcooked. The cod was so greasy I couldn't eat it. Everything tasted the same, like old or overused oil. The clams were almost blackened and tough as plastic and the shrimp was over fried and tough. The potatoes were good. My boyfriend had flaked fish and more filling than fish. He said it wasn't bad, but burrito boy does a better taco. At least there you actually get a fillet instead of chopped fish. His potatoes were good also. So I guess we will not be going there again. Bummer

First time actually sitting down and having dinner here. Iv been coming here for a number of years for the fresh seafood. I was less than impressed with the food. I had ordered the Dungeness crab dinner, the crab meat was very mushy and watery almost like it was frozen and thawed out. I also ordered the captains platter which on the menu says you can get the fish grilled or fried. Apparently they don't grill anything and everything comes fried. They would only grill my 5 little shrimp. Because I asked for them to grill it. My muscles were very chewy and rubbery. Doubt I'll come back for dinner here again.

Fun spot for fresh seafood in a casual atmosphere. You walk in and order, they give you a number, and you wait! Ordered a bowl of clam chowder. I am a clam chowder "snob" and I enjoyed it! Clams were fresh and it was served hot, just had too many potatoes. About the time I polished off the bowl my.number was called and my Diablo pasta was ready. Linguine pasta with shrimp and scallops. Had some spice but it wasn't "Diablo" and could have had more spice. I was really impressed with the value here, dishes were under $20 and it's hard to get good fresh seafood at that price. Will have to try the fish and chips and order dessert next time!

I got the fish tacos, i prefer the wahoo over the salmon. Both are fresh and tasty. Hubby got the fish and chips, it was not oily, flaky and tasted really good. Clam chowder is a hit as well.

So glad we found this place. I got the halibut fish and chips for $20 that was very generous. The breading was very light and crunchy and I was very happy. Also enjoyed the waffle fries. My husband got three tacos - halibut, shrimp and lobster. All tacos were very good but would not get lobster next time as the price is higher and was a bit lots in the flavor of the sauce needs to be more on its own. He also felt very generous and might have been fine with just two. The bathrooms are outside and there are keys up front. Very popular but they get the food out pretty quick. Will stop here again as we pass through town.

Featured on Diner's, Drive In's, and Dives with Guy Fieri! Fun spot with crab in tanks you can view along with grab n go items like smoked salmon dips. Staff recommended the Rockfish & Chips- I was able to get it grilled. I tried it with multiple sauces, all so good and made in- house. Parking is challenging, especially with a large vehicle, but so worth the drive.

Now listen, I've eaten fish in places where the seagulls judged me harder than the chef, but Fisherman's Market in Eugene is the real deal. No fancy bells, no whistle and just honest, no-frills service and fish so fresh you'd swear it still had stories to tell. I wandered in and found a small seating area tucked away, nothing flashy, just folks there for the same reason: good food. And good food it was. The fish was fresh, cooked right, and full of flavor and none of that overworked nonsense, just straight-up tasty. If you're looking for glitz, keep wandering. But if you want a solid meal that feels like it came straight off the boat, this is your spot. I'd happily cast my line here again. I am sad my daughter is graduating because I most likely won't have a chance to be back . Sad !!

Our second stop on our road trip from Seattle to the Bay Area. We ordered the clam chowder, fish n' chips with one of the fish specials (ling cod), crab cakes, and lobster taco. The clam chowder & fish n' chips were the stars of the show here! The fish n' chips had the perfect fry, super thin and crispy, no mush, and an amazing contrast with the juicy fish inside. The fries here were also pretty good, especially with the cajun sauce (even though the bang bang sauce is their staple, I think). Clam chowder was excellent, though a tad salty for me but a solid standard New England clam chowder with a generous serving of clams (god bless). The crab cakes were interesting--the texture wasn't particularly for me, but I liked that they had a bit of a spicy kick to them! Lobster taco was decent, although I think I would have preferred to eat this without the tortilla. The filling was amazing and the bang bang sauce definitely stood out here and helped to highlight the lobster, but the tortilla didn't mesh too well with the flavors of the filling. Friendly & fast service, I want to come back and have more fish n' chips with different fish LOL.

The food here is delicious and a wonderful spot for freshly caught seafood! Service is friendly and welcoming. They make everything to order so it's fresh and hot. I ordered the special Ling Cod Fish n' chips with a cup of crab bisque. There's plenty of seating available inside or outside and I love the inside of the place where you can see the live seafood in tanks on the right side and the overall naval theming. There's a sauce bar near the counter where you order where you can get cups of sauces of your choosing which they have a great variety of along with various toppings for your food. The crab bisque was rich and creamy and was well-seasoned. I love the generous amount of crab meat they put inside and it was one of the best soups that I've had. The ling cod fish & chips were delicious. The ling cod was fresh and moist on the inside and the batter on the outside was crispy and crunchy and combined with their sauces, they were fantastic. If you are in Eugene and are a fan of seafood, you have to come check out Fisherman's Market! They have so much variety to choose from and you won't be disappointed!

Craving fish and chips... so off I go. 3 piece fried cod, and decided to sub a salad for the fries (healthier, right? :) ) I love all the fresh seafood swimming around in tanks... I will have to try some fresh crab next time! Delicious! Great atmosphere... and lots of cool things to eat! Great service too! I really enjoyed this visit!

They were a little pricier compared to what I'm used to paying, but I figured it was fair because, we in Eugene do not have easy access to a lot of items that are found in our local chain grocery stores. I came across the produce section and was excited to find 2 bags of taro leaves (we call it luau leaves back home). The two packages they had, looked like it had smaller leaves than I preferred, but looked really fresh. I was planning on surprising my family by making palusami since I only had 2 bags and didn't have enough for make laulau. I had all of my ingredients laid out and ready. Imagine my surprise and disappointment when I opened the taro leaf packages and found that inside the nice and fresh leaf, were small, wilted, yellow, brown spotted, broken and ripped with holes taro leaves! These are basically the leaves that a grocery store should not be selling and instead, they decided to deceive their customer by wrapping those leaves with a nice, fresh one on the outside. I felt so disappointed in this store! I'm from the island, I know my taro leaves. If they did this purposely thinking other people will not notice, shame on the store. I know many have raved about the produce here, and I hope that this is a fluke. I will try again in a couple of weeks. If I get similar results, I will need to talk to the owner about getting a better vendor. Or i'll just order it from back home and pay that shipping charge.

There are also daily specials. We had a salmon sandwich with a side of fries and grilled yellowtail with rice which was the special for the day. The salmon sandwich (ordered no sauce or shredded cabbage) was good but nothing special. I'm sure the cabbage and tartar sauce would have given it a bit of zip. The fries were ok. The yellowtail didn't have much flavor until you out what tasted like a light teriyaki. It had brown rice which was nice & chewy and the sauce gave it flavor. You really have to cook fish with flavors like garlic, lemon or something to give it flavor. Service was really good. They were very willing to put things on the side or remove them. I don't think I'd go back. If it's nothing special, I'm not going to pay for a meal out.
