This time I decided to order the atomic sauce in dynamite spice level. It was too spicy for my husband. I think I can definitely go even one level higher. We ordered combo #2 with shrimp heads on this time. Everything tasted great. I wish there was an option of substitution. I would rather get more corns than sausages. The sausage was really hot dogs. Another nice meal from a franchise that is very consistent. We ordered the Combo #2 that includes lots of shrimp & 1 lb of snow crab legs. Lunch is a good time to go cuz they have both lunch specials (for simpler meals if not craving a boil in a bag) & happy hour specials. Likely not as busy as weekend nights too. Can attest that ordering at the "dynamite" level of spiciness could be too hot for many diners. Food was delicious and the robot server is adorably polite. Only minor complaint were the portions of the corn, potatoes & sausage (basically a few slices of hot dog). The location has been so many different things over the years, ever since the ol' pizza place left so coming in to have all the seating on one level was a new experience and the lightened up, coastal decor was a change. The staff was friendly and efficient, but the robot "waiter" really threw me off. I don't quite understand it... other than carrying more than two things at once, I wasn't sure if we were supposed to interact with it or what. I was not prepared for that haha. Anyway, we ordered the Combo 2 (crab and shrimp w/o heads) and the waiter talked us into the Louisiana flavor with medium spice. Plus we ordered a cup of clam chowder and sweet potato fries. We had barely started on those items when our bag arrived. The provide gloves, bibs, a bucket and plastic utensils, plus wipes for after. You will need it. Our waiter was even trying to convince us to throw food at each other. The food was very good, you know its probably terrible for you with all the butter and salt but still delicious. It was a very good experience, and had leftovers. If anything, they needed extra gloves, mine fell apart. Anywho, I will return. YES it is expensive but hell, its seafood, when isn't that expensive? Oh my goodness! Such great tasting food. Full of flavor. I was very surprised to see a robot bring us our food. She's very, very intelligent and knows exactly where to go. We got the crawfish boil bag. It came with crab legs, crawfish(only a few were no good), it happens! Anyway it also had scallops, garlic and mini potatoes. We had an excellent waitress and she was running around like crazy because they were understaffed, but she was super nice and apologetic! We told her no need to apologize. We went during opening weekend as this is a chain with locations in Portland and salem both of which do quite well so we had some good expectations but obviously giving some grace because they are new. We got Dungeness crab, snow crab legs, and headless shrimp. We also added potatoes, 1 egg, 1 corn, and rice on the side. We got the atomic sauce in mild which was actually quite spicy and I would rank it a medium actually. It was very good and hit the spot. Next time I want to add more eggs and more corn and get more shrimp as we didn't realize the price was just to add one of each. Our waitress was very nice and everybody seemed quite relaxed for Saturday of opening weekend. Give this place a shot. Food was tasty, however with only a plastic fork provided, and no option for a metal fork it was very difficult to eat my hot food without the fork deforming. Service staff were kind and accommodating. The booth chairs were decently comfortable but the tables were awful. The table didn't fit the width between the booth chairs so when you're trying to eat your messy food over the table you have to bend over quite a bit which really hurts the back. By the end of my meal by back was hurting quite a bit. In order for my to have a good experience next time, I would have to sit at a table with a chair so I can sit close to the table and bring metal utensils from home since the restaurant can't provide them. If the above things were fixed as well as removing problematic items from the menu and retain good staff, then this could be a successful business for many years. read more

I also asked for a receipt and did not receive anything itemized so I have no idea whether I was charged correctly or not. this was a fun romp for eating crab and other seafood but when I pay over $100 for three people, I guess I expect more concerning hospitality and ambiance. if you're looking for good seafood and don't mind a big bill at the end for a picnic-like atmosphere, then go for it. as for us, it was a one time visit for us. we will not be back. read more
