Had one whole lobster and a lobster roll. Both very good. The lobster roll was available different ways - that was neat - and was not loaded with mayo (I could never see the point of loading a lobster with mayo like so many places do.) French fries were great (tasty and crispy) and the potato salad was absolutely delicious. read more

Excellent, amazing, incredible. This place is clean. Smells like nothing, a sure sign of a good fish market. Lobster and Steamers were perfect and sweet. Highly recommend it. Just wish they didn't use styrofoam. read more

Seafood chowder was awesome. That said, bring your own crackers. Steamers were well priced but served without juice. Don't bring this to their attention as I'm the only person who requested it. This isn't my first time at Fisherman's Catch. Lobster rolls are a hot commodity in Maine, and where my earlier experiences were pretty great (3-4 star material), my last few have fallen short. Sure, I like a lobster roll with a copious amount of lobster. But these don't taste fresh, they have a watery texture that makes the $16.95 price tag a little hard to take. My husband and I both had the lobster and steamers. Cooked to perfection. The teens enjoyed their chicken fingers too. Great fish place at the picnic tables. Outside was a little breezy when we were there but there is inside seating too. read more

A great fish market with lobsters clams muscles fish etc. they will cook your lobsters for you if you call ahead or don't mind waiting. They also have a restaurant area where mostly fried seafood, although they do have non fish options and non fried options. A great quick casual place. read more

The scallops were good. Service was good. Shrimp however was not as good as Bobs Seafood. I found it to pricey for the quality of the food.

Got there at about 6:30, got our order in at about 6:45... Didn't get our food until 7:30-7:45... That's the only knock I have against the place, they were polite and apologized for the wait and threw us some extra fries and shrimp, which we appreciated. Now for the piece of resistance... The lobster role, mind you this was my first of the season and i had by doing to try one...it did not disappoint. Standard toasted hotdog role with what has to be a whole lobster just thrown on it. Very light mayo and butter, which made it all the tastier. I dare someone to eat this thing without spilling half the meat all over your plate, it's that loaded... Overall the food was great! Really like the new patio area they added this year. Maybe just caught them at a bad time/day. read more

I went to Fisherman's Catch on 8/14/20 to pick up my take out order. Food at this location is very good. But no employees wear masks at all. Not sure why that is. On this night I went in there was a large group there about 12 or so. No one in the group had a mask as well as no employees. The people in the group were sitting at the long tables inside, which are about 3 ft to 4 ft from the regInter. The group was ordering as well as walking around the fish market part of this place and going outside and inside the place too. I was waiting trying to stay away from the group. At times they were within 1 to 2 ft of me. I saw a man in the fish market part of this restaurant on a computer so I went over and spoken to him about the lack of ANY social distancing. His answer to me was: there are signs on the door regarding distancing. Then he went back to his computer. Wow! Good customer service. I also noticed everyone gets the same pen to sign. Most places have a clean/ good pen cup and a used pen cup but again not here. I live in this town and support local businesses but apparently the owner doesn't care about customers. I will not ever come back. When I finally got my order I noticed the license plates in the parking lot interesting many not local but in there with no masks. How disappointing. read more

It was a truly close call between 4 and a 5 star rating but a couple of minor things dropped it from perfection.Prices are appropriate and amounts are greater than other area places. We got it as take out and I felt it was some of the best in the area. Tried smelt and found them delish. Great scallops, shrimp, and whole belly's. Their slaw was a pleasant surprise as well -fresh and nearly perfect ratio of sauce to veggie. I can't imagine eating in though it was crazy busy and extremely loud. I found staff very nice and its location is right across the street from a small harbor with a great beach for walking when the tide is out. There is also a playground and roofed-in eating facility with picnic tables. This is the real deal. By the way my wife had a pulled pork sandwich topped with sweet potato fries and said it was great! I was honestly not expecting such great lobster rolls. We just came from the NH coast and had a bunch of lobster rolls there and this place beat them out! Loaded rolls and you choose how you want the lobster and the roll. Mayo, butter, plain etc. Roll; grilled, plain etc. only comment would be bigger chunks of meat rather than the small ones and better beers. Very reasonable for portions. The best lobster rolls by far. Zero filler -- all fresh, tender, sweet lobster. No need to go anywhere else. Get the lemon-pepper and buttered/toasted roll. Have a local Maine beer while you wait, too. We went here 3-days in a row for lunch -- it's that good. read more

Got a steamed lobster - which was good. The tools to get into the lobster were plastic and totally inadequate. They were kind enough to let me borrow a metal nut cracker to get into the tough shell. My husband's meal of fried clam strips and shrimp was less satisfying. Shrimp were great, but he thought the clam strips had an after taste. read more

Staying in Maine for a week and tried lobster rolls from all around the town. The Lobster roll here was the best one out of any that I ate for a number of reasons. They didn't dress up the lobster with other fillins, just straight lobster, and they put the most lobster meat in the sandwich by almost twice as much as other sandwiches I have eaten. I got to the point where I was tired of trying other places rolls and I would only buy from this location. Highly recommended for lobster rolls. read more

Follow-up to my earlier review: There is no doubt this business will continue to be successful providing top-notch food and service, as the ownership took full responsibility for the less-than-ideal service we experienced yesterday at the end of the day. We received a personal call from the owner himself, and the situation was resolved to our complete satisfaction - we are more than comfortable with making Fisherman's Catch our "go to" place for delicious, fresh lobster & other great seafood. Although the food is good the service is horrible. We placed our order and when served received the wrong order. When we told the server it was wrong we got a very snide response of "that's what you ordered". Lobster rolls shouldn't be rocket science. So we ordered again, payed again, and they feigned that they never received our second order. Options for the rolls, garlic, plain, or toasted, and different lobster mixes like light mayo, lemon pepper were welcome. It's a busy place! Cheap, tasty beer and fat, fatfatfat lobster rolls. Perfect after a few days on Trickey Pond. Got the twin rolls and was obscenely full afterward. I honestly wished the lobster had more seasoning, but I'm sure most people would disagree. Just several ounces of precious meat and mayonnaise, or lemon, or butter, and you can't complain too much. I'm the weirdo who wants some dill and celery in there. But these are monsters and if you want lobster, you got it, kid. The rolls were AWESOME. The onion rings were pretty good and plentiful for the price. It was not a cheap meal at all but it was filling and it was lobster and those are two good things that don't always go together. One employee was really friendly but a lot of them seemed bummed. Maybe because they're inside shucking lobsters instead of outside eating them. You boys did good!
