My nephew had the teriyaki chicken, unfortunately the first chicken he got was undercooked and he didn't want to get sick, general manager Nick came over and was amazing to him! Well the employee, who do not show case any form of customer service. There were so many people lost and confused. To break it down, each "Order Here" has their own area of what can be ordered by the pound and/or cooked. So not all lines are equal. There is a crab line, seafood boil/pre-seasoned seafood, oyster, clams, I think I saw fish and fried platters, which was the longest. If it's gonnabe 30 mins plus, say 40 mins, gimme a bs reason, short handed, etc, I don't care!But why would you tell me it'll be 10 mins?! So finally got the food. Flavor was pretty good. Lobster, was okay. I wished the shrimp had the head on. Clams were big. Sausage was good. Potato seemed like the diced ones from a can, they were so small. The crab, however, is the driest. Yep, for a place that exclaims "Quality Seafood," it was kind've of a let down. They taste like the bottom batch of the crab at Las Vegas buffet. Easy valet or self - parking but $6 for valet is quite affordable. Nice view of the marina and some people watching from the event room we occupied. Audio and video equipment was working well for the speeches and other presentations. It's a cool drive through the hills to get to the marina. I didn't take a lot of photos of the space. Servers were attentive and friendly. Parking attendants were quick to bring out our cars.

Nick's Manhattan Beach will always hold a special place in our family's heart…read more In August 2025, I made a dinner reservation at Nick's because my parents were visiting from out-of-town and we had some exciting news to announce: we were pregnant with our first baby! :) On the reservation, I noted this, and didn't expect much. The day of the reservation, the host manager called to confirm that we wanted to share the news at dessert, and if there were any other accommodations we needed, which was very sweet. When we arrived at our table, they had a card signed by staff congratulating us, and it was a night to remember. Great food, great service, and the warm hand towels after my dad demolished the baby back ribs were the cherry on top! Our group also ordered the chilean sea bass, salmon, and bistro plate. 10/10. One of our final meals as a family of two was Valentine's Day 2026. It was our first time being seated indoors, and the ambiance was dim and romantic. The meatloaf special was fantastic! Fast forward to June 2026, and we brought our 3-month-old son to his first NIck's meal (unfortunately, he could not partake) and to celebrate my husband's first Father's Day. On this reservation, I put in a request for outdoor seating that gave us enough room to park our stroller and car seat, and they were able to accommodate that. They were also understanding when me and my husband were running a few minutes past our reservation time due to fhe baby, and we appreciated the flexibility. The smoked paprika chimichurri gave a burst of flavor and a mild heat at the back of my throat. Chilean Sea Bass - Chilean sea bass always cuts like buttah! 2 people ordered this at our table and I'm pretty sure they loved it, that side of the table was pretty silent for 15 - 20 mins. Pork Porterhouse - This dish had the most flavor. The spaetzle was cooked and browned on the griddle, it had a fantastic crispy crust. It was a little on the salty side BUT I think 's because it needed more carbs to tame the salt. For me, it would have been PERFECT with a little rice or mashed potatoes or creamed sunchokes. Parking still sucks in MB but right behind the restaurant is a parking garage that's free after 6 pm.
