I really like the food here. Although, it is a tad too salty. Everything is seasoned, including the rice. My whole family loves the rice. My daughter's chicken tenders were too salty for her, so I tried it and I agree. The salmon is delicious, cooked perfectly, and seasoned well. The beef short ribs, were a little fatty, but very tasty. The veggies are cooked perfectly and seasoned nicely. The chicken katsu was cooked perfectly, but I wasn't fond of their sauce. Real katsu sauce tastes much different, this one was very sweet and fruity. The children's salmon bowl is a perfect size meal for me (an adult woman). I lived in Southern California for 20 years and fish tacos there as so fresh it hardly needs any seasoning. Well I ordered my fish with no sauce and it was the saltiest and over seasoned fish that I couldn't even taste the fish without feeling like I was licking a block of salt. Finally tried this place today with my little one and I loved it! I ordered the shrimp tacos which came with the fries and it was so so so good! The shrimp were a good size and tasted fresh!! Also ordered the popcorn shrimp for my son and he loved it as well!! Shrimp were cooked perfect and the fries are very tasty! Wish they had a juice or milk option for the kids meal instead of just soda but no biggie. Definitely will be coming back since the good was so good. Oh and the prices are very reasonable. My husband and I went here while craving seafood and ordered the fish and chips and the shrimp pasta. Our order took almost 20 minutes to prepare and was very disappointing. The fish was coated in breadcrumbs, not the typical batter I enjoy for my fish and chips, and the pasta was basically cheap spaghetti with 6 shrimp on top. The fish was not greasy, crispy, though it's breaded not battered. While it's not authentic fish and chips, it's fresh, tasty, and a good amount of food. My friend's tacos also looked good. I loved the kids salmon rice bowl - it had salmon, rice, broccoli, carrots and cabbage. My kid liked the taste and I was happy it was a balanced meal. Salmon bowl on the grown up menu is similar, you can sub brown rice in place of white. I had the fish sandwich which was good, bread mayo, the works, but that you probably can find any place. I had also had 2 tacos for $3 something each - they were good as well, went fast - had a bit too much mayo / sweetness for my liking. Nit - in my togo taco order they had lined up all the fish in one taco and I had to redistribute that. space is is on the smaller side with few tables, ample parking in the lot. With all the glowing reviews this place has received, I was hoping there was finally a decent spot to have fish in the South Bay that wasn't sushi. Not that there's anything wrong with sushi, but sometimes that's not what I want. Tried it out today and the experience was thoroughly disappointing. I got the salmon pasta, and where do I even begin... The fish was overcooked, the pasta was overcooked, and there was so much sauce in there it might as well have been a noodle soup. Also, it was set up kind of like a fast(ish) casual kind of joint but it actually took quite a while for the food to come out. To think, a shorter cook time would've solved BOTH problems, heh. We come here often but will NEVER go back again. HUGH SANITARY ISSUE. We order our food and sit down. The woman working the counter comes over and tried to give us food that isn't ours. We reject the food and she went straight to the next table to offer it to them. My meal came out (it usually does come out first never together) as we wait for my husband's meal the people whom came in after us started to get their food. My husband noticed that a plate exactly the same as what he ordered landed on their table. The other customers shifted through the food, ate bits and pieces and then informed the woman at the counter is wasn't theirs after touching/eating it. The woman looks up from her cell phone and rushes over, picks up the plate and comes back to our table to give it to my husband. My husband asked if that was the plate off of the other table, she said yes and placed it in front of him. I told her that the other customers had eaten off of it! There was half of an eaten French fry on the plate if she had looked. We asked for our money back. She tried to make him another plate but we were so grossed out that they would give us recycled food! We go to the counter to get our money back and they were going to give him a plate... most likely the same one. We will not return to this establishment. read more

I was so excited when I first found out that they were opening a new location in Cupertino! I've previously had to go to the one at west gate mall which is more inconvenient for me distance wise.
