ONLY GOOD ON THE WEEKENDS. Sad but it's quite True. I went here Monday night and the food was bland and takes a long time to cook. Servers are very nice, polite and patient. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Unfortunately the ambiance and food was not that great.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Ordered the fire cracker chicken and the food was just bland with no spice at all, seems that it was fried in a very old oil. A bit disappointed

Came here for weekend brunch on Father's Day! Got our dimsum fix and salty soymilk. The fresh pan friend chive buns were delicious as well! Was made fresh this morning. The staffs were all very nice! [[HIGHLIGHT]]It was nostalgic to see dimsum carts rolled around (11-2pm on weekends only)[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]I enjoyed the authentic ambience! Super spacious for large groups.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] It was our first time here today and definitely will be coming back to try other dishes!

The food is a little on the higher priced side but the service is always top tier. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The place is clean[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] and the weekly lunch special is pretty big. Orange chicken was really good. Overall pretty good!

China Stix has been around for a long time. We dined there a few times in the past then stopped going as there are many other new restaurants opened in the bay area. We dropped by during Thanksgiving holiday last year. I felt the previous scale of operation has been decreased. Upon entry, although they were polite, they gave us a take-out menu to look at. We got dim sums. Surprisingly they were quite good, authentic and tasty, though varieties were limited. There was only one dim sum cart and one worker serving on it. The whole set-up was lackadaisical. They have other choices in the menu but we didn't try. Service was friendly and I really liked our server. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The whole place was not too busy.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Maybe we'll come back to try other food.

Tasty Chinese food! My family loves the fish lettuce cups that are really unique here. The servers are friendly. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It is a casual Chinese restaurant.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Came here on a Saturday around noon. [[HIGHLIGHT]]China Stix was hosting a venue event, so the parking lot was super crowded -- usually the parking situation is better.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Of course, half the restaurant was reserved for the event, and there were a couple of tables filled on the other half.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] On weekend mornings, they serve a comprehensive dim sum menu. We ordered chicken feet, baozi, salty soybean milk, beef roll pancakes, and dumplings. The food came out relatively quickly, all warm. The chicken feet were soft and flavorful, the baozi were large and warm, and the salty soybean milk was appetizing and comforting. The beef roll pancakes had flaky skin with tender meat, and the dumplings were stuffed with savory filling. The service was really quick, and the rapid service and authentic dishes of China Stix makes it a reliable restaurant for dim sum. If you're craving warm, filling Chinese dishes on a weekend morning, definitely come here. I'll be back!

This review is from March 2025, it just takes me awhile to write reviews…read more I have heard that they have since had a kitchen fire but are going to re-open some time this year. They have also opened a location in Cupertino that is more convenient for me. Adding Mian to this plaza definitely livened it up, it was so difficult finding parking and then there was an hour wait when we joined the waitlist. We wandered around Grocery Outlet and Savers to pass the time. I came with a group of 6 people. We ordered the sichuan spicy fries and fried chicken cutlet to share. The fries were the spiciest item I had that day, wow! I ordered the Sichuan chicken cold noodles, extra spicy. They were not spicy at all. I left everyone at the table try them and they all agreed it was not spicy. Kind of disappointing, I expected them to be spicier than the fries at least. My partner had the chengdu zajiang noodles, mild spicy. They were good, the signature dish of the restaurant. I would return, but their spice levels are very inconsistent.

We waited for probably 15-20 minutes which wasn't too bad. The place is pretty big and fits a good amount of people. The food was great. Every single dish that we got was so good and packed with comfort and flavor. The veggies were well cooked, my favorite was the beef rolls. I would recommend checking this place out.

Felt like it was some place in Hong Kong or China. *Food: good if not great for the most part. The chef seems to be very careful or forgetful with the usage of salt though. *corn soup: 2.5/5: sweet and bland. There was no salt at all. No amount of chilli powder, salt or soy sauce helped redeem this dish. *chicken chow mein- 4/5- favorite dish on the table for all of us. Chicken was soft and didn't have a funky smell or taste. Noodles felt fresh. Dish was greasy though. *fried rice-3.5/5- came with mushrooms, eggs and some other veggies. Very nondescript and safe, felt more like a side dish rather than main. *deep fried chicken in hot pepper sauce:3.5/5- I was expecting some fire in this dish but this was unfortunately on the sweeter side as well. The chicken had a very crispy coating per description. *black bean noodles-3.5/5 after loving the version in Paiks noodle, it was difficult for me to like the version here. It was decent though, noodles seemed fresh and had a good bounce. But the sauce felt too soy saucy to me.

The ingredients within the sauce of the sweet and sour sauce for the pork is a little different and feels much more hearty. The ingredients within the spicy noodle soup also have ingredients that feel much more "Chinese". Service is a bit lacking compared to other Korean Chinese restaurants, even though there were so many people working the day we visited, which was very disappointing. Restaurant inside resembled a Chinese restaurant with throw away table placement papers. Overall, Beijing is fine. Food and service wise, I would favor others, such as Tong Soon, Koong, and Paik's. Plenty of parking in the private lot-they do have security roam around making sure that those that are parking in the lot are visiting the restaurant or neighboring businesses.

They're upholstered in fabric that looks pretty old and worn, which takes away a bit from the otherwise comfortable dining space. That aside, my husband and I really enjoyed the two dim sum dishes we ordered: siu mai and har gow. The har gow in particular was delicious. This is one of those dishes that can easily taste a little "boring" when it's not done well, but Sifu Wong nails all the flavor components. You get the sweetness of the shrimp along with sesame oil and ginger, all wrapped in that perfectly delicate, translucent wrapper. The siu mai was also solid and something I'd happily order again. The half duck was an unbeatable deal at around $24. It comes with that familiar savory sauce you typically get when ordering roast duck from a Chinese grocery store or specialty shop, and for the portion and price, it's hard to complain. We also tried the beef chow fun with black bean sauce, which was a little different from the standard beef chow fun I usually order. It's lighter in color with a wetter, saucier texture, but still tasted good nonetheless. I enjoyed it, although I'd probably stick with the traditional beef chow fun next time. Overall, Sifu Wong serves up solid, satisfying Chinese food at reasonable prices with plenty of variety on the menu. There are already a few dishes I'd happily order again, and I'd definitely come back to explore more of their dim sum offerings.
