Banquet pricing is up-front with several menu options. Note that an automatic 20% tip is added, and a $10 per table corkage fee if you bring your own non-alcoholic drinks. The beef roll pancakes had flaky skin with tender meat, and the dumplings were stuffed with savory filling. The service was really quick, and the rapid service and authentic dishes of China Stix makes it a reliable restaurant for dim sum. This place has always been solid, but the Dim Sum lunch is much better than dinner. Service is exactly what you would expect, not great, but not rude, just a little slow. The dishes are all on point, save for the peking duck. Flavor is good, but they always seem to have anemic ducks that are just a little too small, but even then the flavor and crispy texture is perfect. This is not a place I go often, but only because it is a little out of my way at this point and by the time I get over there, I realize I am not dressed for it, so I end up grabbing something else quick. read more

This is a Northern China restaurant that have been around for 15 plus years . Their dim sum lunch has been very popular. We went tiger for dinner on Sunday . Their business have gone down a lot . I was surprised that they only have to go menu and not the nice Chinese menu book. We have ordered seafood ( stir fried vegetables with giant scallop and prawn ) , beef ( scallion beef ) and pork ( salt and pepper spare ribs ) . The seafood and beef were good but the spare rib was too sticky and salty . The service was good and the waiter was very attentive. Price is very good compared to most restaurants in that area . They did not add 18 % tips on the bill . We would definitely return for more dishes . P.S. their Peking duck was good but needs 6-8 people to finish that . This time we only had 4 person . read more

The service is wonderful. I have been eating here since they opened in the 80's. I no longer need the menu and even eaten my way through the Chinese menu. My children were literally born eating here and now when they return home it's their #1 place to eat out at!! My favorite: chicken feet, sesame balls, tofu roll, cucumber salad, fish lettuce cup, snow pea leaves, kangkung, lobster with ginger and onion, sizzling beef, to name just a few. We have been eating at China Stix since the mid -1980's. The quality of their dishes are consistently delicious. I especially love the Honey Pecan Prawns. We often celebrate special occasions for family there and the service is always excellent. Well, we had plenty left (more than half our plates were full) and when we got home to put food in Tupperware for my parents separately, we had the tiniest boxes.
