I've been getting the fish tacos. Love them. You get to choose what type of fish you want or shrimp. The mango salsa is delicious.

I recently came here because a friend was raving about how good it was so I had to join him. The idea of the place is really cool, serving freshly cooked seafood style fast food when you order it. The downside for me was that the atmosphere was very loud and the chairs and tables didn't seem that clean. For the premium price I paid and the 15 minute wait (~$15 after tax) for a shrimp plate I would have hoped for me in terms of atmosphere. The food itself was good but not great. The shrimps tasted good, but largely because of the immense amount of seasoning lathered on. The grilled zucchini came highly recommended by my friend so I tried it, and it was ok. It tasted too burnt for me, which I suppose could be part of the appeal if you like the dark burnt lines achieved by grilling. The seasoning once again masked some of it. The best part for me was the shrimp, I wish I could have just gotten the shrimp without the sides, but they only sell it as a plate. Overall, I would probably come here again if I am in the area and want some seafood, but it's not somewhere I would rave about going to because of the price, time, and atmosphere of the place. If you want it togo and order ahead, you can avoid some of that, and it could be worth the premium. read more

Very nice place, it's my first time here and the food looks delicious. This place is very clean, new, trendy and not too crowded. My only complaint is the order taker looks like she's depressed since she never smiled and looked really tired of working here. EDIT: she finally smiled and laughed so I take it back! This place was good. I got Tilapia with cajun seasoning. Grilled zucchini and salad for sides. Delicious. Fresh. I think I paid something like $13, which is a little steep for lunch, but the quality was excellent. The ambiance was ok. They were watching some show of people shooting alligators-- not the best meal time show. Service was fine. Just fine. Not bad, but whoever was taking my order was clearly uninterested in my order. If you're looking for a light and healthy place to eat, I'd recommend it! It's on my list of local eats, but nothing compels me to rush back. read more

I'm so glad a place like this opened up near me! I couldn't find any California Fish Grills here so this place is the next best thing. The salmon had an EXTREMELY strong fish taste, but the rice and garlic bread were good. My husband had the short ribs (Asian flavoring) and they were very good. I'm from the east coast and our fish is fresh so it may just be a location issue. read more

I rarely do reviews anymore, but I like The Fish's Wild so much that I really have to write about them. They totally answer a need in this area for healthy, delicious, simple food that is fresh, quickly prepared, and realistically priced. This is not self-conscious, unrecognizable haute cuisine served in a tiny, artsy mound in the center of a 14-inch plate. (That's great too, of couse.) It's huge portions of fish, veggies, and grains that are good for you and affordable on a regular basis. Tonight we had the grilled salmon salad--two big pieces of grilled salmon that were still moist in the middle, on a mountain of must-be-fresh-today salad, with a side of perfect brown rice. We ordered the miso dressing as usual. Okay, I have to admit that's what we always get. We are addicted to it and start to crave it after about six days. We've also tried and loved the grilled shrimp salad--perfectly grilled shrimp, that is. And a friend enjoyed the katsu chicken bowl, with more katsu chicken than we ever expected. I'd like to say go for it, but we live kinda far so we get it delivered. It arrives in a flash, still hot and fresh. Good, good news! read more

We wanted to go to a different place nearby but since they had a long wait time and we had a flight to catch we just walked into this one. The place was almost empty. We ordered some tea , grilled chicken and grilled tilapia with steamed vegetables on the side. The food tasted very bland. Service was a bit slow. This was super tasty! It's a simple place, so perfect for a casual night when I'm feeling lazy making dinner. Service is quick as well. I had the salmon and mahi fish tacos, which were grilled and topped with a generous amount of cabbage, carrots, and mango salsa. It's a little spicy which was perfect. Service: u order ur food at the counter but they bring it to ur table. Nice cashier. Food: we had fried fish n chips, and fried fish/shrimp/tilapia tacos. The fried fish was perfect with a the tartare sauce. The french fries weren't anything extraordinary (downside to such a good fish) Now i dont think the fish is fresh (obviously frozen) but it was really good! I found this place fairly recently and am so happy I did! I've only done take-out so can't comment on dine-in experiences, but the salmon salad I order each time is always delicious! The portion size is very generous and salmon and salad greens are fresh. They use real Romaine/mixed greens, not just a pile of cheap iceberg lettuce. I like their food, even I saw them used the tong to pick up the ordering ticket one time. But, I didn't want to be too paranoid about their food safety as I never got any problems eating their food. Until, my husband got food poisoning last week. How can I be so sure about it? As we had launch together, and we got dinner from different places. I was totally fine, nothing happened to me! But he wasn't. He got a salmon dish, and he started to have bad symptoms few hours after dinner. He kept throwing up and having diarrhea for the rest of the night. This makes me not wanting the food from this restaurant anymore. They seriously need to have some food safety inspection. read more

I absolutely love this place i go there 2-3 times a week! They have a really expansive menu and the food is phenomenal. There is more to add the cashier waitress who took our order was outstanding!!! She greeted me so warmly and I originally didn't know what to get. Then she took the time to go over the menu with me which I really appreciated. I would have to say that her customer service was bar none!!! It was beyond impeccable!!!! She really knows her stuff. U just don't get customer service like that anymore in this day in age. I even asked my mother to join me for lunch there. There food was incredible they have amazing chicken and shrimp. The one thing that stands above the rest was this young lady and her customer service!! I didn't quite get her name but i know she has red hair and the best customer service I have ever experienced in my life!! We just ate here for the first, and sadly, most likely, last time. I ordered the salmon, and she, the Cajun style Mahi Mahi. My dish, the salmon, was less than fresh, I mean the best way I can describe it is as having a hint of the taste that results when food is left in the freezer too long, not fresh. My steamed vegetables were ok, just ok. My girl said that she felt like she had to wash that strip mall food taste out of her mouth with something good like dessert. She also says that the best part of her order was the salad dressing. We really expected better but you will probably survive if you eat there. read more

FINALLY! A worthy opponent to Rubio's. Fish's shrimp taco was outa this world. Five big, fat, juicy, flavorful shrimp per taco. Each was lovingly nestled in a generously spicy slaw and was delicious. Can't wait to go back and try other enticing menu items. One star is lost because of terrible customer service. I don't expect to be fawned over, but when you go to order, the cashier should at least make eye contact, smile and/or say 'hello'. It's a pretty basic skill. read more

I was so happy to find out that this location is still open! The other two local locations have closed. One of my favorite things is their fish wrap, with mahi mahi. Although I like the other dishes, this is my go-to. Love this place! I've been to the Saratoga location a dozen times or so. Been here twice, and the quality is clearly up to par with this location too. Healthy grilled fish and veggies? Yes! I want to eat my veggies here, esp the grilled zucchini. If you want it a less healthy, the fish n chips, which is kind of Japanese breading on it, light and crispy. Love the grilled salmon and shrimp tacos. Oh excellent french fries too. Service is friendly, and they have some deal with a free soda,guessing free with a meal for a limited time, unclear. read more
