I went in and met with Frank who was very knowledgeable and explained to him that I had been to Goodyear about my air conditioning issue and they did a diagnostics test and found no leaks in my system. After a lengthy discussion, I left my car to get the AC fixed. They ended up charging me $336 for another diagnostics test and told me to come and pick up my car. The AC still did not work! All they did was charge me for another diagnostic's test and gave me back my car. Total rip off. Be careful with these guys. Make sure you know what you are paying for. I feel scammed by them. it states right on their website that they offer free diagnostics to check your check engine light I get there the manager Quentin says it's $100 cash for me to do it. I called corporate corporate says it's a free service. Also the manager is telling me either it's $100 or he's not doing it do not go there save yourself the hassle that place is a scam. read more

The store manager is extremely unprofessional short tempered disrespectful and rude. He screamed at me in front of other customers because I asked a simple question. He wouldn't listen to my concerns and told me to leave the store. Several other customers were visibly upset by his behavior, and a few even left. This is not how you treat customers. Left my home this morning for work and slid from the door to the car . So much ice !!!! I went to 3 stores and no one have any ice melt . I went to Advance auto parts on West street near Rixies and Gold leaf. This location was also sold out, However Chip over heard and saw i was upset and came to my rescue. He offered to give me a bag full of the ice melt that they utilize for the store . He was very helpful and very kind. He could have just let me leave but he made sure i at least had something . Went in a snowy day to get new wipe blades and fluids. There were only 2 workers but it was a slow day and they were still helpful. Person behind cashier tells me if I need help installing the blades to let them know. I purchased blades at another Advanced Auto Parts store in NY and they installed it for me w/o being asked so I figured it wasn't a a big deal. After fiddling with it for a few moments, went back in to ask other associate to help install. He begrudgingly obliged but also told me they were technically not allowed to do that and showed me the sign out front. My bad. Then why would your other associate offer? Took him 10 sec to install it which I was very grateful for since it would likely have taken me a long time to figure it out especially being heavily preggo in the midst of a light snow fall... read more

This place is very nice, they're service is great. I had a pair of Rain x wiper baldes that i got as a gift and I had no idea how to install them, I went into the store and associate Jason was soo friendly and had a great attitude and service and came out to my car and helped me install my blades. The only down side is, the location is a littlw congested. And its annoying to get in and out of that shopping center. Also when I had originally called the store to see if they installed blades the gentleman who picked up(Kevin) said they did NOT install them, but if I came to the store he could show me a diagram how too. I went here looking for turn signal bulbs for the front of my car. What I ended up with was bulbs for the back turn signals, which I didn't need, and didn't find out until it was too late. The lady there was very mean and short with me, like she was trying to rush me out of the store, regardless of if I had the correct part or not. Come to find out there were no returns on the bulbs and I didn't appreciate her attitude. Safe to say I will never go to that location again unless there is some kind of zombie apocalypse and I need auto parts. read more

I went into the Advance Auto parts to get materials to wax my car. I was told that I needed rubbing compound and wax. I made my selection and went to check out. The Advance Auto Parts employee at the register, Jerome, asked me about my project. He was really concerned about the rubbing compound, apparently it's very abrasive and strips paint of anything? He then asked more questions and took me to the wax/soap section. As we were talking, Jerome just asked to come outside to see my car himself to evaluate the situation. Jerome told me I simply needed a good hand wash and dry with car soap and microfiber towels then use a cleansing wax. It worked great!! My car is shiny and looks fabulous, I'm SO pleased with it. If it wasn't for Jerome my car would look 10x worse than it did! He told me exactly what I needed and did not try to have me buy unnecessary items for the sake of a sale. His honesty was very much appreciated. read more
