Overall I thought it was great. I did have to wait a little, but considering they make everything almost in front of you I really didn't mind. Order accuracy could be better though.

That's a lot of guys to be with at once, shrug

Five Guys is actually one of my fantasies but don't tell anyone. However the food version of Five Guys doesn't do it for me at all. Massively overrated. I give them a 2 instead of a 1 only because my shake was really good this last time I was there. But let's focus on all the other visits, when I got a burger. The good: They're not the worst burgers and fries in the world and this location has decent service, really good sometimes. They thrilled my college roommate that would drag me here almost weekly. The bad: They're overpriced for fast food, you end up paying quite a bit more than at other fast food burger places. They're enormously overrated. Their shakes aren't really that good (but better at this location for some reason). Their burgers taste absolutely bland and I can't believe they're anything that anyone raves about. So it averages out to 2 stars for this location despite it being better than some of the others, such as the Fairfax one and Buffalo ones. If they rename to 10 Guys maybe it'll be better for the food, or maybe more cooks will spoil the broth. 10 Guys sounds so much more fun.

Jasmine the cashier is incompetent and hard at hearing. she took my order 3 times and still messed it up. I think her English skills are poor or has low iq or both. 5guys you gotta stop hiring anyone who come out of the street please! I love your burgers but your ruined my dinner

Visited on our way home from Reagan National to pick up my 17-year old son for his summer visit. Had read a few days prior that this was one of the locations where milkshakes were being tested, and thankfully it was a convenient stop. Our first visit to *this* particular Five Guys, although the boyfriend and I are seriously huge fans of the chain. They were busy, it being lunchtime on a Sunday, but the staff was friendly and very capable of handling it. Both of my guys ordered a milkshake, then we shared two small orders of fries (one cajun, one plain) and each of us got a bacon cheeseburger with our own choices of toppings. The burgers, were as always, divine, they got our orders perfectly right. The cajun fries disappeared faster than the plain, but we ate almost all of both. Both my son and the boyfriend *adored* the milkshakes. As a matter of fact, both suggested *rather strongly* that I Yelp this meal to provide definitive positive feedback to continue producing the milkshakes :D Tables were clean despite being packed, restroom was clean. We will return, especially if they keep serving milkshakes.

If you need a greasy, well-done, fast-food-style burger, Five Guys may hit the spot. But any comparison to In N Out is foolhardy.

The Great Hamburger does not discriminate. But I do. And I say this place is holy....for us burger lovers. The day: Friday~a little before the dinner rush, so I had the place to myself. No worries. The music was righteous. Soul and R And B pumping through the speakers. The order: I did a "do it yourself burger" but there was plenty of titled burgers to praise and consumer. The burger was cooked perfectly. Juicy and a hint of salt. The bun, fresh brioche-sweet and buttery. A nice selection of additives. I added avocado, lettuce, and grilled onions. I also ordered a vanilla milkshake. Well done shake. Just the right thickness, slightly less dense than soft serve ice cream. If you are a cult member of the Great Burger, then this is your church. Unfortunately I was underwhelmed. The burger didn't have as much flavor as I have had in the past and the Mac & cheese was just noodles. I was expecting cheesier baked Mac & cheese. And I think there might have been some spicy kick to them too. I picked up my order and ate it a little later, but the sweet potato waffle fries were also not satisfying as they were really limp and soft. A few pieces were crispy so that makes me think it's how they were cooked and not because of the delay in eating them. I could have crisped them up in the oven but I didn't want to go through that trouble. I didn't finish them. I still like Holy Cow but hopefully have a better experience next time.

My sister and I both ordered the steak and eggs, which came with potatoes and chimichurri sauce, and everything was absolutely delicious! The steak was flavorful, the entire meal was really good, and I would definitely order it again. For my toddler, we ordered the kids' waffle with fruit. My only small suggestion would be to offer a protein option with the kids' meal to make it a little more complete. It wasn't a big issue for us since I was able to share some of my food with him. The service was wonderful! Our server was quick, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. The restaurant itself is such a cute little spot with a nice atmosphere. It's a fast paced environment, so for the food to be this good left me in awe ( I salute their chef !! ) I started out with the crab stuffed oysters. And I almost ended right there because this appetizer was just that good ( I contemplated ordering two more servings for my meal ) the crab is more like a dip, with a cheesy sauce loaded on top of an oyster ( the best I have tasted for sure ) and when coupled with the ritz style cracker... I had to calm my tastebuds down !!! And for my entree I tried the M & T smash burger with fries and this kept my tastebuds doing its own version of a touchdown dance ( absolutely a 10 out of 10 !! ) Matt and Tony's you have a loyal customer for life ( see you next weekend !! )

My cousin was running errands in the area, so we made a reservation for a weekday afternoon. It was very easy to reserve online the day before. We were seated upstairs to the right in a very sunny room with skylights, wooden rafters, and a thin carpet. Unfortunately, the carpet isn't thick enough to muffle sound, so it was very noisy. Our server, Nadir, seemed distracted, using his phone in a corner of the dining room, and wasn't too attentive. Another female server helped him manage his tables and took my drink order. My cousin ordered the veggie quiche and I opted for the French dip. Nadir asked if I wanted cheese and I assumed it came with cheese, so I said sure. When he then listed four different cheeses, I chose Swiss. When it arrived, it was clearly not Swiss. When I pointed it out to Nadir, who was nowhere to be found until we were ready for our bill, he said, "At least it is all natural cheddar!" Hmm... Then I saw that it was $4 for cheese. Our lunch total was $60 (no alcohol). My cousin said she will not be returning due to the low quality of food and service. I'll likely give it another try, but my expectations will be much lower next time, and I'll probably just order takeout instead.

One of the special things they do is make their own syrups for their coffee drinks, I'm pretty sure they make their own sauces and dressings too because the house dressing is amazing. One suggestion is to get better ventilation, I smell like a fast food restaurant when I leave however they do have an outdoor patio that is really nice.

We were immediately greeted when we walked in and our server/bartender was extremely welcoming and friendly! We chatted for a bit and really loved the quality of service he provided. It was personable and professional. We tried the wagyu burger (perfectly seasoned and cooked, juicy!) and the hot chicken sandwich (crispy chicken, delectable sauce, overall 10/10 and a MUST). The appetizers we got Brussel sprouts (very bitter, a little soggy, overall a bit disappointing) and the ribbon fries (they were basically chips, but not seasoned or salted) topped with a mayo-based sauce that was pretty good but also pretty disappointing. We didn't have room for desserts but the main dishes and drinks were good! There is a speakeasy counterpart that is right next door with incredible cocktails. Excited to try it out soon.

Makes sense, a little more room out there anyway. We haven't been on this side of the place since it was a Sugar Shack so it was nice to see the new concept. The seats are mostly at the bar was maybe 3-4 tables around the rest of the restaurant. We got a small taster when we sat down which was really good but I do not remember what it was. The zero proof menu we were there consisted of a Blueberry, Fauxgroni, and a Honey cocktail. We got the Blueberry and Fauxgroni to start. Both were made in front of us and had very cool looking details, especially the Fauxgroni's ice cube. The Blueberry was delicious and the honey foam on top was great with it. We figured since we were there we should also grab dinner which was fully available too. Not a huge menu but had snacks and sandos with a Japanese influence. We started with the Oysters Trio and Tater Tots. The oysters came in these ceramic oysters which was pretty cool and they had an amazing flavor to them. Little sweet, little sour. The tater tots were also great because they're tater tots but the sauce really changed the flavors for us. We also got two sandos, the Hot Maple and the Miso Honey. The sandwich's were a good size. So much flavor packed in each bite. The Hot Maple had a ton of bacon jam and combined with the red onion it was a salty, sweet, sour, crunchy rich sandwich. The runny egg on top was a nice touch. The Miso Honey had a strong truffle flavor but the honey sweetness came through nicely. Also very crunchy. Lastly we got two more drinks off their regular menu, the Coffee Bean and the Hibiscus. The flavors in the Coffee Bean worked so well together. I would say it was one of the best cocktails I've had in a long time. The Hibiscus was pretty solid too but I only had a few sips. To end, as a part of our experience, we got these complimentary yuzu lime donuts. I guess as a call back to Sugar Shack maybe? They weren't bad, a little crispy but the flavor wasn't strong. Definitely a cool experience. I might not pay $20 for the zero proof experience itself but I would come back for their food and cocktails because I would say it was all on point.
