    Cheeseburger no salt and pepper

Went to 5 guys for the American experience of eating a juicy burger. Saw the menu price and I was automatically turned off. $11.39. It ended up being $12.07 after taxes. I've been going to 5 guys since the early 2000's and the burgers were way better back then and bigger. After ordering my burger I got home, opened it and they put the mayo and ketchup on different buns. It had all of the toppings that I asked for and plenty of . Bit into it and it didn't have any flavor. For $12 I'm expecting this thing to be on point. That wasn't going to stop me though. I finished it and said that will be my last time going to 5 guys.

Sign from 2005 that definitely no longer applies.

Someone should let Five guys know that inflation wasn't 200%! I haven't been to a Five Guys in a while but was flabbergasted at the excessively high prices. What once was a delicious burger and tasty fries at a great price has transformed into a grease stain and tasty fries that will run you about as much as a car payment...ok, so not quite that much, but c'mon over $24 for a burger, fries, and drink?! I had a bacon mushroom Swiss burger, fries and a beer last week for less and, surprise, it tasted better too.

I have been meaning to write a review on this venue because I love them so much I keep going back. There are two by me but this is the one I frequent the most. I don't know if their beef is grass-fed or organic but nevertheless, their burgers are cooked to order and everything is so fresh. I really appreciate how they use green lettuce and leave the white lettuce out of my burgers. The potatoes are from Idaho and they will post where in Idaho they are from which I thought was cool. Their Cajun fries are perfectly crunchy and they often give you more than just a regular size order. I also love that they have coffee shakes because most places do not offer that flavor. Before the pandemic, you were able to snack on peanuts while waiting for your burger. Now that has all been taken away for public safety. They do have other options besides burgers like hot dogs and veggie burgers (which is all the vegetables they use on the burgers and that is all) but why would you order anything else from a burger venue. I definitely wouldn't. I have been back multiple times to various locations. I definitely appreciate their consistency from site to site and always look forward to my burger "all the way", Cajun fries, and coffee shake!!

Standard Five Guys quality and service. Good food, clean, and a lil pricey for a hamburger. And of course fries all over the bag!!!! All the good stuff if you wanna load up on some fatty food.

Little cheeseburger "All the way". Good food and good service at this location!

You can find me here on "cheat day". Five Guy's burgers are simple but solid and Ive never left without an order of their fresh cut fries cooked in peanut oil. I wish more restaurants believed in fresh ingredients and made to order food! There is every fast food place you can imagine along this stretch of road but Five Guys remains my go-to for a burger and fries (and a shake if Im feeling fantasy!). The food and service at this location are both top notch.

Always consistently good. The ingredients are fresh, they make everything to order, and it tastes great. The only complaint I have across the board is that their buns are not my favorite. If I had a choice, I'd opt for a brioche bun or a potato bun over a sesame seed bun every time, but that's not really their schtick. I've ordered multiple burgers from them a variety of ways - plain burger, bacon cheeseburger, cheeseburger, and I've topped them all the way (mayo, ketchup, mustard, lettuce, tomato, grilled mushrooms, and grilled onions) or customized. Their fries are also fantastic, and honestly the Little size is big enough to share.

Clean, great service and excellent burgers. I ordered three burgers and waited under ten minutes for my order.

Best burger in town. Can't say enough about 5guys. The burger in a bowl option is great for those of us that should avoid gluten

Its five guys, always consistent and always good. The reason for 3 stars is because the service was horrible and the cashiers where rude.

I arrived on the public transport from Ronald Regan Washington international airport and saw Popeyes. While shopping at the Dollar Tree store nearby, I decided to place a mobile order for a family meal, since I could split that large meal into 2-3 separate meals, which I eventually did do. It gave me a chance to shop a bit more at the Dollar Tree store before wandering over to Popeyes and picking up the order. Upon arrival at Popeyes, the intoxicating aroma of fried chicken and other authentic smells greeted me at the door. It permeated perfectly through my senses and i enjoyed that very much. I walked to the counter and told them about my mobile ordered and gave them my name. It took about 10 minutes to get my order but the restaurant itself wasn't that busy. There were some people dining in there, but I chose to have my dinner at the Airbnb that night. The entire time spent inside the Popeyes restaurant was about 20 minutes, which included using their restroom facilities because I had to use it really desperately. Thanks to Popeyes staff working that night for letting me use it before I picked up my order. If you're in the area and love fried chicken, consider Popeyes since it's definitely delicious and has a lot of flavor than KFC. It's far from healthy but totally a great treat if you are craving for it once in a while. The overall experience here at this Popeyes location in Alexandria, Virginia was good and typical while being good and definitely a good place to be near when you love fried chicken. It's within walking distance to my Airbnb, so it was nice to have this experience. The restaurant itself is very good and cozy, especially during the winter months. I particularly enjoyed the intoxicating atmosphere and aromas of the fried chicken and other smells that were coming from the kitchen. There wasn't that much dining space here but there was enough room to accommodate a lot of people here. For the most part though, it was good to be here and enjoying comfort food that I enjoy eating once in a while. I ended up staying in the restaurant for a bit, taking advantage of the self serve drink station and refilling my drink cup for at least 3 times before heading out to my Airbnb. The prices here are comparable to other places that serves up fried chicken. They had deals at the store at the time but I just ended up buying something on the App which was fine. My favorite sides to grab here are the red beans and rice, the Cajun rice, and the mashed potatoes. Not much of a fan for the Cajun fries, but they're good too. The menu is pretty good and they also do desserts too, but not much variety on that. The sides make a good meal if you get the large. Or even mix some sides for a nice small meal without the fried chicken. It was definitely nice coming here after a day of travel and seeing a familiar spot where I can pick up dinner and be on my way. Definitely recommended if you love fried chicken and in the area. This Popeyes location is located at the Mount Vernon Crossroads Plaza in Alexandria, Virginia. They are physically at 7832 Richmond Highway in the suburbs of Alexandria. They accept major credit cards and cash as well. Best thing to do is to get the mobile app and order ahead while you can do other things while your order is prepared. I only spent a small amount of time here because I planned ahead. The staff here at Popeyes was good and friendly and was enthusiastic about being there, at least that's what I saw on my experience in March 2026. For the most part though, it was basically a good fast ordering process. The restaurant was clean and quite nice. Same decor and ambiance as many other Popeyes restaurants around the country for sure. As far as parking goes, your best bet would be to find parking around the shopping center. Come during non peak hours and you should be okay. If you are like me, taking the metro from Ronald Regan Washington international airport was an experience but I got here with plenty of time. What I did was take the Yellow line towards Huntington and then the Bus 151 or 159 towards the Plaza. And so, while Popeyes is certainly a place where you can count on comfort food at the ready, it's nice to have them when you need them. The fried chicken is delicious and the breading is flavorful and crispy through and through. The meat itself is very tender when you bite into it. Delicious and perfect. What more do you want? 5.0 stars for the overall experience, mainly for the location and favorable prices while being delicious. Support local! A+

I am six months pregnant, and my 4-year-old daughter, my husband's 5-year-old brother, and a 1-year-old had already eaten some without realizing the chicken was infested. My husband noticed his piece was full of worms, and when we checked the rest of the chicken, it was all the same--full of worms. You really have to check your food before eating it so the same thing doesn't happen to you.
