I Placed an online order for this location for a pickup at 945pm. I showed up about 8 minutes early and because of this I was told my ticket hasn't printed yet. No biggie, I figured this was to ensure that my food is prepared fresh. I find a seat and settle down. At about 955 I go up to the counter to see if my food had been called. The manager, Elmer, incredibly rude by the way, said "your ticket didn't print, I don't know what you want me to do." I proceed to show my email confirmation with my order details including what time and what I ordered. Again, he's of not willing to help and brushes me off. Two gentleman, one named Ryan and the other whom I didn't get a name for looked up my order in the system and were able to print it out. Meanwhile, Mr. Elmer was yelling at his employees as well as these two men for helping me telling them to not give me a refund (I didn't want one, I just wanted my food which I paid for in advance for the sake of convenience) I understand people have bad days but as a manager and when dealing with customers, you have to keep it together for the sake of maintaining your franchise reputation. My experience here with Elmer in particular is more than enough of a reason to never come to this location again. It's unfortunate because I'm a huge fan of five guys! :( read more

Literally created a yelp account so I could write this review. They seem to have completely changed the staff. I used to come for about twice a month and will never come back after the horrible service from the new staff. I ordered only large cajun fries. It took 20 minutes for the order to be ready and they put my order in someone else's bag. They removed my fries from another costumers bag and gave that to me. After I pointed out that it had no cajun seasoning, they gave me the container of cajun seasoning and said to put it myself. I asked for a refund but was not issued it. The portions are also a joke now. Large fries is the equivalent to small fries. needless to say I wont be coming back, unless they bring back the old employees. read more

The best hand cut fries and made to order burgers. I usually get a little cheeseburger with a small fries, but honestly it can feed 2 people. And the prices are very reasonable. Never tried the shakes, but I hear they d good. Also heard the grilled cheese is hood as well read more

Let me just say this I am pretty pretty pretty picky. Came here after leaving Arlington Roof Top. There was no line thank you Jesus. The guy at the counter was so friendly and welcoming. I am beyond indecisive so patience is always appreciated. I ordered a mini cheeseburger and my friend ordered a small fry. I was very specific in what I wanted on my burger and it came out exactly how I order. PTL(praise The Lord). It's like hard enough to get this at a full service restaurant let alone fast food. I do not frequent this place and today reminded me why if a 0 stars where available. The last time I was here I caught attitude from an employee but it had been a while so why not give them another shot. Today, I came to the venue 10 minutes before the posted closing time of 10pm. As there was still customers wanting to get food and order, the cashier tells everyone they are closed. The person before was being helped while other people left. When I asked why they were closing before the time the cashier explains that it's because they have to get home and they have already cleaned the kitchen. If this is the case they should post something that mentions they will not help customers past certain times. When I asked for the manager they say they will call him. By the time the manager/ closing manager "Elmer"comes the time is now 10pm. I asked him about the policies about helping customers before the posted closing time and he said they were closed with an attitude. I will definitively not come back to this place nor ever recommend it to anyone. There are other food options in the area and clearly the employees and manager at five guys take the customer demand for granted and don't feel they need to take care of the last minute customers. As another customer and I left the manager even mentioned we are "welcome to come anytime", with a smile. I always come to this Five Guys and they provide me with decent service, but this past Sunday I experienced beyond terrible service. My family and I had just came out of the movies and decided to walk over to this Five Guys, an hour before they closed. Mind you we walked in the rain. As soon as we got there the entire staff, which was about 3-4 people ran away from the front cooking area and disappeared. The only person left was the cashier. You could hear one of the staff members in the back saying they wanted to go home and it was time to close. We were appalled that we weren't even greeted and that almost everyone ran away as soon as they saw us. The cashier didn't say anything and tried to play it off. We couldn't even order because we were in shock that even when we tried to order, no one came back, they were still in hiding - this is disrespectful. We had to stop and cancel our order because we were disgusted from the lack of customer service...that made us feel unwelcomed, as if we were a burden for walking in, when the place didn't even close for another hour. Never returning to this Five Guys. This is no way to treat customers - the actions and words of the employee(s) was unprofessional. read more

Stay away, far away, from Five Guys if you want to eat healthy food. I ordered the veggie sandwich, thinking it was a vegetable burger. All it consisted of were some grilled vegetables on a hamburger bun- white bread at that. This is by far the healthiest item in the menu. Pitiful! read more

Greasy, overcooked and full of gristle. Worst burger I have had in a long time. Avoid this place if your taste buds are still working.

I would say that the food here is just as good as any of the other half-dozen Five Guys I've eaten at, but the service here rocks. I was there for take out, I could simply have stewed while waiting, but the guy working the register (I forget his name, but it was 1930 on Sunday, 12 May 2013) was thoughtful enough to ask if I'd like a drink of water while I waited. At Five Guys, Famous Burgers and Fries, you probably can get the best burgers and fries in town. At least this is what I heard. I went there with some friends because they had recommended this place. There are about eight different burgers to choose from. The fries are outstanding. While waiting for food you can eat peanuts for free. Don't expect this place to be very fancy. One of the best 5 Guys in the city where it started 30 years ago. Highly convenient - right down the street from the Courthouse stop. Burger contains plenty of meat with a lot of bread. Getting it fresh, as all are made to order, makes a lot of difference. Plenty of toppings choices. As for fries, you can get regular or cajun. Go cajun. And if there isn't much of a line, ask for extra crispy fries for brown crunchy fries. Simplistic menu allows for high quality with only a few items to master: burgers, hot dogs, cheese sandwiches, and fries. read more

I just tried this place for the first time! It was awesome! They give the most french fries I've ever seen in a serving! The burgers are double, and cooked to order completely. Anytime I order online they have NEVER had the order ready at the time quoted on the website. Why order ahead if I still have to wait when I arrive after the quoted completion time. I went there twice in about 1 1/2 weeks, and they got my order wrong both times. The first time, I am not sure what they were thinking when they took my order because they didn't put anything on it i asked for and put everything on it i didn't ask for. I had my service dog with me and forgot my vest. The lady Leon J asked if he a was a service dog I replied yes. She said well where's his vest? I said I had forgotten it. She began yelling at me that she could not take my order. I simply replied that you cannot challenge me if he is a service dog. I have replied back that he was and I don't have to provide further proof. I said I would wait outside and come in to get the order when it was done. Another gentleman took my order and I went out into the rain and waited. They served 10 people ahead of me. They refused to me give me my order after taking my money and agreeing to letting me wait in the rain. I went in and asked and the taller young man screamed at me in front of the whole store saying that he would not give me my order with my service dog present. I went out and tied him up in the rain. They gave me my order which included a cold hamburger and burnt fries. At this point I just left. I will never eat at a Five Guy again. I would encourage anyone that has a disability or service dog not to go as the staff will humiliate you and the manager in staff did nothing. read more

OK...when I first saw them bagging my order which I ordered with regular fries, I was like, um, who can eat that much fries? What a waste. They fill up a cup with fries then seem to dump another container full of fries right into the bag. Whatever, I took my burger with everything and bag full of fries home and started chowing. OMG...somebody stop me from eating these wicked fries. I keep telling myself, ok, only couple more. Then I was staring at a empty greasy bag. Gulp. Is it possible? I was wishing that there were more. Shameless of me. Burger was solid too. I didn't think they could fit all the topings and still make it edible. But it wasn't gigantic overflowing mess. It was good. I went back for more fries 2 dayys later and swore I won't go back for another month for the sake of not breaking my weight scale. If you live in America and haven't had a Five Guys burger, you haven't lived life yet. A Five Guys burger can arguably be called America's burger because it just has that all American taste to it. The small menu has nothing to do with the big taste that it delivers. You can choose between a hamburger, a cheeseburger, a bacon cheeseburger, or a hot dog. I always get the cheeseburger with lettuce, tomatoes, and ketchup. I don't get many topping, but just like the small menu, the taste of the burger takes care of the rest. They serve their burgers medium well, but I'm sure that you could change how well the burgers done if you ask. You could also compliment you're burger with a side of fries. The fries are so good that some go to Five Guys just for the fries! There are two types of fries, Cajun and Regular fries (I prefer the regular). There is really no use in getting a large sized fries because if you order the regular size they fill the cup up and then add a lot of extra fries into the bag. The service is always great too. The employees are always kind and make sure the customers get what they come for, a great burger! read more

five guys has pretty good burgers and fries. the quality is consistent across chains so you don't have to worry about there being a big difference from one five guys to the next. the food is many, many times better than your standard fast food burger chains like mcdonald's, wendy's, or burger king. the places, including this one, are generally clean. it's all and all a fairly solid and consistent experience. read more
