Really wanted to like this burger and fries but the flavor was just too bland for me. The service is the saving Grace of this place! The price was way too high compared to better burgers.

Five guys is and has always been consistently good and expensive. I like five guys because you're able to customize your burger with an array of toppings and condiments. The amount of food you get is worth the prices especially since now a days lunch will cost you around 20 dollars at most mainstream fast casual restaurants. I typically get a cheeseburger with jalapeños, onions, mushrooms lettuce and mayo. The regular burger or cheese burger comes with two patties cooked to medium well to well done perfection. If that's too much for you, it's okay they have the little burger which is smaller and less intimidating. The also have regular and Cajun fries. The Cajun fries are good but in the saltier side. The flavor has a nice kick and really adds to it. The regular size fries is clearly enough for two people or for the brave individuals. Also they offer keto option which means few to no carbs. It's called the burger bowl and it's pretty amazing. A lot of people like to compare shake shack and five guys. Which you shouldn't because shake shack could never (I'm only kidding, maybe). I like shake shack but they were much better before they started to sprout everywhere. But the choice is simple if you want to be able to customize your burger without extra cost -five guys. But if you want choose between different craft burgers a long with a very good vegetarian burger then shack shake is your best bet. Both cost around the same price. Yeah five guys is little (a lot) greasy but it still taste great. Anyways the choose is yours, I'm going to still rock with five guys because I've been there the longest, I get more food for my money and I love customizing my burger (bye bye arteries).

It's Thursday, the weekend is approaching, it's time to celebrate with some delicious unforgivingly tasty Uber Eats! Five Guys is just the place for that! I ordered two Little Cheeseburgers and a Little Cajun Fry. The great thing about Five Guys is the multitude of toppings to select from. There are lots of traditional toppings like ketchup, lettuce, tomato etc., and then the option of grilled or fresh for veggie toppings like onions and jalapeños. My boyfriend and I each ordered our burgers to our liking. Our order came on time and at a good temperature. I believe that shows the restaurant is efficient and caring. For example, I really appreciated that my meal was delivered double bagged. The outside bag had the receipt stapled to it and the inside bag that the food was in, was sealed with a Five Guys red sticker. That was so great to receive given COVID. The restaurant taking the time and resources to double bag and seal my food so it could get from them via the delivery man to me safely was a great care of caution that I appreciated. Once I opened the sealed bag my Cajun Fries were spilling into the bag outside of the cup just like I like to see. They always make sure you get a great amount of fries. The Cajun seasoning on the fries was delicious! The burgers were wrapped in foil, one burger was labeled with a number so we could tell what burger was what. There was no need to open and check to see whose burger is whose. Love that! The burgers were a great portion size to be labeled "little". My boyfriend and I both enjoyed our burgers. So, this is a good Five Guys location! I definitely recommend it. Of course, being in Virginia. I'd expect this location to do the brand justice and it certainly does. (I've been in other states and been disappointed). If your in a mood for a solid burger meal stop by this Five Guys location and order up!

Five guys. Everyone knows them. Peanut oil fries. Peanuts while you wait. Regular burger is a double. They're honestly between a 3 and 4 for me. This location is standard. The burgers are big and messy. They aren't amazing by any means just a solid burger when you have a craving. Fries come in huge portions - I can only get them if there are people to share with. I would avoid bacon unless you want burnt bacon that breaks into a million pieces. Also my cheese was not melted at all last visit but whatever

We found this hair in my Little Cajun Fries
    Peter R.

Gross.... Considering how expensive even a small fry is at 5 Guys, you shouldn't be receiving hair as an extra side. This is disgusting

The visit was unique, the story is unique and the food is unique! Let's do this! Established in 1950 or 1954 (reports vary but the sign on the building says 1954), Weenie Beenie was a modest hot dog stand serving hot dogs and beans. It was started by two brothers, Carl and Bill Staton. Bill happened to be an incredible and ultimately famous traveling pool player who went by the name... you guessed it... Weenie Beenie! He won 27k in Arkansas (which is a LOT of money in the 1950's) and used the money to finance the hot dog stand's growth! He appeared on television, played hustlers across the country, and backed other hustlers while living the pool and entrepreneur life. During the 50's, a period of entrenched segregation in Virginia, Weenie Beenie distinguished itself by hiring black employees on the same terms as whites when most white‑owned businesses would not hire blacks at all. This made Weenie Beenie a rare example of early workplace integration in Arlington and a meaningful employer within the historically Black Green Valley community. Its reputation for fairness became a very important part of its legacy, remembered along with the food and its very colorful founder. We popped over and found a 70+ year old walk-up stand with a colorful, diverse and engaging set of customers and friendly service. In faded letters on the front wall to the left are the 10 commandments! No breaking any divine rules at Weenie Beenie's! We all chatted and I learned the one guy comes every day! The old man in the suit was very polite and reserved. The younger Latin and black clientele were fun and engaging and we joked around quite a bit. Another older man was as 38-year veteran of the armed service! Thank you sir! I heard some stories... Of course, we ordered half-smokes! They are well-seasoned half-pork, half beef, smoked sausages that are truly incredible. Weenie Beenie's are unique and delicious! Life is good with a historic, unique, fun and respectful half smoke.

This place is always empty and it's obvious why The burger patties have very little in terms of a crust, just a generic slab of meat with very little flavor. They really come off like cheap pre-made patties. My burger had a big chunk of the tough part of the lettuce that made the burger really unbalanced. I see people referring to this as a good value but the burgers cost $16 and they charge you an extra $5 for a side (including fries). It would cost me $16 to get a way better burger that comes with a side from Rhodeside, All About Burger would give me a better burger for $9 and at dinner time I'd be able to get a full combo for $10. Lyon Hall, which is a much fancier place, charges you $20 for a burger and fries. This is one of the more expensive burgers you can get here and they seem to actually be the most expensive place in the area to actually get a burger and fries. I ordered a side caesar salad and it was really bad. The cheese tasted like something out of a bag, the croutons were by no exaggeration the worst and most boring croutons I've ever had. Also, the dressing was given on the side, when I eat in at a restaurant I don't expect to dress my own salad and it gave me more of an impression that the food comes in premade. One member of the party got the spicy cheese curds which just seemed like small (not very good) mozzarella sticks. This place tries to be everything and has no identity because of it. They are going for a country sports bar vibe and they're named "burger district" yet they have a wine menu. They have a bunch of random wraps, appetizers, fish and chips, even waffles and spaghetti (for kids) on their menu! I count 15 different types of burgers +3 types of smash burgers. There are 6 kinds of salads. They desperately need to shrink the menu and find a few things to do well.

The Crystal City location ended up being an expensive curiosity. $22.56 for a single-patty bacon cheeseburger, small fries and a fountain soda. My order turned out to be a case of opposites. The first thing I noticed was that the nearly $10 burger was shockingly small, the patty so skinny. The cheese on the burger had not been melted and they used iceberg lettuce. The bun was dry and it fell apart before I was finished. But the "small" fries turned out to be a whole sack of fries. But before you say yay, these fries were oily and limp and I could only eat some of them. It's a build your own burger emporium. The toppings list showed only fried onions and so I asked if they had fresh onion. The cashier didn't know what fresh onion was, but did know what raw onion was. I wanted to try the onion rings, but had the sense to ask if they were beer-battered. When she told me they were, I took a hard pass. No Coke products were available, only Pepsi. That's never a good thing. And why did my receipt show the business name as "Maman Joon"? I wouldn't say the burger was bad, but considering the not great fries with too high prices (including a $2.24 service and packaging fee) and a stark and uninviting ambience, I can't give more than two stars.
