I like Five Guys, but this location is the best. There is a woman who works here who is the friendliest person I have ever encountered at any business. She rocks! Today I brought my Gluten intolerant son with me and we brought his own bun. I had called ahead and was told it was okay. I thought we would get our food and just put his burger on the bun for him. It's the Oregon version of the Ca. In and Out. Very affordable for burger and fries. You can add all the toppings you want without any extra charge. I am happy that they have little fries. The regular was too much for one person. Try mixing BBQ sauce, mayo and a sprinkle of cajun powder. Its a great fry sauce! I would continue to come here over other burger joints. read more

This location is right next to my house, so it's bitter sweet in that the temptation is always there, but when it is I can always hop a couple blocks down for a burger and fries. I'd be even more excited if I didn't feel like I was paying restaurant prices when I went in here. For a burger, fries, and a drink you're gunna ham out at least $10, probably more around $12 if you aren't getting everything in a size small. Maybe it's a good thing they are a little more spendy because otherwise I'd be here more often, and ain't nobody got time for dat! So overall, good location near my house. I was going to order my fries after I ate my burger so their fresh. I never got that far. The burger was cold (they say they make it fresh on the spot?) and the patty was no different than eating a fast food burger for more money. I am very disappointed. After the burger I didn't even want to try the fries. Giving an extra star because the staff was friendly, and they have outdoor seating which is a plus. Worst customer service ever! You would think the people working here would be thankful for a job during this crazy time instead of being total a*holes! My husband literally got yelled at for grabbing packets of ketchup they left out. Suggestion: you don't want people to grab them then PUT THEM AWAY! Once my husband grabbed some packets the guy proceeds to pull them out of his hand while yelling at him. Then (we ordered online for pickup) I ordered a Dr. Pepper to be told they only have Mr. Pibb. My husband told him he didn't want it because his wife wouldn't drink it and just asked to have it taken off the bill. The guy proceeds do say "so you want me to get my manager to take a soda odd your bill?" Are you kidding?! I like five guys and think they have great fries this location is ok but the problem is they do not put on many topings like the other five guys do. The last two times I have used this location I kept double checking thinking they had left off several items then I relized they just put very little on. read more

How do I start this off, five guys it's probably one of the most influential restaurants that this marketplace has to offer. Their menu is pretty impressive with a lot of choices of burgers like the cheeseburger, bacon burger, little hamburger, bacon cheeseburger, little bacon burger, little bacon cheeseburger. Even if you order a small cup of fries, they fill it to the brim and add even more to the paper bag. The service is not as fast as traditional restaurants like me, but the food is definitely to wait for. A big plus is that while waiting for your food, you can also get free peanuts (very salty). Fries were very very soggy and greasy,my burger was so over cooked looked like a piece of leather :( also a missing ingredient (missing ingredient it's fine mistakes happen) but why will they served the burger and fries knowing that it was over cooked and probably fries sitting there for a while? The burgers are good, but not for the price. The burgers are definitely far better than any typical franchise fast food joint but not any better than most burgers you would find at a pub or a dine-in place like Red Robin. I've never had an In-n-Out burger so I can't compare to them like so many others do. However, if you're from Denver the standard I use is Jim's Burger Haven and Five Guys is definitely not as good as the burgers at Jim's. They do give you a ton of fries! In fact, I felt bad because we ended up throwing a bunch away. I just wasn't prepared to receive a monstrous bag full of fries after ordering two regular fries and one small one. However, the fries weren't very good either. They were limp and greasy. I wouldn't describe them as the worse fries I've ever had, but they weren't far from it. My other complaint about Five Guys is their lack of milkshakes. Every good burger joint I've been to always has a good shake to compliment a great burger and delicious fries but not Five Guys. I also want to speak to the cleanliness and service I found at Five Guys. I actually thought the place was clean and the service good. Yes, they had peanut shells on the floor from their free peanut offering but I found it to be a part of the ambience and not a hazard of any kind. I also found the service to be friendly and efficient. I'm thinking some of the other reviews that make issue with the cleanliness and service had unreasonable expectations or just had one of those rare moments that tend to happen in most (if not all) businesses. Bottom line, the burgers are good and give me reason to try them again but due to the price, the poor quality fries and no milkshakes being offered I doubt I'll ever be won over by Five Guys. read more

I ordered from this restaurant for the first time, and did curbside pickup as my husband and 3.5 year old would be picking up. When arriving there was a sign on the door to call if you didn't have a mask for curbside. So, since my 3 year old didn't have a mask my husband called. They couldn't do curbside so they had to go in. During COVID I would expect them to honor their curbside ordering option. My suggestion is call the restaurants before you order. read more

Im not really sure why there are bad reviews on this, but this is probably my favorite burger place! The patties are always juicy and the lettuce and tomatoes always taste fresh! I don't go here too often but when I do I'm always satisfied as I walk out. The staff are always nice and kind and don't mind if I take a little long to think about my order... The place is clean and well kept, and the floor is always clean! Every time someone leaves, the staff are sure to immediately wipe down the table and disinfect it. When you grow up on In-N-Out...5 guys is just ok. They're friendly here and the burgers are meh- we both felt ours were over-cooked. The people here are nice enough, and the service is pretty quick. My quip here is they are totally biting the In-N-Out style (from the menu/ decor/ uniforms), but ordering is a PITA. You can't just order a cheeseburger with everything- you have to go down the list of condiments and confirm each one. My quest for the In-N-Out substitute in PDX continues.... read more

My family and I occasionally eat here due to the location. We stopped in after Christmas Eve service to grab a quick bite to eat. I'm surprised this place is averaging 2 star so far. I've eaten at other Five Guys and felt like the food is pretty much on par with the other locations. As mentioned, all of the normal burgers are doubles (the menu says this and you have the option of ordering it as a single) and they are quite juicy (and fatty). I personally felt like it was delicious but knew what to expect. Per all of the other locations, they use peanut oil for their fries which makes them pretty delicious and the burgers have tons of topping options. If you've had it before and enjoyed it at any other locations, I don't think you'll be disappointed by this one. read more

Just walked out of my favorite burger joint never to return. Got to the counter with only one guest ahead of us ordering. An employee walked over to the second register to have his buddy cut in line and place an order. The guy didn't look at us or acknowledge us even though I said excuse me I think we're next. He took his buddy's order and then said NEXT like he couldn't see I was fuming. F*** that place. You don't do that in an customer service setting. It's just bad ethics. read more

Five guys is a great burger.. It's way better than your fast food joints, and a better deal than some of the sit down pubs, or even a red robin. The only small criticism I have is the bun does not hold up to the double, it always falls apart before the burger is gone. If you get fries, a large will feed a family of four.. They are fresh cut, and very good. The soda station has cherry coke, so another reason to visit.. The service is always speedy, and friendly. The restaurant was clean with a very nice gentleman actively sweeping up the peanut shells and bussing tables. read more

First impression, free peanuts means shells all over the floor. Loud music playing from the 80s. Burger is made to order so takes a few minutes but it's fresh, natural tasting fries with skins left on them, burger falls apart so keep it in the foil they give you. It's nice to be able to choose your own toppings. I think its a step up from MacDs or BK but below Killer Burger. Not going to drive out of my way again but if I am in the neighborhood I would do them again. read more

Had an opportunity to stop here for lunch while traveling to Portland this summer. The difference-maker between this Five Guys and others I've tried was the team of 3 employees I encountered during my lunch. The two girls behind the counter and the manager went out of their way to make me and my wife feel welcome and appreciated as customers. This type of customer service can be easily overlooked in restaurants today, but it was not here. It's clear that this Five Guys takes pride in their location and the high level of service they provide. read more

I brought my European family here. I swore to them that this was a well-known burger joint and that if they wanted a real american hamburger, this was definitely the place. They agreed and we went. Mind you I had never been there but had heard that this chain was highly rated. When we came in my jaw almost fell to the floor. There were literally hundreds and hundreds of peanut shells all over the floor, on the tables, and on the seats. It was the grossest restaurant I had ever seen, and that's coming from someone who's been to fast food restaurants in the middle of the L.A ghettos. There were french fries and paper wraps on the floor and what shocked me the most was that the staff wasn't doing jack shit to clean it up. They were all acting like this was normal. I seriously wish I had taken pictures of this. I was so embarrassed that I had taken my family to eat here. And to make matters worse, the food wasn't even that good. I've had better burgers elsewhere. I liked that the fries were authentic but unfortunately they were kind of burnt and didn't taste fresh. The burger itself was meh... I seriously wish I could say one good thing about this place but I can't. Maybe this was a one time incident, but to be honest I wouldn't want to risk getting food poisoning from a place that takes so little care of its environment. The floor was COVERED in shit. Don't ever go here! The food was crazy expensive. I got a burger, fries and a soft drink. It cost over 13 dollars. There were five employees and one family eating there, yet the tables were dirty. It took forever to get my meal and when I got it I was exited. The fries looked great, but they soon disappointed me. They had no flavor! The burger looked like something you would get from McDonald's. Maybe I just came on a bad day and they are actually really good, but coming from that experience, don't go to five guys. read more
