I am visiting my family here in Broomfield and my cousin suggested this place for lunch. She has eaten here before and I trust her judgement. I was not disappointed!!! The burger was gigantic and she suggested we share a small order of fries. We were both STUFFED and there was still half the order in the bag. I loved the drink selection--it's very rare that I drink a soda, but I just had to try a vanilla coke. It's very loud in there, but the music they play really fits the atmosphere, and the employees were very upbeat and charming. Love Five Guys Burgers! This location has very friendly staff, and they are quick even though they are always busy! The only thing I don't like is that the menu is a little hard to understand, little burger vs. regular burger vs. what I need to order if I want a double patty vs. single patty? Maybe it's just me, but it always trips me up and the staff is in too big of a hurry to lay it all out (understandably). Last time we went we ordered a medium fry, and when I asked for a medium also, the cashier said one medium fry was probably enough for us both since they overflow their cups. The info was appreciated, but sadly, when we got home the amount of fries was definitely not enough to split. I LOVE that they offer malt vinegar and take home cups, their Cajun fries are delicious, and I really like the variety of toppings they offer. Best fast food burger around in my opinion. I had never been here before and I wanted to see what all of the hype was about. The burger was just fine, nothing spectacular, but it was better than the average fast food burger for sure. The fries were pretty good too, but a word to the wise, their fry portions are HUGE! If you are eating there I *think* they do fry refills because someone was going around asking if people needed more fries, we didn't because we had ordered enough for an army. I wish the girl at the counter would have told us that the large is enough for a few people, we wouldn't have ordered so much. always a notch up from all the other fast food burger joints. The soda selection machine is a kid favorite, since there is such variety in mixing and flavors. The portions are huge, so the junior sizes are just perfect! The fries are also in big portions so you can share a small with someone. The food is cooked when the order is placed so it's always hot and fresh. This location has great outdoor seating and minimal space inside, considering the volume of patrons. The staff is always chipper and quick and I've never had a bad experience with food or service at a Five Guys, I highly recommend this when you are wanting a burger on the go, but not willing to compromise for a BK or McD's. Been there twice since they opened and both times I've been very impressed with their service. Using their app for the iphone is also very efficient and easy (tip: use their app to order 5-10 min before you're going to get there and your food will be waiting for you! skip the line!!). Burgers are great, staff goes above and beyond, and you can't beat the value or freshness. Only thing I've never been a fan of is their fries. Some people think their fries are the best though, and I've eaten at numerous ones on the east coast, I've just never been a fan (never crispy enough for me despite five guys using high quality potatoes). Place is amazing. Good for paleo. They happily make lettuce wrap burgers for you. Staff is friendly. Ordering online is easy and effective. A bit pricey and the music seems a little loud. For all the other reviews that say they mess up orders... I eat there no less than 3 times a week with special orders and they kill it every time. Go there. read more

After a year of allowing them to get past their grand opening pains, I decided to give this place one more try. The burger was absolutely fantastic, but their fries are beyond disgusting. I even asked them to give them an extra bit of time, and they still came out limp and undercooked. They taste the same as if I had dropped some fresh cooked fries under a heat lamp for 10 minutes, but I watched them pull them straight from the fryer. Not sure how to get the message across to them that the fries need to be cooked. read more

I love this place! I have eaten at this location, Boulder and Longmont. All of them have been wonderful! My boyfriend and I share a regular Cajun fry when we go, there is a lot of them so I would not really suggest eating them alone. Really this should be a three star review, but the fries are so good that sometimes I have to come in just to have them. Also, they have shakes now, which was a big lack when I first started eating here. And my last couple hamburgers here have been delish. So four stars. It is not the ultimate burger joint ( that's Cherry Cricket), but it's good and will satisfy your burger craving (unlike Larkburger) and your fry craving (unlike Smashburger). They have a concrete floor, though, so it's very noisy, and people apparently love the free peanuts, so you might have to sweep peanut dust off your table or chair. Also, they have those mix a million flavor drink machines, which never actually get the flavor of any particular drink right (this is a universal truth of these machines, not specific to the ones at Five Guys). 5 GUYS ROCKS!!! Your food is wonderful and your staff outstanding! I know I'll be greeted with smiles & enthusiasm when I place my order. HOWEVER... this afternoon when I stopped I heard a man yelling RUDELY outside behind the store at another employee. As I approached, I saw it was a very large man in the face of a lady half his size. She was close to tears and it didn't look like she had a chance to say anything in her defense. Before I could say anything, she walked away. It was all she could do. I went inside and ordered, but the air in the store was TENSE. My service was impeccable, but I was very concerned for the young lady. Wicked good burgers, friendly staff, my only observable criticism was the peanut shells on the floor and some minor tidying issues.

A burger the way you want it. Juicy thick patty of meat (that some idiots call greasy) dressed with the toppings of your choice. The fries are exceptional. Fresh cut from Idaho russet potatoes. Not the blanched and frozen crap like SmushBurger. Try them extra-crispy. Too bad they don't have 'Fry Sauce'. The peanuts are a fun touch. Highly recommended! read more

Grew up in SoCal on Farmer Boys and In-N-Out. This is the closest thing Ive found to those amazing fast food burgers. Used to go to the one in Aurora and now I have one closer!! Whoo hoo! The fries are never frozen and you can tell. The large fry is 4 bucks but enough to feed 3 adults comfortably. The burger patties are beyond anything an ordinary fast food establishment would provide. They even offer complimentary peanuts while you wait. Went on a Monday and it was packed but the food was out quickly. All the employees were young but very attentive, friendly, and competent. Will be back. Many times. Sorry to all my old faves Carls Jr, Culvers, Smashburger, Larkburger, etc.... Five Guys has you beat and you wont get my business anymore :-( Cherry Cricket is only thing comparable. read more

This almost hurts to write as they usually are great but they cut me deep on this one. Stopped grabbed a double bacon with fries and jalapenos. My wife got the same minus the jalapenos. I Ended up getting pickles Now seeing Im allergic I couldnt eat it. I called expecting an apology and the manager to put my name on a list or get an email for next time or something as this happened before at another location which was happy to reaolve the issue but the manager seemed very direct and instructed to come back. Decided to give this place one last chance. Burger was very good, as good as anything else in this level. Fries? No way. When I read the reviews here raving about the greasy, soggy, grossly undercooked fries it makes me chuckle. Maybe people have just never had fries that were cooked correctly. My last trip there was exactly that. They need to rename the place: Five Guys Garbage and Flies. Lots of staff, lots of milling about and chatting producing a long wait time, during a slow time of the day, for a disappointing meal. My order was wrong (but saved) and the whole thing tasted like nothing. Are seasonings allowed on the premises? There are numerous offerings of toppings, but they were indistinguishable from one another as far as flavor and texture. Do they all come out of the same can? We've all had cafeteria food that tastes like generic yuck, but you visit a place like this for something different or distinct; a flavor signature, if you will. Maybe no one that works there, manages or owns the joint tastes the food. They should and if they feel it is acceptable, they need to go to a place where the food has taste so they can acquire a frame of reference from which to temper their cookery. I've also never had fries with no seasonings and/or little to no salt which equals yuck squared, especially for five bucks. Top it all off with dirty tables that could have been cleaned by one of the staff that was jaw-jackin' while all of this was going down and it boggles the mind that these guys have customers that "rave" about them. Only a loon would expect haute cuisine from a burger joint, but ya gotta hit the basics: cleanliness, flavorful food and good service otherwise, why should anyone bother coming in? read more
