A burger with mustard mayo and lettuce. That was my order. After telling it 3 times to the voice in the drive thru at the Golden Arches I pulled up to pay and the cashier reviewed my order only to get it wrong. Cheeseburger deluxe was what she had said .... after several attempts to explain I only wanted a burger with mustard mayo and lettuce I simply gave up and said Never mind and drive off- frustrated . That's when I drove by this place and pulled in . True there's no drive thru but they got my order right on the first try and boom I was on my way to having a meal. The burger was delicious and the fries were piping hot and delicious as well . Seriously it was a bag full of hot delicious fries . I didn't plan on that and well I admit I ate them cause ... why not ! They were yummy! There's an area for condiments and free peanuts to enjoy- if that's your thing ! I went here specifically because they give you more fries than a normal human could eat, and I was hungry. Sure, it's expensive, but I was ready to eat. This is a joke. I've eaten at this location on several occasions and always had a great experience. The staff are typically upbeat and friendly, and orders are always correct. The service, whether taking out or dining in is always super efficient being served in minutes. Five Guys has the feel of a higher end fast food joint and also has the price tag to go with. If four of us head in there we're typically at almost $40 and that's without drinks. Their menu is limited to burgers, fresh cut fries, grilled cheese and hotdogs, though that's their thing --you aren't going here for a healthy choice salad with kale and spinach, you're going here for taste of goodness with lashings malt vinegar. There is plenty of seating inside the restaurant and some tables and chairs out back which is cool. They have one of awesome Coca Cola drink fountains which serves everything but the burgers themselves. Parking is plentiful immediately out front and in surrounding lots. It's not obvious from the main surrounds roads but is nestled in the south east corner of the Blakeney plaza. Always tasty, always a good experience and always up for Five Guys! read more

As we walked in on Wednesday evening there was a lot of yelling going on in the back room. We walked out and were going to leave when staff came out from the back. Guy in the black shirt (mgr maybe ) walked out the back door but the register was manned and they took our order. Burgers were fine but the fries were room temp at best. They closed the restaurant at 8:30 instead of 10pm as posted, not a novel thing today but indicates poor employees and probably mgmt. How on earth anyone could willfully eat here when Shake Shack is right there is beyond me. Order was wrong, the first item I told the kid behind the register to put on my burger was missing. I love Five Guys and so does my family. However four times now we've ordered via their website for delivery orders and have not received our food. I understand that Five Guys doesn't deliver food themselves and uses Postmates and Uber Eats, but at the same time, it's been four instances now when we ordered Five Guys and did not receive it. This reflects on the restaurant and we've had only partial success getting our money returned, and it's frankly unacceptable. Either you can offer delivery or you cannot, and it appears that Five Guys cannot. If you want food delivered do not order from this Five Guys location. read more

For 10 years or so this location has been a 4 Star restaurant. Burgers, fries and Cokes are stupid expensive but the quality of the meat has been top notch. Juicy, tender, seasoned well. The last two times we have picked up brugers there the meat has been terrible. Lots of gristle and basically unchewable bits of fat throughout the meat, much as McDonalds and other chains have had for years. Either the chain has dramtically dropped the quality of their beef or this location is sneaking in Substandard and Unapproved meat from other sources (likely i an attempt to save a few cents). Right now, I would not eat another burger served here. Especially when a combo runs $15 or so. Be wary and evaluate the beef carefully. Either the entire chain has dropped dramatically in the quality of their beef or these guys are not following franchise rules and are using some terrible third party ground beef. If it is chain wide, their death is coming. If this store, I bet it gets taken over by the company. Too much time (and money) spitting out inedible chucks of fat and gristle. I was wondering how this location had been impacted by the Shake Shack that opened a few doors down. Apparently not much! Both burger joints had lines out the door this Sunday evening! I personally recommend that you come to Five Guys over Shake Shack anytime! The burgers are fresh, made to order, and generally just taste better. Comparing with other "Five Guys" locations, this particular location, in the Blakeney Shopping Center, is one of the best. This location tends to operate pretty fast and have no issues for unique orders (like well-done fries, I like them crispy). There is two Coke Freestyle machines (so no waiting behind the kid choosing every flavor) and the boxes of peanuts are usually fresh. When order is ready, one of the "five guys" will come to your table to hand the food as oppose to simply yelling out your number to pick-up. Always ate there for lunch, which is surprisingly not as busy as one would expect. However, if school is out, the place does attract a lot of families. As for the food itself, well... it is a darn good burger, you cannot go wrong here. read more
