At first glance it seemed like a really great place to dine. The food was good toppings were plentiful. However, the price for my meal was $9.03 for a bacon cheeseburger and a small drink. For extra fries it would have cost me another $2.79. The price does not justify what I had ingested. The burgers over at In-N-Out is just as good but cheaper for a whole meal. Won't be coming here for awhile. I don't know if peanuts expire but here it seems to be okay to hand out expire peanuts. Tip: Once a month kind of dinner. Update review on our local Five Guys. Had the family and a friend, looking for something we could all agree on. Burgers are easy and so the next question was where. Had not been to Five Guys for some time so decided to stop by. Restaurant was modestly busy on a weekend evening. The burgers are good as were the fries which they were very generous with. Always love the free peanuts! The major downside now is the price. The ambiance is fast food, but price is "fast casual". So the six of us were almost $70 with a modest tip for six burgers, two large fries and two sodas. Not expensive in the grand scheme of things, but easily $20-25 more than some of the competition. Probably 3-1/2 stars, but I enjoy their food and rounding up to 4 stars. read more

There are many burger joints in the area, so I don't often find myself at Five Guys. The burgers themselves are nothing special, but the fact that you get to build your own burger with a large bank of burger spreads, condiments & toppings is what sets them apart from other burger joints. You truly get to customize your burger by adding as many toppings as you want. This place is meant for people that like to pack their burger with many toppings. Honestly, the little size (one beef patty) is enough for me. Their fries are also very good & fresh. And let me say they are very generous with the portions of their fries. They come in cups & the cups are always filled to the top & overflowing in the to go bag. They even have complimentary peanuts for you to eat while waiting for your food. I wish I could give this place 5 stars, however I feel that they are about a dollar or two overpriced. A little cheeseburger, little fries & a drink cost me $15.05. Im giving one star because i paid 8.39 for large fries and maybe 5.00 9r dollars for regular fries. I get home 6 minutes away and they are cold, old and stale. I understand they were busy but being rhat their were literally 7 orders b4 me u wouldve thought that my fries a would be fresh. Its very disappointing to spend 44 .44 for this type of food. Extremely disappointed in the way they put their fries in the bag. I ordered 2 burgers to go with 1 large order of fries. They dumped a bunch of fries in the bottom of the bag, a large cup of fries, then the burgers on top of that, then napkins above that. Got about 15 packets of ketchup! Way too much. On the way home the bag was getting so greasy. When I lifted the bag, it fell apart. Fries were falling everywhere, then the cup of fries. Ordered my food on DoorDash this time. My expectations were exceeded. Especially because my burger was still so hot and my fries were crispy. I was very satisfied with the meal. This is my second visit to the Five Guys at this location. The burger and fries were 5 stars as was the customer service. Although the pricing seems a bit high, when you look at the cost of doing business, wages for employees and other costs related to being an employer, I don't mind this price, after all I wasn't looking for a fast food meal but a great burger and fries, and I got what I paid for! The burger was prepared according to my order with the toppings I desired and with nothing more than I asked for. The person who waited on me was professional and quite courteous and my order was completed within 5 or so minutes. I like the fact that as you make your order, the counter person(s) is telling the kitchen staff what to get started, e.g. a little bacon cheese burger. The food is fresh, tasty and the meat is real meat, not filled with some sort of additives or grains. The fries are super! The menu has quite a variety of options even for the pickiest of eaters as well as the vegans and kids (grilled cheese and hot dogs). The serving size is generous for both the burger and the fries and there are free refills for the self serve fountain drinks. I talked to the manager as I was leaving, thanked him for the meal and told him it was delish. I made a single suggestion, nothing that would change the 5 star rating but a suggestion. There was a great deal of salt on the fries, a little less would have been better but then again I probably would have added salt as fries are one of the few things I add salt to. My suggestion was to go lighter on the salt as people can always add to it, but you cannot remove salt if it's too salty. He immediately passed this along to his fry cook. Customer service is not lost here. Last week we came here, and our order was not entirely correct. Not a big deal, my burger had tomatoes which I'm not a fan of. The management found out about the error and went above and beyond to make things right. Love the peanuts and simplicity of the menu. Everything was fresh and hot, which I am a huge stickler on. My first time in a Five Burgers joint and not my last. I enjoyed every bite of my burger. I had the bacon cheese burgwr with everything on it, but relish. I ordered a side of cajun fries to go with it. Those cajun fries, YUCK!! If you want a pile of GREASY, soggy, and salty fries this is it. I read some where that five guys is known for double frying their fries for added crispiness. Well, this puddle of crap represented none of that. Don't get the fries. Save those calories for their milkshakes. The burger on the other hand was amazing. It didn't have the faux charbroiled smoke flavor. It was juicy, cheesy and tasty. I spent $7 for a large fries. The fries is good..they double fried it, so it has a nice crunch... the price not so much. I love the service that was provided. They were very friendly and fast. If you like plain burgers with few toppings, this place is overpriced, if you like the kitchen sink (sauce choices, jalepenos, mushrooms, grilled onions, ect...) the whatever toppings (not counting bacon and cheese) included pricing will be a hit with you. I got everything on my burger and a regular fries on the side that I shared with someone. I think its okay. It's not the best burger. I would like to try something else on their menu some day. This place definitely does not live up to its hype. Note: No drive-thru. PRICE: expensive. Expect AT LEAST $10 for a meal (burger, fries & drink). BURGERS: decent. Buns are soft and everything else has the same "quality" as a fast-food restaurant, except for the additional toppings (mushrooms, jalapenos, relish & etc). FRIES: greasy but has a nice twist w/ the Cajun spice option. Overall, nothing spectacular about them. DECOR: diner (like In'n'Out) but has a roadhouse twist (like Texas Roadhouse) by providing free peanuts. STAFF: needs more training. They looked confused about the orders and had to check the receipts constantly. I saw that they had 10-15 burgers out at once but took their time making the burgers. Plus, I did not like the fact that one of the guys cooking leaned over and yelled over the cooked food. Cold & flu season-- a huge health concern. Managers, please take time training your employees! I guess this is the East Coast version of In-N-Out. I'm a fan of In-N-Out, but I thought 5 Guys has a better burger. They don't offer Thousand Island dressing as a topping, so if I'm craving that In-N-Out flavor, I'm still gonna go to In-N-Out. So anyways, back to my review of Five Guys...delicious burger. Fresh ingredients, big & juicy patties, lots of flavor. Yay! Not too happy with the fries. Boo. I liked them better than In-N-Out's, but that doesn't mean much, since I hate their fries. I know people usually compare 5 Guys to In-N-Out but I personally think that they're two totally different types of burger joints. In-N-Out has the feel of a 50's burger diner, serving their food in paper trays and has the benefit of the fun secret menu. Makes you feel like you're a local in the know :] 5 Guys, however, feels more like a backyard bbq where you can customize your burger or hot dog any way you like. I love the variety of toppings they have and not even a penny more for any of them :D And it's nice that they have 2 different size burgers to accommodate different size tummies! When I think about it, I don't think I've ever been disappointed by a visit to Five Guys. I love the fact that you can build your own creation at no extra cost and all of the toppings are very good. I love that you can get hot sauce too. I know that's random, but when you add the hot sauce it makes the burger even better. I also really like the amount of fried they give you. A small feels like you could feed a family of 5 with it (exaggerating, but it really is a lot of fries). The soda is always superb and the staff is ALWAYS friendly. Restaurant is always clean as well. My favorite combinations is cheese burger with ketchup, mayo, grilled onions, grilled mushrooms, and hot sauce. The next best thing to In n Out. This place is starting to get a lot of hype and right now you either love it or your hate it. Me? I LOVE IT. Great service and speedy! I thought it was funny that the little burgers are what I would consider a normal burger. The servings are huge! 1/4 lb patty. Yes please. I love that I can have it all and for not extra cost. Yay! The grilled onions and mushroom are love. I think it would be better if they asked me how I want my meet cooked, but that's ok! Oh and free peanuts, haha weird. It's going to really suck for those with peanut allergy. HOWEVER!! I asked them about their use of peanut oil and it's only the fries they use it on. AND supposedly they use the super processed/filtered oil so all the allergens are taken out. I suggest if you are one with a peanut allergy to have someone order for you and eat outside.
