This was my first time in a 5 brothers; The burger was good; not great in my opinion. If I had to compare it to another burger joint I'd say the burger tasted like Steak & Shake but with thicker patties. The fries on the other hand; although abundant were soggy and very bland tasting. I seen that they do offer "Cajun seasoned" fries maybe that would have been a better option. However at over $12 for an ok burger, so-so fries, and a small coke, I doubt ill be back to try the seasoned fries... read more

First time here and the menu is a bit overwhelming but don't worry staff is ready to help and answer questions. I love that the fries are homemade and your burger made to order and my favorite part are the peanuts waiting for you while you smell your burger on the grill. The fries are huge portions but they come wrapped in a paper bag and they are so tasty that I didn't want to share. The store is kept decently clean but can be busy at times so tables don't get cleaned as well. The bathrooms are clean too and are private stalls so you can pee in privacy. Staff was helpful and patient with me while I took my time gazing at the menu and concocting a burger with my own creation. They have so many toppings it's tough to decide but staff just kept helping others while I decided. Five Guys was actually started by One Guy who blew to 1100 pounds over the course of 3 years as he experimented with a new burger recipe. Then, using science, they divided him up into 5 sections. Each section was dedicated to their own specialized way of getting the new burgers in the hands of the "Uninitiated". When you eat a Five Guys burger you enter into a special club. A Five Guys burger isn't just a nourishing meal, it's a pact to you and your fellow man. The burger will make you see the world in whole new ways and make you wonder why any other place is allowed to sell burgers that aren't Five Guys burgers. It will give you sight beyond sight and make you able to talk to dead relatives for a short amount of time. Who doesn't like an entire bag of fries??? LOL. Ok, they got burgers, fries, and hot dogs. That's about it for the most part. I must say the burgers do taste very good, and the fries are so nice and fresh. But the price, ouch, it's pretty pricey for the burger. And it's not a massive burger, it's just your average sized burger, which is fine, because sometimes you don't need to eat a 5 pound burger! But they do give you a redonkulous amount of fries to eat. Five stars because I am never not satisfied with the food here. I have been here many times and this is my go-to if I am really hungry and need a hot and proper burger. Proper by the sense that it is does not taste like a frozen patty (as you get in pizza places, etc.). Meat breaks apart and is juicy. I had the Little Bacon Burger and Fries. I had grilled onions and grilled mushrooms, which were cooked just right. This place is worth the money and you will not be disappointed. read more

We absolutely love this place and it is one we visit when we are in the Fort. I love the option of a single or double and of course the bacon! The size of the fries are always enough for two. Today we were enticed to have a miilllkshake by their best employee, in my opinion, and of course it did not disappoint, although a little pricey for the size. Though the prices are high, the service is usually stellar and the food is always on-point, which is why this is where our family likes to go for a casual splurge. If we're celebrating a small victory, or letting off some steam about a defeat, you may very well find us chowing down on burgers and fries at Five Guys. Also, at this particular location, there's an added joy--a guy who will offer to sell you a milkshake by singing about it. The milkshakes (again, expensive) are divine. Get one. Trust me. Also, extra whipped cream is free, and they take that request VERY seriously. I asked for extra and got an entire tower of it. I was impressed! I love that they have Coke Freestyle machines, but this location is so busy that there are frequently long lines at the drink machines, and there have been a few times when we've purchased fountain drinks and discovered that all of our usual options have run out and haven't been restocked in the machines, and that's frustrating and disappointing. The fries have the strongest pure potato flavor of any I've ever had, and they're plentiful. The burgers themselves are full of beefy flavor and cooked to perfection. Also, they're topped with whatever you want, at no extra charge except for cheese and bacon, so you can really go to town customizing your burger. (My favorite combo is sauteed onions, green peppers, and A1.) I have a food allergy, and most of the time, they seem to take it very seriously. A couple of times, I've had to make a big deal of it with the cashier, but I always wait and listen for them to give the special instruction to the kitchen staff before I walk away, and they do that without fail. The restrooms are always spotless and smell fantastic, and they always have an employee cleaning the dining room, so it stays presentable. Some of the biggest drawbacks for Five Guys for me are the prices, which are a little high, and there aren't ever any discounts or coupons available to offset them like there are at other burger joints. Also, there aren't any comfy booths, but cold hard chairs that make loud noises when scraped across the floor. The atmosphere itself is bustling and active, but it doesn't make for a nice place to linger and eat. Also, I wish they offered combo meals. It would make sense, as with most restaurants, to offer a burger, fries, and a drink for one bundle price, but for some reason, they don't make that option available. read more

I went here for the first time today with my son and daughter. Didn't expect much but boy I was blown away! Best burger I've had in many years. Choice of a great variety of unlimited toppings. I suggest the smaller burger because it is very filling. Fries were fresh cut homemade fries....yum! Eat inside to create the perfect fountain drink or iced tea. They also have free, unlimited peanuts to munch on. Inside is like a hometown diner. The gentleman who took our order was a lot of fun. Employees actually seemed to like working there. At the time of my review here...this place has a total of 4-stars. Are you kidding me? I was actually excited to go here, as I had heard people liked it. The atmosphere is weird, as the tables are way to close together, and you can watch them make everything, similar to a cafeteria. Besides getting a zero for atmosphere, I was still optimistic about good food. The burgers only come well-done, which is ok with me, but not other people. I got a cheeseburger with 4-5 toppings. They wrap it up tight and toss it in a brown bag, whether it's here or to go. So, unwrapping it...the burger was kind of smashed. It was ok tasting, but far from great, and definitely not worth the price. It tasted similar to Steak & Shake. The fries were also sub-par, as they were mostly soggy. This place was a big let-down. Five Guys is a burger lovers paradise ... ok, maybe that's a little extreme but it sure is GOOD! They offer burgers and a "little" variety of the same burgers. If you have a big appetite then go for the normal size. As far as toppings, you can gave your burger anyway you like. Stopped in with my husband and ordered, then sat down. I heard our number called, walked to the counter and saw no food and nobody acknowledged my presence so I figured I was hearing things sat back down - after 15 minutes went by, husband went to counter to find food had been sitting there. The cashier said, "We've been calling your number."...which they had not. Food was getting cold, and they were just hanging out, chatting, and it never occurred to them to get the food out warm. There were only 2 other tables in the dining room. Food was acceptable, service was pathetic. Also, the articles on the walls with their reviews, some from 10 years ago, are kind of pathetic too. On 6/8/21 myself and 4 other coworkers who work for a local hospital in the area wanted to order from 5 guys at Northcrest Shopping Center. We made several attempts on the computer but was unable to get the orders to go through do to something being wrong with the website. One of us tried to call and after several attempts one of us was able to get through and place an order for pickup at 9:30 pm. Another one of us tried to call and the phone rang and rang and rang before finally being answered. When we finally got to speak with someone they said to call back in 5-10 minutes because they are busy. Well, ok! We get that since we work in a hospital. At 5 minutes after 9:00 pm only one of us had time to make the phone call because 9:00 pm is when we start our bedtime med pass. So I placed the call and as before the phone rang and rang and rang. Finally, someone answers the phone! Yay! So I proceed to tell the man that I would like to place 3 separate orders for pick up at 9:30 pm. The man told me he could not take 3 separate orders over the phone for pick up and that if I needed to place 3 separate orders then I would have to come in person! What?????? Why does that matter. If we would have had time all 3 people would have made separate phone calls to place the 3 separate orders. Totally makes no sense why you can't accept 3 separate orders over the phone because either way they were all going to be paid for separately! I get it that sometimes businesses are short staffed but this employee was rude and acted like they did not want to sell food! If that's the case then don't know why or how you manage to stay in business. We have all vowed that this restaurant will no longer be a consideration for us who work in healthcare while at work! Lets hope this employee is never in the hospital and never receives the kind of care or treatment that he has given us tonight! Shameful!!!! read more

Really great burgers. I'm puzzled by anyone surprised by the grease--- isn't that the point? Burgers are from freshly ground, never frozen beef. Fries are cut on site. Simple menu--- again, a plus at a burger place. Just the facts, ma'am. Favorite toppings are grilled onions and grilled mushrooms.
