I am SO UPSET with my first experience here. I ordered my food on my lunch break at work. I get there and wait and wait and wait: I asked the lady 3 times if my food was almost ready because I was gonna run out of time on my lunch break for work. She kept saying it's coming up right now. Come to find out the whole time my food was ready and I was standing there for 15 mins. She tells me to ask the guy how long longer for him to ask my name and grabs the bag he put up 15 MINS AGO- I got in trouble at work. I should have got a refund. This is a BURGER JOINT. Don't expect table service, but expect really good burgers and fries. So many choices singles, doubles, cheese toppings... Props to management it's not often you are greeted upon entering the front door by multiple service staff cooks etc at a fast food establishment. Entire team communicated the entire time I was eating getting orders out promptly all with smiles. Burger was good as expected along with fries. I honestly don't get all the hype. I've been to Five Guys twice. The first time I thought maybe I missed something so I went back because everyone talks about getting their Five Guys fix. Their burgers are decent - juicy, flavorful, tasty. You can add whatever toppings you want for free (all pretty standard toppings). I had a small cheeseburger and a small fries. Their fries, in my opinion, are terrible. Freshly made and hot, yes but not crispy in the least. I found myself searching for a crispy fry and didn't find one. The portion of fries is obscenely large - filling up half a brown paper bag - I threw half away, not worth the calories. Five Guys is one of those burger chains that seems fairly consistent wherever you go... Nice greasy burgers and some good fries. More than likely, it's not going to be the best burger you'll ever have, but it's a good value and doesn't disappoint. Pretty straightforward burger place. Most people have been to a Five Guys before. If you haven't, it has burgers. Lots of burgers. This location is pretty useful if you work in the area, as I do. Also, keep in mind there are extensive quantities of peanuts here. If you or someone you are with has a peanut allergy, it would be wise to avoid going here. This particular location is well lit and the staff are nice. Never had an issue with ordering and not getting my food properly within 5-10 minutes. Location is clean and plenty of seating. Also right next to the movie theater which is nice. Never particularly crowded, surprisingly. While there are plenty of better burger places around, this place occupies that price-value spot between Mickey Ds and the high end overpriced burger joints. The burgers themselves are fresh, if having a tad more fat content than I prefer (but, I'm in the minority, I prefer a leaner burger than most). I usually get the double with lettuce, tomato, onions, and ketchup. Vegetables are reasonably fresh and the buns taste good. They wrap it up in foil so you can take it with you if you're in a rush. However, especially with condiments, keeping the double stacks together with one hand can be a challenge, so maybe better to eat there. There are plenty of options in this area but if you're craving burgers it's a decent choice. read more

Ordered lunch today only to have one of your employees mouthing off yelling things at me while I was waiting for my food. This was unwarranted and when I told him I could not understand what he was saying he said quote "you're not suppose to" then continued to laugh and dance around the kitchen. I have frequented Five Guys over 30 times but this was my first time at this location. My burger was great and it was made with fresh ingredients. The fries were hot and fresh. Quick sample of the peanuts were are also very good. The team worked well together. I observed a natural cohesive team environment, solid communication, and fun engagement. Meh, ok burgers. There's a burger joint, burger freak, not far from here that's legit. This place is just an OK. Burgers are mediocre, but they give lots of fries. Customer service sucks though. They ridicule the customers in creole and song/dance to the rock and roll music on, unprofessional. I went here a year ago and the redhead manning the register mumbled something to the other staff, they both looked my way, the only customer in line, and laughed. The sound and smell of the open grill searing the burgery-tastiness and the over-the-counter banter between cook and client is refreshing for those who get the rare opportunity to actually see their food being prepared fresh. Fries are cooked to order - from real potatoes - and the greasy paper bag will get you a knowing, jealous look from others who know where you've been and covet the goodies within. Pros: Besides being one of the best burgers in the business, the menu is a no-brainer and you can expect patrons to know exactly what they want when they go, resulting in a fairly expedited turn at the Ordering Counter despite the long line at the door Cons: This particular spot, offers a variety of seating arrangements including single stools facing the windows for a more private munch. However, the standing room at the Pick Up counter is very limited and tends to overcrowd quickly which, unfortunately, results in the occasional booty-bump to the dismay of already seated fellow chowhounds. I'm a huge Five Guys fan, but this location tonight was lacking. The big complaint was the lack of usual enthusiasm that you find at these places, and the definite lack of a bagful of fries. Both me and my buddy ordered the regular size (medium) and only got was equates to a medium McDonalds fries. Usually, the bag is overflowing. What's up with that. Otherwise, not bad.
