-1 star The fountain drink machine needs to be replenished. I tried three different drinks and they tasted flat or watered down. The person with glasses, pink hair and black lipstick is just a joy. Really nice and attentive. The burger and fries tasted really good. Juicy and cooked well; except for the bacon, it was over cooked. The amount of condiments assembled is a good ratio. Fries can be eaten plain or with Cajun seasoning. The establishment was kept clean, including the restrooms. Peanuts are self served. Free parking available.

Just came back from Northridge Tampa location with a to go order. Two burgers and they got one totally wrong. And the place was empty! Really, all you do is burgers and you can't get it right on a slow afternoon?! This place used to be great. Total shit show now. Strange unhappy employees that are not friendly. Okay, fine. But just do your job and get the orders right. I even tipped them. I get home and half my food is wrong. You see any ketchup, grilled onion, or mushroom on this sad little $10 burger? Me neither. You guys suck at your job. I'm done with this place. Sad, as it used to be a favorite. LA, you have a LOT of great burger choices, go get 'em. Cause this place ain't it anymore.

If you love pickles just as much as me then come to 5 guys. I went and I ordered a burger extra pickles. I love pickles, so I asked for extra extra extra pickles. Aidan made me a pickle Mountain. I'm talking more pickles than Burger. The greatest service I've ever seen.

My teenage son wanted to try Five Guys for the first time. My husband and I had it when they first opened and hadn't come back. It's been for a long time. This time we had two burgers (one double bacon cheeseburger and one regular), one fries, and one drink, and the total came out to be over $40. To my surprise, the top bun was cold! They should really grill or toast the buns. The burgers were just ok, not very impressive. The free salted peanuts are fun to eat but messy. Sorry, Five Guys, we won't be back again. In & Out right next door can't be beat with their price and quality of food.

So, if this was a year ago I would have given it 4 stars (minus 1 star for the service)... but after todays food experience, I feel like the quality has just gone down hill. I've always gotten the BLT. It's always piled high with bacon, lettuce and tomatoes. This time with our carry out order.... it was awful. There was barely any mayo, a few shreds of lettuce (which was all yellow and brown aka spoiling)... then instead of strips of bacon, it looks like I got the burnt crumbles of the bottom of the barrel that they had left over instead of taking the time to make some new ones. On top of all of that.... the fries were soggy and cold. PLEASE bring back the old quality of this place.... cause this is just SAD - especially for the price you're paying at this place.

I got lucky and they had one Western burger left, and it ended up being the highlight. The patty had a perfect crust, the toppings were balanced, and everything tasted fresh without being overcomplicated. The bun held everything together without falling apart, which matters more than most places get right. The fries cooked in beef tallow stand out too and actually taste like they were made with intention instead of just being a side. What really stands out is the pricing. For the quality of ingredients and how well everything is executed, it feels underpriced. It genuinely seems like it should cost more than it does. The setup is simple and low key, but if you care about flavor and quality, this place delivers.

It's set up in a parking lot and was a little tricky to find at first. Prices felt a bit high, but I went with the Double Burger ($11.24). The tallow fries looked tempting, but at over $5 for fries, I passed. Waited about 15 minutes for my order even though it wasn't that busy--understandable since everything's made fresh, but still worth noting. Honestly, I was disappointed when I got it. The burger looked small--almost like a slightly oversized slider--and didn't really deliver on flavor. Nothing stood out, and it leaned a bit greasy. Overall, kind of underwhelming for the price. Between the cost and the taste, this one didn't hit for me. Probably my last stop at these pop-up burger spots for a while.

Communication could be better when planning the event. I had to reach out multiple times throughout the process. They ran out of burgers for my guests even though they said they brought extra patties. (I did not go over guest count nor did anyone get seconds). I did a menu of OG burgers and grilled cheese and specifically asked if there would be enough for 40 adult burgers and about 5 kid patties. There may have been miscommunication, but about 7 of my guests did not get burgers. I give 4 stars even though it was frustrating and I feel like I did not get my moneys worth. Again, burgers were great for those who ate them and Daniel and his cook were nice.

So far I've had the patty melt, the avocado cheeseburger, and the double bacon cheeseburger, and every single one has hit. First off, the bacon deserves its own mention. Whatever bacon they're using is clearly top-tier quality. Thick, flavorful, cooked right, and definitely not an afterthought. No flimsy strips or skimping here. The burgers are big. Like, legitimately big. These aren't sad, flattened patties. They're hearty, filling, and actually justify the price. They also don't hold back on the cheese, which I appreciate. Everything tastes fresh, well-balanced, and made with care. What really surprised me, especially with inflation being what it is right now, is the value. Their combos are around $16-$17, and for that you get a large burger, a solid portion of fries, and a drink. And it's a fountain drink, not a can, which matters. You're not leaving hungry, and you don't feel like you overpaid. The fries are good, the specials are very reasonable for the quality, and they also have other drink options if you're not in the mood for soda. The vibe is another big plus. You can sit inside or outside, the atmosphere is relaxed, and the people working there are genuinely nice. It really feels like a family-owned spot where customer service still matters. You're treated like a person, not just an order number. For anyone in the neighborhood looking for a good burger, good people, and a comfortable place to sit down and eat, this place is absolutely worth checking out. Oh, and yes, they do have restrooms, which always matters more than people admit. Overall, this is one of those places that gets the fundamentals right: quality food, fair pricing, and good service. I'll definitely keep coming back.

Pastrami piled reckless but purposeful. Salty. Smoky. Slight chew. Melted cheese sinks into the meat like it belongs there. Bun barely survives and that's the point. Grease soaks through. Flavor stacks high. This is old-school LA energy. No edits. No apology. The patty melt understands the assignment. Toasted rye with actual crunch. Buttered deep. Beef smashed thin and wide. Onion cooked down until sweet and jammy. Cheese fully surrendered. Nothing sliding. Nothing dry. Every bite hits the same as the last. Comfort food with discipline. Diner logic executed clean. The western bacon burger goes loud and earns it. Bacon crisp. Not floppy. Sauce sweet but controlled. Beef still leads. Lettuce and tomato barely make an appearance and that's fine. This is about salt and fat and nostalgia. Feels like eating something you were never supposed to give up. Fries are the right kind of boring. Golden. Hot. Plenty of salt. Built to scoop. Built to rest between bites. They know their role and stay in their lane. Service is straight to the point. Orders taken fast. Food lands heavy and hot. No hovering. No theater. Just efficiency and muscle memory. The room feels frozen in time. Bright lights. Laminated tables. People eating with purpose. No one here for vibes. Everyone here for food.
