One word: Delicious! Any place you can build your own meal, especially a burger I am SO on board! I came in for a late night dinner with my sister. I usually order a Little Bacon Cheeseburger, it's a 1/4 pounder and it is slightly smaller, but perfect, not massive and not tiny. I had a side order of a chocolate milkshake, you really have to here. They have scrumptious milkshakes! My sister had a carb free burger like In-N-Out, big, nice and juicy! I'm pretty sure that I can buy 10 quarter pounder with cheeses at MC Bowels for the price of 1 what was supposed to be a single patty with cheese and Cajun fries and a dull drink, anyhow at least the 10 quarter pounders would have put a smile on your face since the taste is alway the same until you have to have that special party in the toilet. (This review applies to the Five Guys franchise in general). FOOD: Among the better fast food hamburgers/cheeseburgers. Not the absolute best, but definitely tastier than most out there. The patty itself has a good meaty flavor, but tends to crumble and fall apart, which can be annoying. The bun is a little mediocre, in my opinion. The quality of the overall burger is also a little inconsistent, as the cheese sometimes comes nicely melted, but other times looks as if it was placed on the patty at the last second. CUSTOMER SERVICE: The customer service is great here! The employees are always kind, helpful, and full of positive energy. PRICING: This is my largest complaint with the restaurant. The burgers ARE tasty and enjoyable, but are too expensive. Especially considering that (in my opinion) you can get a burger at Habit or In-N-Out that not only tastes slightly better, but is cheaper as well. I didn't know it was possible to make so many mistakes in one order. The cashier repeated my order back to me twice and everything was perfect. Then when I got my receipt I noticed we were missing a burger. He had to add that, then when our shakes came out we noticed he somehow deleted one of them too and needed to re add that as well. Once our order was ready it was wrong too. I tried to explain to the girl what we ordered and she just kept saying "well this is that the ticket says" it's not what I asked for and not what my receipt said. She finally asked if I wanted a refund OR for it to be remade. Obviously I need it remade. I ordered it so clearly I needed it. After leaving I realized one of the shakes was wrong too. The place only had like 2 other customers at the time we ordered, so the excuse of being busy is not true. The only reason I gave 3 stars is because the food is always good. My favorite thing about Five Guys is the burgers are handmade so no two are alike. I also enjoy being able to customize my own burger rather than cookie cutter options. I had the bacon cheeseburger with mushrooms lettuce, tomato , and topped with A1 sauce. Although the burger was messy I don't mind at this type of establishment. read more

I was not impressed, I got their veggie sandwich; the mushrooms were great but I requested my veggies well done and I did not receive them that way. The fries weren't THAT great. My husbands review on his bacon cheese dog; he really liked it but he has to admit that the meats didn't have too much seasoning. In both the hamburgers and the hotdogs. I visited Five Guys for the first time today. They were pricey but I thought I'd give them a try. I ordered a double bacon burger, fries and a shake I paid $20.03, WOW! I knew for that price I would get a huge if not a large burger with large buns, ample lettuce, tomato, onions and pickles that were fresh, but that was not to be. They forgot my entire order, I got a burger and had to stand around waiting on the employees. They asked you missing something? Yeah my fries, 4 minutes later can we help you? Yeah I need my shake. i don't live close to palmdale so my visit to this particular five guys hasn't been frequent enough, but it has been more than a year so my visits has been enough to write an update. this particular location is not doing so well overall imo. first and foremost, food quality and the way they serve burgers and fries are mediocore at best. first, my favorite fries here are not consistent. sometimes it is really mushy, sometimes it is really crispy like overcooked crispy. i've had hairs coming out of my fries bag (more than a few times), overly salted, and most importantly portion size was not enough, they forgot to put that signature extra scoop of fries, =( and overall taste is just not same as good five guys location. burgers are also not exception to this, as they tend to be overly cooked at times. the one thing i really don't like, which i think is the reason why their food is inconsistent, is that crew here are always shouting and enjoying themselves "a little too much". yes, sometimes it is helpful to create young, and energetic environment by shouting at each other which also help convey orders more clearly, but they scream at times (like a little over the top screaming) which is a little annoying when i am eating here and i am also not a fan when a person who puts my burger together can't keep his mouth shut. overall, it is hard to really fuck up burgers and fries, but this particular location needs a bit of attention from regional manager to get this place together from shit-show back to a burger restaurant. if you have an option to go to hesperia/victorville location, i strongly recommend that location as it is more a representative of five guys i am used to. read more

I see the manager come wheeling a cart full of sliced tomatoes, onions, lettuce, all the toppings and what not. She tells me the grill just got fixed and they're not ready they need time to prep the bacon and stuff. They need 15 mins.
