I hate the fact that I have to give bad reviews but it's my hopes that places will learn and improve. I feel like it's mostly the employees fault. Nobody seems to care anymore about anything these days and five guys is no different. Service is horrendous.. no communication .. total chaos.. people vanishing into the back room . I've only been disappointed by Five Guys once, and it was the one time I went to this location. The service was great with a very friendly guy at the register and a few minutes wait. the shake was also perfect. But the burgers were dry and a little hard -- both the buns and the burgers. What happened? Maybe the patties and buns were left out, and they just tried to reheat the meat. How else could the buns be so tough and dry and the meat also so overcooked? The fries, though plentiful as always, were oily dark in color and also limp. Again, were these just fries sitting out that they put back in the oil to heat up? Chain restaurants may not be spectacular, but they should be consistent wherever you go. If they are trying to save money by not serving fresh food, this is a management problem. read more

Stopped for burger and small fries. Service at counter was quick and efficient. Bad news: this was $15.14 with tax! It was around 3 0m, and not too busy. Order accurately delivered in about 15 min. Somehow another, larger more complex, order was jumped ahead. Lots of meat (two thick Patties) very juicy burger. Can customize what put on it. The place doesn't seem attractive. Ambience is pretty simple although very clean. Staff was amazing. They have peanuts for you to snack on while waiting. But the burgers and fries... OH MY GOD! They are delicious. Patties are handmade and you can add any dress veggie. fries are made from real potatoes grown in the area. For the first time, I find fries that are better than McDonalds! I do love a Five Guys moment but picking up from here is always very chaotic. Ordering online is easy but picking up never is! Despite checking in when my food is supposed to be ready I always end up waiting another 15-20 mins for the food to be ready which isn't ideal considering there's always a few dozen people inside also waiting - not great for social distancing and you kind of have to stay inside to wait since there's no way to know when your food will be ready. It'd be nice if they had some kind of check in system where you wait in your car and only go inside once your food is ready to avoid the large number of people waiting inside. That said, I do always enjoy their food and also love their milkshakes. read more

Stopped here for lunch as I really wanted a burger. I got a bacon burger and it was delicious and filling. I forgot how many toppings you can get. The list of toppings is very long including mushrooms and onions. We also got fries but took them home as we decided to get dessert instead. What I miss is the coca cola machine with all the flavors but due to covid 19, drinks are only in bottles. Since there is no dining in, there is a large area to wait and socially distance. I really like this location because 1) it is near my house; 2) there is ample parking although this moron in a beat-up Caprice keeps parking in both a regular spot while over the line into a handicapped spot; 3) there is ample seating. Just like the other A2 location, the burgers are delicious and the hand-cut fries in peanut oil are plentiful (delicious too!). I like milkshakes but mine was a bit thin for my taste. Oh well. This place is horribly slow. Most of the workers don't give a sh¡t about your order in comparison to their work/team member bullsh¡t, and it shows. Unfortunately for me, this location is the closest at 35 minutes away, with the next one being 25 extra minutes away. Don't have high expectations when coming here. You know, I love five guys. I love the good burgers, and their great fries. The shakes are underrated: better shakes than Dairy Queen. However, the past few times I've been to this five guys, I've had less than satisfactory experiences. I could go into details and nit pick all the issues I had, but I'm going to skip those because they weren't too bad, just some annoyances. However, the last time I went changed things for me, which I'm sad to say. I went the other day, and got a plain (I know, it's boring, but It was what I was craving) bacon cheeseburger with fries. I asked for a shake, but the man said the machine was broken. At first I didn't have a problem with that, until while I was waiting for my food, ANOTHER WORKER MADE SOMEONE A SHAKE. Denying service for something just because you don't feel like it is disgraceful service, and really shows how little you care about your job. Once I got my food, I noticed some issues with it. It appeared that whoever made my burger accidentally put everything on it, but rather than make another one, they SLOPPILY took everything off. I'm telling you, you've never seen a sadder burger; meat half off the bun, cheese half off the meat, ketchup and mustard stains on the bun, and the occasional onion. This was unacceptable. I wish I took a picture of it. The fries were soggy and undercooked, which was dissapointing, because five guys fries are always so good. I ate a few and had to throw the rest away, because they tasted like the paper bag. After this visit, it's going to take a bit of time for me to visit this specific five guys again. Let it be known (again) that I love five guys, and that's what's boosting this to a 2 star for me: I know this place is good. Happy to see Five Guys on this side of town... it's 2 minutes from my house, so gotta be careful or I'll be eating here 7 days a week. It's bad enough that they cook burgers to well done, but they actually burnt mine black. While placing my order for 1 burger, the cashier tried to sell me fries, then a drink, then a bigger drink for a "better value", then a shake, and then a bottled water. Each time I said no, he just tried to sell me something else. I've been a total of three times to this location and each time is a disappointment. I've been to this location plenty of times over the years, I just love Five Guys. They recently hired a bunch of new guys and the experience has been so much better lately. The guys are extremely kind, efficient, and hard working. They always seem like they could use one more employee working so I expect to wait a little when I come in to pick up an online order. However the food is always hot, fresh, and excellently made. I'll take such positive customer service and hot well made food any day, even if I have to wait a few extra minutes. And yes, it's Five Guys, so you're going to pay more than at Wendy's, it's way better. read more

This place was always my number 1 place for burgers and i would give it no less than 5 stars till their staff team changed and the whole experience became dry, disinterested, cold and stale (both people and worse, food wise!) I like a Five Guys burger when I am in a rush because I can get a quality burger without much wait. The fries and burgers are always hot here and they have never messed up my order. Three things keep this place from getting a 5 Star review. 1) the design of this place makes it so it is always loud. It can be impossible to have a conversation in here at times. 2) the staff can be loud AF sometimes. I get having fun at your work but it would be nice if they were not yelling at the top of their lungs sometimes. 3) this isn't the cleanest restaurant I have been in.
