Honestly, I wouldn't pay attention to any of the bad reviews on here. This place is consistent and the food is about as good as you can get from a McDonald's. I come here all the time and The employees are nice and it's super clean. It's definitely the best McDonald's around here by far. I will drive out of my way to go here. I hope they keep up the good work. I think I've only got one screwed up order in the last 10 years? Only one time and that's totally acceptable to have a mistake or two from time to time. read more

Normally McDonald's has a problem with consistency until you find "The One" and I can say that this location is the closest thing I found to that. The people are usually very nice and last time I went in it was close to closing and we were given a few free McDonald's pies. I would highly recommended this location. read more

You know what? This is hands down the most reliable MCDs in the Ann Arbor area. Even before the pandemic. But now? Shout out to them for keepin it safe and keepin it hot! I had just finished rummaging around my storage unit and was too dirty and tired to want to cook. We hadn't done a drive thru like this since the start of the pandemic so I figured I'd give it a go. Because when those McDonald's fries hit? They hit GOOD. The whole process was so smooth. I did Apple Pay so it was quick and touchless, they had double plexiglass to keep their workers safe. Everyone was wearing masks (I even craned my head to check the folks in the back and everyone was masked up, noses included!) and the whole transaction was super quick. And tonight? Oh, and had to walk next door to BP to buy D.Coke bec too much syrup in McDonald's dispense & they gave us another from behind the counter & it was no different. I went in at 10:30 pm after checking into my hotel. It was the only thing nearby still open. I fully expected a mediocre or crappy experience, because let's face it. Late night McDonald's is generally just that. I was met at the counter by what appeared to be the manager. He greeted me with a smile and was polite. I wasn't told to order at a kiosk, as I've been told in other McDonald's. I only waited a few minutes for my food and it was fresh and perfect. I was pleasantly mistaken with my expectations of this establishment, late on a Tuesday night. Great job sir. read more

Service and food are fantastic. One of the workers always greets me with an "Ahoy!" and wears awesome ties that just make me smile. My one complaint is the WiFi/phone signal. There's a huge dead zone of signal around the restaurant, and the Wi-Fi only works inside. This renders the mobile app completely useless: I can't count the number of times I've had to go inside to pick up a curbside order. Very frustrating, but all thing considered, I would still recommend. read more

What what, an automated touch-screen ordering kiosk? Wasn't sure how I felt about that the first time I tried it. It took a little time to figure out that not all sandwiches were listed under...sandwiches. Ordering coffee and having to pick between individual buttons for black, sugar, cream, cream and sugar, double cream, etc. was decidedly more confusing than just telling a person at the counter "Medium coffee, black." It was easier the second time around, and I won't have a problem using it in the future. Best if you're paying with a card so you can skip the additional step of going to the counter to pay cash. I haven't tried this system while the restaurant was busy, so I don't know how it moves a crowd along. I'll be fine if I never have to find out. The food here? I usually order some kind of chicken sandwich and the one's I've had have always been up to snuff. They're hot, have plenty of toppings (guac was piled thick on the the pico guacamole number I picked up last Saturday), are well assembled. Fries have always been fresh, the kind you look for from this chain. Did appreciate them going an extra mile once when they brewed a fresh pot of decaf for me when I came in for some late in the afternoon and they were out. My fiancé and I stopped at this location to get a fish filet on Good Friday. What we got was the most absurd "sandwich" I've ever seen. Pic 1 was the first attempt, so we went back to ask politely for a replacement. Pic 2 was a bigger joke. I know it's fast food, but this is ridiculous. Haven't had any problems here outside of using the app, but everyone is nice and food is always fresh. It gets busy here during peak hours, but outside of that it's one of the better fast food places in the area. Just be careful leaving out. Traffic is nasty here. read more

This is what a standard McDonald's should be like. The interior and bathrooms are very modern and clean. The food came in a timely manner and was not soggy/overcooked. Compared to other McDonalds that I have been around the Ann Arbor area, this one was definitely of higher quality in both service and food. read more

As some of the workers would say as I've overheard when I've come in to pick up some DoorDash orders, the staff are very "Cash Money" and their services are definitely "Slaying". This particular location hasn't failed me once! Always have the orders ready and neatly packaged. read more

I generally don't go to fast food restaurants, so I generally don't grade fast food restaurants. It's like people who clean the bathrooms at rest stops along the highway - I know they exist, but I'd rather not be introduced to them. But since I travel all hours on I-94 between Chicago and Toronto, and because sometimes I'm thinking more about driving than eating, I have found myself at 3 am on the road suddenly starving with few or no options. I don't enjoy eating in my car, and I really don't want ready to eat foods (whether healthy like a banana or dangerous like a Hostess cupcake or twelve from a Meijer's). I want to take break from sitting in my car and sit at a table and eat in peace and quiet for at least a few minutes. And this McDonald's has a dining room that is open 24 hours a day. So if I'm in the area at that time of night and there's no way I can last to eat at one of the restaurants at Firekeepers, or maybe I'm not even headed in that direction, I appreciate knowing there's a McDonald's on Zeeb Road a few feet off the highway. Now McDonald's food is as a whole pretty dreadful, made ordinarily only for the taste buds of non discriminating teenagers and Millennials. The food here is no different. The burgers in all their variations are pitiful. I associate a certain smell and taste to McDonald's burgers that must originate from my youth - McDonald's burgers (burgers, cheeseburgers, Quarter Pounders, Big Macs) just don't taste or smell the same way anymore. But the French Fries are salty and hot and yummy. I wish all restaurants made their French Fries like McDonald's. Those French Fries are the benchmark. Coffee is decent, as are any breakfast items that involve biscuits. If McDonald's made a sandwich composed of a biscuit and fries I'd be in heaven - followed by a diabetic coma later. This McDonald's has an institutionalized playroom for children you don't particularly like. Brightly lit painted white cement block doesn't ever feel very playful to me, but it must be easy to hose down. If you are a parent, maybe finding a McDonald's with something that looks like a prison shower is a plus. The drive thrus are also open 24 hours a day. I never use them because I refuse to talk over dimestore intercoms. read more

I work as a bartender so not many places to eat after work but whenever I stop here I'm always greeted with a smile(even through the intercom) order is always right and thanked for coming in. This is an excellent McDonald's restaurant. I live nearby so if I need a quick meal this is my fast food destination of choice. The food is served hot and fresh at all hours of the day. The best thing about this McDonald's is the 24 hour drive through. It is the only place nearby that serves hot food 24 hours a day. Other fast food joints in the area are only open until 1am or so. Every time I have visited this McDonald'a I have been served with excellent customer service. Only downside: it's a McDonald's, the food is....well, food, but obviously nothing incredibly special. read more
