Stopped for burger and small fries. Service at counter was quick and efficient. Bad news: this was $15.14 with tax! It was around 3 0m, and not too busy. Order accurately delivered in about 15 min. Somehow another, larger more complex, order was jumped ahead. Lots of meat (two thick Patties) very juicy burger. Can customize what put on it. They fry in peanut oil, and tell you what town the pita rate from (unsure why that matters). Free shelled peanuts.

Stopped here for lunch as I really wanted a burger. I got a bacon burger and it was delicious and filling. I forgot how many toppings you can get. The list of toppings is very long including mushrooms and onions. We also got fries but took them home as we decided to get dessert instead. What I miss is the coca cola machine with all the flavors but due to covid 19, drinks are only in bottles. Since there is no dining in, there is a large area to wait and socially distance. My son enjoyed the burger as it was his first time. I like that the potatoes are fresh and makes for delicious fries, today's potatoes came from Idaho.

    Looking at the grill.

I really like this location because 1) it is near my house; 2) there is ample parking although this moron in a beat-up Caprice keeps parking in both a regular spot while over the line into a handicapped spot; 3) there is ample seating. Just like the other A2 location, the burgers are delicious and the hand-cut fries in peanut oil are plentiful (delicious too!). I like milkshakes but mine was a bit thin for my taste. Oh well. Just focus on the tasty fries! The staff is very friendly at this new location. Very clean restrooms too! There is a rumor about a Zeeb Road location. True? Curious minds want to know!

This spot has always been good and has continued to offer excellent food and service during these days of COVID restrictions.

Lefty's Ann Arbor - Best Cheesesteak! Sam's Cheesesteak with Sauteed Onions & Green Peppers, with chopped ribeye steak, lots of cheese!

We ordered 3 large cheesesteaks, 2 fries, and cheesesteak rolls, plus paid extra for add ons like cherry peppers on the side. Not only did they forget the extras entirely, but the "large" sandwiches were a joke. They used bigger buns and apparently decided that counted as a larger sandwich, because there was definitely not more meat. In fact, the meat barely covered HALF the bread. We literally have to cook extra meat at home just to turn these into actual cheesesteaks. And the cheesesteak rolls? The menu photo shows four halves. What showed up was ONE roll cut in half. That's it. The curly fries were the only thing remotely worth the money. Charging extra for every tiny add on while simultaneously skimping on the actual food (and the addons) is wild. If you're going to charge premium prices, at least put enough meat on the sandwich to justify calling it a cheesesteak.

The taste was excellent and the volume, huge. The bun was warm and fresh. I can't tolerate stale bread. The Beef steak sub with mushrooms and cheese (onions). Had a lot of beef. Almost too much. Maybe a mistake based on what I've been reading. Or that's the norm for here. It's a bit pricey, but it was a pretty big sub. I think we'll be back on our next romp through Ann Arbor. 10/25

I visited recently with another adult and 2 kiddos as we sought something to do on a cold day. The bowling activity hit the spot! Reservations are highly recommended in a weekend, but we were lucky enough to get a walk-up lane. We had a good hour to bowl, and the addition of the bumpers for the kids didn't harm the adults' scores either. Most importantly, everyone had a great time, and we were all looking forward to going back at some point soon.

You just have to book online a week or so in advance in order to make sure you get the lanes you want for your group size. One note is that if you have to pay for your people ahead of time, but won't get a refund if you overbook, so only pay for the minimum amount of people needed for the number of lanes you want and then add on later. The prices for food/drinks/bowling are all super reasonable, which is one of the reasons I keep coming back! ($15.99 for 2 hours of bowling + shoe rentals) A great activity to do during the cold Michigan winters!
