The name sounded a little bland but the food is VERY flavorful and delicious!! We ordered the Mediterranean salad with grilled chicken and the Pasta Fresca. The Pasta Fresca was sooo good! It is something my husband makes as well. It's healthy with spinach and tomatoes and soo tasty with the seasoning and feta cheese! I am excited to try their other dishes. Waahhh two more of my go-tos are now gone. Bye bye to the BBQ pork mac AND the truffle mac. Why do you hurt me so, Noodles & Company? We've pretty much stopped ordering from here because there isn't anything left that I like enough. And in the winters we used to order from here A LOT because it was the perfect quick, cozy food. Was I the only one who liked these items? Did it make sense for them to pull them because only one person, Annette J in Ann Arbor MI, was ordering them? Maybe! Is my taste so unique that somehow the 5 things I liked best are their worst sellers? IDK. But either way, it's a real bummer. I guess I'll try the chicken parm and hope for the best. This is a new location for me but picked it due to the not needing to park in a structure as it is common in the other Ann Arbor location. I also like the drive up option of this location. It is very convenient in cold weather or parents of littles. The staff is friendly and welcoming. I tried a new dish this time, the classic spaghetti and meatballs. It was hearty and delicious but I still consider another item my favorite. If coming from my home, this will definitely be my choice to visit again. read more

I don't know if it is post pandemic or what, but the ambiance of this restaurant was just not what it used to be. When we were there, all the food is packaged in plastic, even if it is to eat in. They used to use real plates and silverware. The team was short and the manager was rude. He saw that we were standing in line and did not even look up to acknowledge us. It would have been fine if he would have said, we will be with you in just a moment. Then I would have known that he cared. We ordered our food and it was brought out to us. When I said do you want our number, the gentleman said no, that is how we know which tables are dirty. Every table in the place had a number on it. While we were eating inside, I could hear the manager complaining to another guest how short he was and that he was going to have to close the dining room. I felt as if I should take the bucket of water and sponge that was near the overflowing garbage and wipe tables myself. A guest should never be complained to, especially loud enough that another guest across the dining room can hear. And especially, a guest should NEVER feel guilty for eating inside the dining room. I do not know that I will come back here again. And that is sad because this was one of my favorite restaurants. read more

Last couple of times we have come here, the service has been awful. They often times tell you if attempting to dine in that you will need to wait 20-30 min to even order. The woman who works the counter is often very rude. So I figured the next couple go arounds I would try ordering ahead through the app for pick up in the drive thru. I gave them a future order of 1 hour and when I got there they told me they had too many orders and I would have to wait 20 more minutes. So, we wait the 20 min since I had paid and the kids love the Mac n cheese, go back through the drive through and it's another 15 min wait. Food was good, staff was friendly but the facility was very messy and in complete disarray. There were no forks available for the longest time and then we were finally provided with plastic ones. I had to wipe the table and chairs down myself in order to sit and eat. We will return but hope the seating area will be cleaner. read more

These guys and gals are amazing. I ordered through the app but something happened and it cancelled my order but bank was still trying to process it. The manager Nino spoke to me and said just in case so it wouldn't process twice he actually took care of my meal rather than charge me a second time. This new location hosted a private tasting from 7/10 to 7/14. Open to the public MONDAY 7/15! The food is a lot fresher and better prepared than their State St and Washtenaw location. This location boosts better parking and a more neighborhood vibe. They also feature drive through pick up service which is wonderful when you don't feel like cooking. Food at Noodles and CO is always underseasoned but they have fresh salt/pepper grinders so you can season to taste. Overall, I'm excited for this new edition to the West Side! read more

I'd never heard of Noodles & Co., but I happened to drive by Noodles & Co. on my lunch break, and didn't have much time, but my noodles came out so quick and my bowl was a decent size for just $6. The penne rosa was pretty good, had a lot of shaved parmesan on top, and the Indonesian peanut saute was even better. I was glad the noodle dishes weren't bland but had a lot of flavor. And to top it all off, the staff was friendly and nice, and even came to check up on how we liked the food! (update: The chipotle adobo bowl w/ pork is my new fave!) Well first visit didn't go quite as planned; we order ahead by phone at 6 PM. We were told it would be 15 minutes. Arrived at 6:19pm and was told they could not find our order. I was asked 4 or 5 times, "What did you order again?". Finally the girl at the drive up window said, well I remember you calling, but it just disappeared, It will take about 5 seconds to get you another order. I ordered 2 square bowls one Japan fried noodle, one Indonesian peanut (really big, feeds 3 to 5 people each) and had a BOGO coupon from the mail. I went to pay and she said it would be $11, which did not seem right, but I thought she was comping me for losing my order. After about 5 minutes, she came back and said, this coupon will not work for the regular bowl size sir... then I explained, for the fifth or sixth time that I wanted 2 square bowls to go. At this point it is 6:30 - she finally gave me my credit card back and instructed me to go park and someone would bring it out. Six minutes later, it arrived. Far from "5 seconds." So I called at 6, was told to pick up my food at 6:15, arrived at 6:19 and sat until 6:36 with an 11 month old, 3 year old and 5 year old in the car.... Not sure I will be trying the take out again. Noodles the Company - July 2018. Noodles on Stadium Ave. in Ann Arbor has made quite an impression with our guests this past weekend. We hosted a reunion and with around 25 mouths to feed we elected to try Noodles catering. We had eaten there before and found it tasty but was hesitant in trying to serve something like that which would have to sit out for a period of time. They made it easy for us. They provided everything from the food that was equally as tasty in quantity as a simple bowl inside the restaurant, to warming trays and plenty of forks etc: All of that was relatively inexpensive and exactly on time for pick up. First off, I absolutely love Noodles & Co. The employees here are always friendly and go out of their way to provide awesome service. However, I've experienced 2 problems over my last few visits. Twice the noodles were basically stone cold and this was explained the first time as one of the machines being on the fritz. Fine, no problem they prepared a new pipping hot replacement. On that visit, there was no siracha sauce because they were waiting for a delivery. Today, once again it was missing, but a bottle was produced when asked. Which brings me to the second problem. Again, my order of the Alfredo was cold, and additionally was missing the chicken this time. A new dish was quickly prepared. I can live with that, everyone makes mistakes. The problem is the portions seem to have really gotten smaller with no decrease in price. And this wasn't a one off, both the first and second bowl prepared were the same small size. When I asked, I was told that they had gotten larger bowls, but my stomach told me something different. Has anyone else noticed this? read more

This review is based on TWO visits to this Noodles location. A month ago I was here for lunch with a colleague, we both walked in and ordered at about 11:15 (15 mins after opening) and I got my order in about 5 minutes but my colleague waited almost 15 mins and still did not get her food. I had the chicken pesto cavatappi (and paid for extra mushrooms) and my colleague had one of the soups. There were other customers that arrived after us that were getting their food before her. While we waited for her food, I started eating my lunch. I looked through my bowl and barely had any mushrooms, which I actually paid more for extra mushrooms. And while eating, I found pineapples in my bowl of chicken pesto cavatappi. At this time we found a worker and told her that we're still waiting for soup and that there was pineapples in my pasta and I did not get extra mushrooms that I paid for. She apologized and got me a new bowl and my colleague continued to wait for her soup. In the end my colleague had to get her bowl of soup to go because we only have an hour for lunch and need time to drive back to work. The worker did give us comps for a free bowl next time. This now leads me to today's visit. I went to this same location to redeem my free bowl and I didn't even get served. I arrived at the door at 11:19, and the sliding door wouldn't open. I looked inside and I saw a lady in a coat eating at one of the tables. I saw a worker inside who just looked at me at the window and kept cleaning. I stood there thinking she was coming to the door and she did not. I waved and she came to the door and tried talking through the door. I yelled what?! And she unlocked the door and said they're not open yet. I looked at the hours on the door and it said 11am, I said to her it's after 11. And she said they're not ready yet, I asked, how long before you guys are ready? She said, "Awhile" and shut and locked the door. Not only was she rude she could have told me a little more information or given me a specific time. And they should post a note on the door saying they're not open yet and why. I've only been to this location twice and both times I've left disappointed. read more

Recently I received the wrong item at the window so I called in and spoke with a manager. He was very helpful and more than made up for the error on my next order, so still Five Stars! read more

Would I go again? Absolutely. But I have mixed feelings about Noodles & Company (as a whole). Years ago, this was one of my go-to places for a nice meal that was not fast food but was also not going to break the bank. I drop in now and again, and I think the food tastes fine but the quality - food, price point, ambience, choices, service - became just okay in many ways. Perhaps the fact that I don't eat pasta as much (overall) as I used to is also an issue. I tried the vegetable noodles and thought they were fine, but not great. An ideal portion of pasta for me these days would be small and preferably paired with a veg-heavy salad of some sort. I was always a bit underwhelmed by their soups and last I checked the salad options were limited, but maybe things have changed. This location itself is okay, but I can't say anything really stood out good or bad the last time I went. If someone wanted to meet there - sure no argument from me. Sometimes I will get random ingredients hidden in my dish like an accidental onion piece or some sesame seeds. What really bumped up their score was the service. Everyone here, from the person who takes my order to the person that delivers it, are incredibly friendly and attentive. Everyone speaks with a smile which contributes to the relaxed atmosphere. What pulls the review down is the food. It tastes alright and they have decent variety but it's pretty standard and sometimes tasteless. The Japanese pan noodles with steak are my go-to as they seem to have the most robust flavor. Due to a misunderstanding (basically my fault) we did not get one of the dishes, which I found out about only once I started distributing the food. First time I've been to Noodles and I was pleasantly surprised. I had the Indonesian Peanut Sauté with grilled chicken. I also ordered some pot stickers as well. The service was fast and friendly for my take out order. When I got home everything was hot and tasty. The pot sticker dip had a nice spicy kick to it as did the noodle bowl. My last time here was amazing I ordered the buttered noodles with steak added and I could not believe the flavor pouring out of each noodle! I asked the staff what they used in them and they said each bowl of buttered noodles gets two sticks of butter and 2 ounces of pesto powder, the perfect combo for a good buttered noodle dish! I am trying to break up with these guys, but I keep going back hoping that it gets better and well - it's not. I am sitting here eating a pretty lame serving of chicken pad thai. The noodles are burned and there is literally NO sauce, making this meal more of a burned noodles, NO pad thai sauce with sparse veggies and sparse chicken type of experience. I just spent over $9 on this exceptionally poor tasting meal. If this were the first or second time, I'd pass on writing a review. I have wanted to try Noodle & Company since I heard about it, but the closest location to me is over 2 hours away. So when a work trip brought me to Michigan, I jumped at the chance! From the welcome when I walked in, to the last bite of my food, everything exceeded my expectations!!! It was a hard decision, but after some helpful feedback from the staff, I went with the Bangkok Curry, and oh my goodness am I glad I did!! Sweet and spicy, the vegatables still had their crispness and the tofu was perfectly grilled!!! The cesar side salad was a nice size and was fresh. This topped with a free rice crispy treat when they heard it was my first time, and I can't do anything but give 5 Stars. I hope they come to Philly!!! read more

I am usually a big fan of noodles and company but yesterdays experience really threw me. While the experience started off as only awkward, it got worse. My friend and I went to grab a quick dinner, we each ordered and waited for our food. Mine was delivered first, but when my friends was delivered the person serving us started up a conversation about the unique pairing of chicken and pasta my friend ordered. This would have been fine but she went on about how exotic the combination was (penne rosa and parm chicken are a featured item on the menu... not very exotic). She then turned to me and asked what I had paired up. I explained that I don't eat meat so I just went with pasta. This is when she started accosting me. She asked me how long I hadn't eaten meat and made a big show out of that I had at one point in my life eaten meat and that negated any vegetarianism I was to do in my future. She kept asking me how old I was and then saying "oh so all these years later you stop eating meat! What about those first 20-somthing years". My friend and I were dumbfounded as to why she was talking to us in the first place. After berating me she then said that maybe one day she could get to the point where she too doesn't eat meat, and then told me about how she is against eating pork. I never once asked for any of this information from her. She finally left us by saying she needed to find religion before anything else. I have no words to describe how odd this situation was. I really enjoy the food at Noodles & Co., so it disappoints me to have to give this place a low review score. But they completely...and I mean completely...screwed up my order on a recent visit. A simple mistake I expect once in a while - no biggie - but in this case it was pure carelessness from top to bottom. To provide a little more detail: our order included two side salads, neither of which was put in the to-go bag (I discovered when I got home). Also, I ordered and paid for extra broccoli on both noodle dishes, but there were only a few meager pieces on both (in this case, Indonesian peanut saute). Finally, I ordered mine "extra spicy" but they interpreted that as extra spicy for both, which resulted in my wife being dissatisfied at how hot hers ended up. Neither of us wanted to take the half hour to make the round trip back to the store to have the order corrected, so we ate what we had, and it was good. It just wasn't what we ordered and it was less than what we paid for. Again, disappointed here because even though Noodles & Co. is a chain, to date my experiences there have been more positive and I had come to think of it in terms of quality as more like a "local place" where the employees actually take pride in what they're doing. We ordered pad thai and pesto. Both were flavorless. The chicken was decent but other toppings were a little scant. My son had spaghetti, the meatballs looked dry and unappetizing. My salad wasn't bad; the lettuce was fresh. There was one tiny cube of tomato.. The restaurant wasn't very busy but there were several un-bussed tables. The staff were very friendly, the gal that took our order was very pleasant and the service (other than dirty tables) was the best part of the experience. I don't think we will be back here.
