I usually finish a 5 guys meal feeling like I paid too much for a fast food burger, but that it was worth it. I can't say that's true of this location. I can at least say they are consistent: Consistently slow. Consistently inaccurate at filling the order. Consistently apathetic. The last burger I got here was overcooked to the point it was inedible, and was the last straw. Even if the price were the same, I'd choose McDonald's over this 5 guys location. read more

I love 5 guys and have been to locations all over the country. This location isn't great, they aren't even trying to make a good burger. It must be management or the franchise owner that simply doesn't care, so it's reflected in the product. Recently I got a delivery and the tomatoes were so hard, I'd need a knife to cut through the raw white core. I pulled them out of the sandwich and if I'd been inside the restaurant I'd ask for a new one. I can't imagine making a sandwich and placing those on a burger without noticing it's pure garbage. Five Guys sounds like a porn I filmed recently. I'm finally walking normally. To say that I'm not a fan of Five Guys would be a massive understatement of the century because Five Guys is like one of the worst burgers that I've ever had but there are actually way worse ones like Shake Shack, like Wendy's, so you can actually get worse than this Believe It or Not. Although I wouldn't recommend trying. Service at this location was not very good and both me and my 5G loving friend agreed that the slice of pizza next door which was my choice was better than the Five Guys Burger and Fries which was his choice. In fact he said he'd be coming back for more of the pizza, so I guess I'm the winner. I can't believe I had to eat half a 5 Guys burger (a 6 dollar burger no less) and at least 7 fries in order to prove my point. 2 stars because it doesn't taste as bad as Wendy's. Or Shake Shack. 4 stars for the food but -1 for the cleanliness inside. Overall very tasty burger though not particularly presentable. I understand that it is difficult since they wrap it in aluminum foil but maybe something to think about for the future (box?). Unfortunately the location was very dirty. All tables had dried stains on them from sauces and peanut shells. And of course it is nice that we get peanuts for free, definitely a plus! But something should be done to make sure the peanuts are not all over the restaurant as it makes it look very sloppy. read more

I'm not the biggest fan of Five Guys for a few different reasons, and haven't eaten at their chain in a few years. It's been a while, so I thought I would give it a shot to see if anything's changed. For starters, the prices are a bit lower then I remember. I went with a single cheeseburger, no fries no drink. The total was only $5.50. Nice! I considered getting fries, but passed since I wasn't feeling them tonight. The food was freshly made to order, and they called my number and gave me the food in the usual brown bag. Why can't they have trays? I did dine in, and found a nice place to sit, so that was cool. Until the register girl decided to start cleaning the dining area and slamming the chairs around very loudly. Anyways, It was okay here, but still not my favorite place. Better then some, but still not on my radar of places I want to go. The burger was good, but beyond that, it doesn't really appeal to me. read more

I'm a new Five Guys customer and each time the employees can answer my questions about ordering food and the menu itself. I LOVE that Five Guys offers the lettuce wrap option. Not only does the burger taste better but I love that variety as not many places offer a lettuce wrap. The cheese melts perfectly and the patties are well seasoned. Ok Bacon cheeseburger it's big, and if you want the extra free toppings are Relish, Onions, Jalapeno Peppers, Green Peppers, A1 Steak Sauce, Bar bq sauce, Hot Sauce. All free. Just in case you wanta add a little more jalapeno peppers and stake sauce to your massive bacon cheeseburger you can, now thats 2 patties %100 beef and should fill any hole in your belly. Visited this branch a few times now, always providing consistent results. Place sits probably 40ish people, in an open and roomy layout. I do recommend sharing the fries with another person, as they arrive overflowing in the cup. When you place your order you pick between a hamburger, cheeseburger, baconcheeseburger. After that all toppings are FREE so pick as many as you like! Everything is made to order and the toppings are deliciously fresh. I recommend the cajun fries, as they are very tasty and mix it up from the normal fries. I do not visit often, but when I am feeling a solid burger and fries meal, this is the place to go. read more

I'm in total agreement with Ted H. We too are Five Guys fans but we'll not return to this location until their employees are retrained in how to provide basic customer service. We arrived and placed our order at 6:20PM but never received our food for over 30 minutes. The group of employees were too busy running into the back and coming out chewing or swallowing food. Out of a total of five employees that we saw maybe one of them attended to the customers. One poor man and his daughter had their order given to someone else and never got theirs for almost an hour after they had ordered. My wife's Little Hamburger was so soaked in mustard that she had to throw half of the bun away. I ordered extra onion on my Cheeseburger but had to ask for more as there were hardly any on it. The owners/managers really need to do something about the attitude of the employees and their lack of customer service training. read more

I don't understand the hype around this place. Although one look at the decor and you start to understand the brainwashing. The interior is plastered with posters of rave reviews from around the country of various Five Guys franchises. I dunno, most great restaurants don't try so hard to put their "greatness" in your face. A regular burger, fries, and drink cost $9.94. Is this the best you can do for a ten dollar meal? Not really. The burger was OK. They do give you plenty of fries, I had my fill with all the ones spilled over the inside of the bag before I even got to the cup they put them in. The thick cut fries are not my favorite. I've been to a chain called Smashburger out west that I thought did it a bit better. At least they had their "smash sauce" and offered sweet potato fries to give some uniqueness for your ten dollar burger meal. After two visits to Five Guys, I think I'm done there. I'd probably be more enthused if they had a "wow" item on their menu or else had the same meal they have today for $6.50, but I'm just not feeling it there. Great Burgers. Probably a four on the food scale but definitely a take-out choice. The cajun fries are also good - one order can feed two or three. And remember their regular burger is TWO patties and the small is a single - both are very good. They have sweet tea and the typical soda mix. Don't not go here for the atmosphere. I came from California to see what all the hype was about Five Guys during a visit to one of my friends in Lansing. I'm from Northern California, and yes I know there's a new Five Guys in Fremont but I didn't have time to head out there last time I was back home (because I went to Michigan). Let me just say, it doesn't compare to In-N-Out back in California just in the sense that it's a completely different product. Another commenter said it's a "lesser" version. Frankly, that's not even fair or in the ballpark of what describes Five Guys. Really what Five Guys reminded me of is the times I grilled burgers myself on the grill (done perfectly). If you love toppings on your burger, this is definitely the place to go - they have a wide assortment of delicious toppings. The taste is delicious, though I have to agree the price tag is a little absurd. There is a fair amount of 'hype' that goes into this place to have the prices be so high for a burger, but you know what? I'd go again and pay the same price. It was really just that good. Some say the Canjun fries are over seasoned, heck I say they're perfect. Beware: I'm a big guy, a double patty burger plus large cajun fries put me in ultra food coma mode. I'd suggest sharing fries if possible if you're going big on the burger. I had the gnarliest food coma in a long time after eating this. I'm coming home for Chrismas to th Bay Area, so I'll probably try the Five Guys in Fremont just to compare in a week! read more

In my quest to find the perfect burger (which I may have found at Kuma's in Chicago or Burger's and Brats near Dallas), I've often overlooked Five Guys. I often think, "Five Guys are all over the place, I'm gonna find something that I can't get anywhere else". Often times, that sort of thinking leads me to a gem, but too often it's led me away from Five Guys. Just get the regular Cheeseburger and get it "All the Way" and you will see what I'm talking about--juicy, messy, cheesy, beefy--everything a good burger should be. One thing about Five Guys that drives me insane: WHY DO YOU GIVE ME SO MANY FRIES!!! Seriously, cut my fry order in half and I still have too many. This place was amazing!! Simple menu, and good food! I am not a pretentious douche and I could care less if this is a chain restaurant or not, it was still good. My wife and I went just after lunch. I have been to this Five Guys Burgers location a few times now and each time everything was great. We have ordered the burgers as well as the hot dogs and both were outstanding. Being able to order online or on the app is really convenient. We have been able to stop in, wait a few minutes as they wrap up the food and add the fries and then on our way. This place can make a decent burger but it is absolutely filthy. I had to take my disabled son to use the restroom and the floor is so greasy that he couldn't get traction to stand. You can see the grease on the floor in the main dining room and the staff was wiping tables with only napkins. No solvents. The pop machines were out if most choices and the regular coke tasted bad. Management was alerted to the problem with the machines and did nothing. Also no shakes at this location. read more

I want to like 5 Guys, but after multiple tries, I just don't. The best thing about the place is that they have one of those soft drink-mixing machines where you can craft your own soda. I visited, was yawned at by the order-taker, and had to wait for a mediocre burger. The hand cut fries were small, over cooked, but cold and mushy, with too much salt. Honestly, if the price was half lower wouldn't complain, but there is no way that this crappy meal should cost $13. read more

The burgers were good, but they did miss a topping on one of the burgers. My issue is the cleanliness. There are are 15 tables in the restaurant and only 3 had people at them, but most were dirty. I cannot believe it took me this long to try this place out. I went the first time with my wife and I was instantly sold. It reminded me of some of the better hamburger places I used to make special trips to in Chicago. The burgers and toppings are just plain delicious. The amount of food you get is massive and the atmosphere is fun. If you are hungry for a good burger--big and just the way you like it, this is the place to go. I'm a fan of Five Guys. Their burgers are great and the cajun fries are awesome. Keep in mind their normal burger has 2 patties so they're big, order the small burger for 1 patty. Oh and go with the small order of fries because they give you a cup full of them, plus another large handful after. It equals like 2 or so large McDs fries.
