Finally a burger place my husband and I can both agree on. Food ( most important): the menu is simple enough to not over complicate an American classic. The toppings for the burgers are fresh and the veggies still have a crispness to them that thoroughly satisfies. Atmosphere (almost as important as food): Nice, clean and well lit. The staff (Gabriel) was super nice, she was informative and eager to help. Such a relief when the staff is pleasant instead of annoyed that they have to serve you. First two I asked for a side of ketchup and never got it, no biggie (it's not crazy that they would assume I already have ketchup @ home) just went to the store and got some ketchup. Both times were good but this third time was a charm for me for this location. I forgot to ask for a side of ketchup but I got two anyways (: the burger I ordered was to be medium rare and it was somewhere in-between medium and medium rare which is smart since most people don't actually understand what medium rare actually is. It sounds cheesy but he or she layered the burger perfect so there were evenly distributed bites, the fries were the best I've had at a five guys so far, you could taste that they actually cared. I'm a chef and get overly critical at times but for what I got I thought it was totally worth it =°^.^°= (Small bacon cheese burger, "all in" with grilled jalapeños, and small Cajun fries) it's the perfect amount for me personally, I think the regular burgers are honestly more for hungry boys. It's an orgasm in my mouth every time I put Five Guys into it. Everything is perfect from the free nuts that greet you on your way in, to the soda machine that literally provides you with billions or probably trillions of drink combinations, to the perfectly sized, flavorful fries whether it's normal or cajun, and the burger that depending on how you order it, is just as good from the first to the final bites. Disgusting. I eat out several times a day. I got a meal here and the burger smelled gross. It smelled like ammonia, especially in the sauce. I've had 5 guys before and this was never the case. I think the cooks did something to my food... I went there at 9ish pm so maybe the workers during that shift thought it would be funny to taint ur food with their bodily fluids. Needless to say, I threw the burger out. Plus, even on a good day, 5 guys is barely "alright" not really delicious. Just greasy. The fries are also generally bland. And the price is ridiculous. I shelled out 20 bucks for a 1 person meal, which someone jizzed in. I should get the food lab tested and sue this establishment, because i could have been infected with aids or something. I don't have time for that though. I am dead serious, not a joke, I will never return to this 5 guys again, ever. And you should take your business elsewhere. They don't really have curbside pickup. The app wouldn't allow me to select curbside pickup at the Silver Spring location, but it did have the option at the Laurel location. But when I got to Laurel they said I'd have to come in to get it; they were short-staffed. Not happy. read more

The latest in a chain. I am glad this place is closer to home than the other 5 Guys. Parking in the small lot, which is shared with about 10 or so other business' can be tight, busy, and crazy. There is now a "security" guard sitting on a chair in the lot, I guess he is there for decoration. Being new, the crew there hustles and cranks orders out pretty quickly. I still order via the Android app AFTER I've found a parking spot and then just go in and pick up my order in a few minutes. Make sure you check the soda machine, if you're a geek like me, you'll think it's cool. Don't ever order a large order of fries unless you just want to throw all the ones you can't eat away... and at the price, that's not a good idea. Overall, I find Five Guys to be over priced and after the novelty wears off of being the "new kid in town" this will effect (yes, it's effect) their business. Enjoy and don't forget to grab some peanuts on the way out the door... I wouldn't recommend grabbing one of the 50 pound sacks, they might frown on that and call the security guard who would be pissed to have to get out of his chair. :-) read more

The burgers are incredibly good but the service is vet lacking. I called in an order for two burgers and the employee told me it would be ready when i got there. Weird i thought, but maybe they were slow or something. When i got there my order was not ready. They had not started making it yet. Last night I took my wife out for dinner to one of my favorite burger places where she ordered a hotdog with just ketchup and I ordered a little bacon cheeseburger. Shortly after getting our food my wife asked if there dogs where pork or beef? I said I am sure it's beef if they charged me $5.50 for just a dog plain, she said it taste really funny the dog is ice cold and the bun is crunchy as if it had been sitting out. I touched it and it was ice cold like if it had been cooked like an hr ago and they just slapped some ketchup on it. I asked want me to complain she said no I don't want to be that person I'll just order a shake and I'll be fine. About 5 hours after we had left she began to feel really week, getting a sour mouth and started breaking out into sweats to where she dropped to her knees I then gave her some water and rubbed her back till she felt good enough to go to bed then latter that night she was waking up running to the bathroom vomiting and having the runs. This place gave my wife food poisoning, it seems they try to save money by packaging old food that had been previously cooked and let them sit off to the side till someone orders it that way they don't have to throw it away. People beware do not eat at this place and if any one else got sick you are not alone this has been awful for my wife I don't think we will go back to this location makes me question the cleanliness of this restaurant and how it's being managed to allow old food to be sold to guest at a premium cost. read more
