Not only did the cashier keep slurring her words and apologizing saying how tired she was, (maybe she was on something or just didn't get enough sleep?) they forget the cheese and grilled onions I asked for, and the bacon was burnt to a crisp and tasted old, like it has been sitting out, and it completely fell apart. It was not edible! We threw it away. What a waste of 6+ dollars!!! Unfortunately we didn't have time to wait in the long line to get a new one or a refund, and didn't want to deal with the cashier again, so we left. 5 guys lost a few customers that night. We went here because everyone said their fries were the absolute best in the entire world. They were good, and they gave us lots so unless you're a huge and I do mean huge eater don't get any bigger than the regular size and that's way big enough for a generous portion for two. That said, I didn't think they were all that. I've had better. The burger was ok, nothing special. I gave this three stars instead of two because you can get many different toppings on the burgers for free which is nice but then the price of the burger and fries is way more expensive than the fast food places so maybe you're not getting a deal at all. read more

We always order to-go, so I can't speak for the ambience, necessarily. The burgers are greasy, in a good way, and flavorful. Our order is always perfect. My ONLY complaint are the fries. I'm a big fan of Five Guys! Love the burgers and fresh cut french fries. It's a bit expensive, which is why we don't eat there often, but it's always worth it when we do. I've been to this one in particular a few times. Food is always consistently good, and service is usually pleasant. Normally, I'd give it four or five stars based on my past experiences, but my most recent visit (today) left a bitter taste in my mouth. When I got off work, I picked up my two year old from pre-school and decided right then that we were going to go get a burger. I went home and changed (I didn't feel like wearing my work uniform), grabbed a twenty dollar bill, and we headed off! I ordered myself a cheeseburger with everything, got the little guy a little cheese burger with just ketchup, and a small fry for both of us. Of course, the small fry was still such a large portion that we couldn't eat it all! And, we both devoured our burgers. The young girl (I'm guessing a teenager) who worked the cash register was just barely pleasant enough to get by. But, it's fine with me, I'm not really there to socialize. She rang up our meal, which came out to $16.28. I pulled out my twenty and paid. This is notable, because I very rarely carry cash. There was no cash in my pockets or in my wallet other than this twenty dollar bill that I just picked up off the counter from my house. She gave me my change with the receipt on top. I vaguely remember noting in my head that this was peculiar, but forgot about it almost instantly as I stuffed it in my pocket. So, we devoured our meal, as mentioned, and headed home. When I got home, I pulled out all of the things from my pockets, as I do, and placed them on the table. Keys, wallet, phone, and the receipt with the change. When I pulled out the change, which was folded in with the receipt, I was quite shocked to find that I only had $2.72. Yup, I was a dollar short. I check and rechecked my pockets just to make sure the dollar wasn't somewhere else, but it sure wasn't. So, I've come to two conclusions. Either our public school system has truly failed us, and our teenagers/young adults can't count change properly even though the cash registers do the math for them, or this counter clerk is confiscating cash. If she's doing this on purpose, then she's probably doing it to every cash paying customer, meaning she could walk away with 2 maybe 3 extra dollars for every shift she works. Times are tough, indeed. Could I call the store up and make an issue of it? I mean, over a dollar? My word against hers? Not even worth it. I'd rather just write a review on yelp. And, as I mentioned, it could be an honest mistake, since counting to three is hard. Hope that extra dollar goes to good use. read more

Went there for the first time on my lunch break. The people were great but the food?........Not so much. The bag was filled with greasy dumped over fries that were half cooked at best. They were hot on the outside but hard and cold on the inside. I dug around the grease filled bag to finally pull out my burger and the bun was so soggy that it fell apart before taking a bite making it difficult to eat. Reminded me of the ducks you feed at a park trying to get a mouthful of the water logged bread you just tossed them. For how expensive it was, I expected way better quality.. This place had great space with bright windows to view outside.I would say the prices were a little expensive but it was worth it considering the quality! I'm disappointed in this location tonight. Walked in at exactly 5 minutes before they closed and was greeted with a bold rolling of the eyes. Not one hello or "I'll be with you" as we waited at the counter. I can understand wanting to get off work but there were other patrons other than my bf and I who were still waiting for their food. We went to Five Guys last night and ordered three cheeseburgers. We got home with our food and two of the burgers were exactly what they were supposed to be. Mine, however was missing the patties. So I call and tell them they forgot to put any meat on the burger. I'm told it happens all the time (what?) and to come back and they'll give me a new one. So I drive back to the store where they have another burger waiting for me. The same guy I talked to on the phone said I could keep the original one along with my new burger. I threw the salad on the bun in the trash because, no thanks. So I get back home and start to eat my burger. One of my patties is completely raw in the center. So I pull that one off and just eat the other one. I call again and the same guy answers the phone. Now, I'm not a rude person and am literally just calling to inform them, so they do better next time. He starts to argue with me, saying he's pretty sure that burger was cooked. I told him I wasn't asking for anything from them, I just wanted them to know. Then he tells me if the burger wasn't bleeding, it was just the dye in the meat. I told him that's absolutely absurd because the other patty was cooked through. I let him know we will not be going back there as it was a horrible experience for me from start to finish. The picture doesn't do it justice, but it was basically purple, and ice cold in the center. If I could give a review lower than one star, I absolutely would. read more

Couldn't find the bacon on either burger. Fries are no big deal, no huge portions or anything. Good option of being able to load the toppings but a person can do that anywhere. Patties are all the same size and shape. Fries were grubbin. The cheeseburgers were actually doubles, a bit too big for my dotta, but she did a good job of wolfing it down anyhow. The employees at this location are always great - friendly, funny, and hard working. I wish there was an option to cook the burgers less than well-done, because sometimes they end up a little dry. Seriously the best burgers you'll find at a fast food joint imo. And that's saying something coming from me since most Californians will give In n Out top honors. Anyway, here the burgers taste like they could have been made at home (I.e., made from real meat as opposed to pink-goo-infused mush). And their Cajun fries really are tasty. Yes, you will pay more than you would for a simple cheeseburger from Mickey D's. But the price for a single patty burger is comparable to a large burger from most other burger joints. And here there are a ton of condiment options at no additional cost. And I'd rather buy a quality burger every once in a while than stuff my face with pretend meat every day of the week. Yum! Though if you are seriously allergic to peanuts, you should know that they have bins of peanuts open and available for snacking on while waiting for your burger to cook...so be careful! read more

It's good to know that there's a 5 guys within an hour drive, first heard of this place from being in the military either in California or somewhere possibly on the East Coast? They do an amazing job! The burgers are worth the extra couple bucks, and you can't stop eating fries, the wife got a shake which was awesome, and I love the Coke machine or you can mix it up. The same guy that invented the Segway is the same guy that help cope with that machine. Great job 5 guys! read more
