The meat and bun fall apart VERY easy. The bun was dry. The fries are soggy and greasy. Bacon was in little pieces and not slices. It over all is not a great spot for burgers.. I really like the way a five Guys burger feels in my hand, the way the bun actually feels like bread and the patty doesn't look like it was formed by a machine in a factory. The fries are too oily, they taste good and the oil may be healthier, but the way the brown paper bag become completing soiled by the oil kind of makes me not want to eat them. Of course I eat them... but it makes me think that I shouldn't. This was kind of a funny visit, because my daughter had just been to the five guys in Corona the day before and now we were in Temecula going camping with Adventure Guides... So she says to me "hey dad that lady also works in the Corona store, I saw her yesterday..." I was thinking that she was crazy, because that would be quite the commute back and forth, but I asked the lady and in fact she was the district manager working the grill line with all the other store cooks- That was pretty awesome- she had been at both stores! It was July 4th and there weren't a lot of choices for lunch so we thought, lets get something else ? 1) Grilled cheese: I'll give it an ok, but at least the bread wasn't a burger bun, could have got any of their normal "fixins" on it. 2) BLT was a bacon lover's dream, it was on a burger bun but 70% bacon, then a sprinkling of lettuce, tomato, etc. all the other stuff...uh, it was indescribable crispy wonderfulness. I never thought I would say I had TOO much bacon but the ratio was overpowering...again not complaining just saying. Cajun fries rule as always though a tad bit on the salty side. PORTION was huge. We asked for hot sauce and they were generous with a few containers of Franks red hot sauce. Service was outstanding and several of the employees asked if we had everything we needed. read more

For the short time I was there, I was completely carefree. I felt as though I was floating in the clouds looking down at all the foolish people eating at Chipotle next door. This Five Guys is consistently good. From customer service to the prep and serving of the food. A truly friendly and mindful staff. The burgers and fries are cooked while you wait. It takes a little while but it is definitely worth the wait. For those who love fries, one regular serving is really enough for two! They are served in a cup and placed inside a paper bag. Then they throw in a bunch more on top - awesomeness! There are many adds for the burgers at no additional cost, so you have a variety to choose from. I ordered the Little cheese burger all the way with a side of regular Cajun fries. As previously mentioned you get so many fries that the smaller burger is actually just right - especially one that is cooked up "all the way". The soda machines are the newest self serves that have the touch screens, allowing you to choose from multiple soda offerings. We were a huge fan until they changed their meat vendor. We arrived one day, ordered our burgers and took one bite and mmediately noticed the lack of beef flavor. We knew something was wrong. I asked management what the heck happened. They informed me that corporate has changed the meat supplier. They were surprised and mentioned that we were the first customers to actually notice. That was shocking to me because the taste of the burger had completely changed. Normally, Five Guys has a well-balanced burger. I'd written off Five Guys until this past weekend when, faced with limited choices, my girl friend and I popped into this Five Guys. What a difference! Five Guys has great burgers and you can design your burger how you want it since they have several toppings to choose from. I also enjoy their Cajun style fries. Although it is a bit pricey, you have to consider that this is considered an upscale burger restaurant compared with the standard fast food burger joints we're all used to in the area. If you have a smart phone, you can download the Five Guys app, and place your order so you can skip the line and your food will be ready for pick-up when you get there. So I get a call from my son and he ordered online at Five Guys. The guy behind the counter serves up the wrong order and walks away. Hmmmm? Is this how you treat a regular customer or for that matter any customer? So I called and asked for the manager to straighten this unfortunate situation out. Dave the manager on duty picked up the phone and did a great job with SERVICE RECOVERY!! He listened to the issues and took ownership for the problem. He asked if I wanted to file a complaint and I said "why do I need to do that when you have already solved the problem". He apologized multiple times and said they would make good on the order. It took a while for Five Guys Burgers and Fries to grow on me. Started back when I was in OC and tried them for the very first time about 6-7 years ago. Right from the start I realized it was different than In-N-Out. Not better, not worse, different. Sometimes different is a welcome thing, although we probably frequent In-N-Out by a 8 to 1 ratio. For every one time we've eaten at Five Guys we've eaten eight times at the other. The reason for this is because "In" is more consistent and lower cost. However...... Five Guys serves every burger (except the Jr.) as a double meat patty. Nice. The patties are bigger, and so are the buns. You have more choices for what you can put on your burger. I just had my last one with mushrooms, chopped raw onion, mayo, none of which you can get at "In." I think the fries at "Five" are better, Way better. You get "free" roasted peanuts in the shell at the Guys. Free in quotes because you pay more for the meal here so they are not really free, just factored into the pricing. But my wife and I DO like the peanuts while waiting for the food, so no complaints there! On the downside, they do cook the meat to death and the bacon is paper thin. I would probably rate them lower than 4 stars just for dry beef but if I pile enough stuff on it I'm usually happy with my meal. read more

The employees were not changing gloves while they were touching the cooking top, correcting masks and even one of them was eating the french fries with the gloves on. Nobody is really wearing mask correctly, not covering nose and mouth. I am not sure if it is mandatory for them to wear but one of them was not wearing mask. Was interesting to see the different flavors you could make, but was kinda annoying to have to wad through to find what you wanted. The layout of the place is a bit odd, compared to better layouts I've seen. The building used to be a video store, but it just looks like this place was built in a hurry, and doesn't feel like a 5 guys that I've been to before. Looking for a quick bite, I ordered online and raced down to the store to pick it up. Ordered at 6:17, receipt said ready at 6:25. I arrived at 6:31, store is busy, no one greats me or asks if I need help. I find the pick up area and plant in front of it. Again, no one asks if I need help or if I have a to go order. Not wanting to be rude I think I will just wait a little, cut them some slack. They call numbers and customers get their food. They call out a couple names...other online orders and they get their food. A lot of burgers are being made, surely mine are in the bunch. Nope, all the burgers are made and my name isn't called. Now I am pulling my receipt up on my phone. Internet sucks here for T-Mobile. Now my name is called at 6:47 (22 minutes after promised), the explanation that the bag with burgers was placed above the fry station without him being notified is given to me. So, this is Yelp, I should write about the food, not just the poor customer service. When I got home (five minute drive) the burgers were still warm, the fries were lukewarm. Bun on my burger was soaked, burger was good...even with my anger still going (picturing Ben Folds Rockin the Suburbs, that's me). Cajun fries were seasoned well, but again, the temp and sogginess left them less than great. The cherry milk shake was flavorful, but had a weird quality, it wasn't cold but still had thick consistency. I am guessing they blend a bunch of whipped cream into it, but kind of odd. Burger flavor were better than a drive through type restaurant, but when you factor in the cost, what do you think? Overall? I think I would pass on a return visit to Five Guys. There are way too many other similar burger places in this area to end up angry with poor customer service. Save your time and go to In-and-Out, Habit, or Burger IM. read more

Awesome food as usual and very helpful crew. My daughter tried a BLT for the first time and loved it. It was stacked high with crispy bacon and she ate every bite, for once. Wow! Their burgers taste absolutely awesome, and I feel they are very reasonably priced. I love the fact that their menu is actually trimmed down to a few items, which I find great, makes things easier for me, haha. You can serve yourself as many peanuts as you want while you're there - the peanuts are great and taste like no other peanuts I have ever had. And another thing that just rocks: their fries! My only complaint: after eating in we had a bunch of left over fries I wanted to take back to a friend at work. When I asked for a Togo bag for them I was told the bag was only for my fries, not the peanuts they put out for the din in app. (I get it) but don't watch me bag up my fries to make sure I don't slip in any of the free peanuts.
