One of the best options for a dinner in Ogunquit, consistent ingredient quality and execution leave little to be desired here... Excellent cocktails and seasonal menu variations would recommend

Great little spot in downtown Ogunquit. We came here while staying at the Cliff House and split a bunch of appetizers. The fried oysters were some of the best we've had! We debated ordering a second plate. I also recommend the veal meatballs and octopus. In addition, Five O Offers a wide selection of cocktails. My boyfriend and I both enjoyed the coconut ginger martini ! I recommend stopping here if you will be in the area - but, I wouldn't drive here solely for this restaurant.

My overall takeaway would be that this was a good meal with fast, COVID-safe service. We had the bolognese and the pork and both were pretty tasty, classic dishes. They have outdoor dining for COVID-19 precautions. Masks are required on the way to your table and all the servers wear masks. The location is great because you can easily walk to the big parking lot and see all the shops before/after dinner. I recommend making a reservation through Resy. I asked Resy to notify me if a 7pm Friday reservation became available and I got a notice 24 hours before dinner that it did! So don't give up if your date/time isn't available at first glance - ask to be notified.

The food and atmosphere is awesome here! The calamari was some of the best I've ever had and the clam pasta was so delicious! The main room isn't too big so if it's busy it can get loud. The service was attentive and friendly and had so many good recommendations for my party. I enjoyed every entree I tried and I hope to be back soon!

    The blueberry martini

Visited on 7-15-23. Food is fantastic and unique! Had The Maine Lobster and it was expensive, but worth the splurge. Husband had the gnocchi and also loved it... said there was a bright creamy sauce that tied the dish together. The blueberry martini was quite memorable. Would have 5 stars, but I got a piece of plastic in my dessert (which was graciously removed from the bill) and couldn't have coffee or cappuccino because they were out of milk.

Wow wow wow, exceptional is an understatement. The food was incredible, and the service matched it! Our server Nikko was amazing, it's clear him and the Chef are a dynamic duo and my husband and I had an incredible experience. I've lived in Boston's North End 14 years and I'm a pasta snob. This pasta, was better than most North End Restaurants. I highly recommend this restaurant and thank Nikko, the very sweet bubbly blonde hostess and the Chef for such an amazing experience! I highly recommend! They are also great with food allergies!

We had a wonderful romantic delicious dinner on our first night in Ogunquit at Five-O. The appetizers were delicious; and our mains scrumptious. The food was perfectly done and timed and our server was lovely. The chicken and risotto was perfect, and the orecchiette was delicious. Would definitely come back!

One of my mom's favorite places! They are great.

Went here for Valentine's Day and loved the food. The arancini are a must have! Was also very COVID safe. Will definitely return.

A bit rushed. Drinks were drab and mundane. Food adequate. Service actually in and out like a fast food joint.

We had dinner here this week, and it was outstanding. First things first - parking is super easy, it's a free valet service (not obvious at first, as there is parking behind the restaurant, but you're greeted right away when you pull in). We walked through the bar area, over to the restaurant area (surprisingly the bar was quite full), and were able to choose a table by one of the two fireplaces. On the restaurant side, it feels very cozy, and homey, exactly where you want to spend a cold night, inside eating dinner. Our server was lovely, greeted us right away and provided menus. I started with a cosmo (they had flavored versions like strawberry, but I elected to go for the classic). For an appetizer, we started with the bacon wrapped scallops - the bacon was maple glazed, and wonderfully crispy, with the scallops cooked perfectly, and some micro-greens scattered on the plate - delicious. For entrees, my mom had the baked seafood stuffed haddock which came with a lobster sherry cream sauce, a massive pile of perfectly cooked green beans, and mashed potatoes (yum). I went with the duck special, which was absolutely delightful. It came with Brussels sprouts, and I subbed out the au gratin (I very strongly dislike sweet potatoes), for mashed potatoes. It was delicious. We were so full, we opted for dessert to go (chocolate cake), which was generously portioned, and decadently delicious. We really enjoyed the meal - this was a wonderful dinner to celebrate my mom's 80th birthday!

It was chock full of at least 5 lobsters worth of fresh claw and knuckle meat. I had to use a fork. Usually I wouldn't even give french fries a second thought but their fries are out of this world. They have some sort of seasoned crispy coating goodness on them that are an unusual stand-out in a world of frozen fries. The lobster bisque was also delicious and had whole claw and knuckle meat in it as well. My Dark & Stormy cocktail was strong and perfect for a rainy day. The place is clean, modern and stylish with a great view of the river. The bartender (short girl with blonde hair) was awesome and seemed genuinely happy to be there (unlike the other places I visited in Ogunquit). I wish this restaurant was located in my town. I would be a regular for sure.

Although the website gives you the…read morechoice to join their waitlist, there is a handwritten note when you arrive that says that they don't take reservations. So I generally check their hours of operation and drive there for dinner. Unfortunately in the spring we were turned away although we arrived over 1 hour before they closed as they said they were short- staffed and the kitchen was closing soon. We found a different place to eat and since we parked at the public lot across the street, we found that they were still open and had many customers an hour past their closing time. This time we decided to arrive extra early to avoid the previous situation. It was a sunny warm day but we were informed that the upstairs deck was closed because they were short staffed. We were looking forward to outside dining but the first floor deck is small and all the diners appeared to be having drinks. We choose first available which ended up being inside. When we first sat down, the couple sitting next to us wished us good luck getting our meals in the near future. Apparently all the others customers around arrived after them and they were almost finished with their meals and theirs hadn't arrived. A server offered them a compensatory drink for their inconvenience. One accepted and the other told them that she was done drinking for the day. When their bill arrived, the second customer asked if her drink could be comped. Her request was declined because they said that it would have been applied to the second drink and not to the first. As for our dinner, we went for the colossal lobster roll - hot with butter. We prefer the roll on the side to avoid it getting soggy. The regular lobster roll is currently priced at $35 with 1/4 lbs of meat. The colossal is $45 with 1/2 lbs of lobster meat. Our lobster meat was overcooked as it was slightly rubbery. That's not the quality we have gotten used to from years of visiting this restaurant. They may have had an off day as they were understaffed.
