How do you not know you have a internet ordering system. When it's right in front of you. My daughter and I stopped at Five Star Burger today as we were driving by and we were surprised at how good the food was. We ordered the Double Star Burger, a BBQ sandwich and an Oreo Shake. Everything was delicious and the sandwiches were huge. The interior is a bit dingy and a couple of booths were closed because of a broken window but the food made up for the lack of ambience. I don't normally have a complaint but the drive through experience last night was a bit rough, ordered a double star meal with no ketchup, got the meal but the burger didn't have anything on it. This review is about a month late, I am on a quest to find a great burger stand and this is it - Five Star Burger - like the rating. I went through the drive-thru. Quick to take the order and to answer a few questions - very polite. Once to the window greeted nicely, got my bag of goodness. The burger is not thrown in a bag it is in a Styrofoam box and placed nicely. The crinkle cut fries were awesome and not soggy. The burger was awesome , everything about it makes it a great burger. Tried this place over the weekend, and it was pretty good. On the plus side, the burger was huge, and the prices are cheap. On the other hand, the burger patties are obviously previously frozen, and the fries are the same exact frozen fries I buy and cook at home. This place is good if you're hungry and want to fill up for cheap. Five Star Burgers is on par with most fast foods, so if you're happy with fast food quality, you'll be happy here. read more

When 5 Star first opened, they had excellent service & food, sadly they have progressively gone done hill. I preordered a combo, went to go pick up, then they started the order. This restaurant is amazing. I've visited this location three times now since I was introduced to it by a friend, and every single time I've been served by an exceptionally friendly staff. The inside is clean and also has great air conditioning to provide relief from the hot weather while you eat. Next, the variety on the menu is large and diverse enough that anybody should be able to find an item to chow down on and enjoy. Finally, the food I have tasted up to this point has been delicious, and I will probably be a regular customer from now on. - P.S. - (Way better than standard fast-food fare such as McDonalds, which I personally find disgusting). read more

This is the best god damn burger I've ever had. The only one I can speak on is the 5 star burger. Never needed to try anything else because this burger is so . Burger is huge, ingredients are the freshest I've every tasted on a burger. Don't eat this on your lunch break because your body will wreak of onions and pickles because of how fresh they are. I'm not complaining about it though. I'm pretty sure they grow the ingredients in the back or something that's how fresh they are. The price is also unbeatable. as far as I'm concerned, this is one of (very few in this area) the best places for a honest, real ooey-gooey loaded to the gills hamburger. Their hand made shakes are the best, and if you don't want a hamburger, their grilled cheese sandwich is another favorite of mine. And also before I took a bite of my burger I saw they gave me a medium fry..which I didn't mind too much so I just ate them and then proceeded to eat my burger. And my boyfriend decided to call them and they basically said there's nothing they can do because I had already taken two bites of my burger. Which is understandable..but they wouldn't even remake my boyfriends meal which wasn't even touched. The 'manager' there also didn't give us a receipt or tell us our order number. $18 & some change for two burger meals. One was a Western Bacon & the other was a Pastrami burger. Service was decent, food was hot, but the place could be cleaner. The burgers are most likely frozen and cooked on the griddle & are also frozen crinkle cut. They were just OK. I've been eating burgers in Modesto since the early 1950's. I've had better, and I've certainly had worse. Their double-combo reminded me a bit of Snow White, and it was very tasty. The crinkle fries were done just right, and there was plenty of them in the paper boat. The drink was a large size...not one of those little cheapie sizes. I"m 6'3", 225 lbs, work hard and eat big. I was just able to finish all that came for $6.45. All things considered, especially when considering the price, I will definitely be going back. read more

Halal Chicken Philly Cheese Streak was soooo good! Definitely would eat that again. I didn't like the halal crispy chicken sandwich because it needed a little bit more cheese and it lacked some salt. I'd say if you added another slice of cheese it'd accommodate for the lack of salt in the chicken patty. I also added some avocado to the crispy chicken sandwich but I wouldn't say that added to the lack of salt in the patty.
